I Became The Villain The Hero Is Obsessed With chapter 330

330 - Absolutely

330 – Absolutely

An S-class villain conference led by Celeste, commonly known as the Cathedral.

The conference was held at the round table of the cathedral.

“Well, everyone has arrived.”

“…”

“….”

Compared to before, the atmosphere was completely frozen.

This meeting was held quite quickly compared to the time since the last one.

And of course, the reason for that was me, and it seemed that nobody here was unaware of it.

Because Celeste was glaring at me fiercely.

“…..”

Although Celeste’s eyes were closed as usual, it felt like her gaze was piercing through her eyelids. It was quite scary.

Of course, the other villains were quiet in this atmosphere, but they would sneak peeks at me, seemingly interested in the angel incident. They already knew that I had a god, so they knew about the three gods. Especially, they must have gained confidence from Celeste’s reaction to me. Ah, I really took the angel of the gods with me.

Everyone seemed curious about the angel and me, but during the small talk time before sharing information, no one asked me about it. There was no one brave enough to bring up the subject while Celeste was emitting such deep anger.

“That’s right, Egoistic brother. I heard you got the descended angel, is it true? It’s been quite a fuss lately.”

…No, there was one daring guy.

There was that one guy with the red mohawk… What was his name? Anyway, he called me “brother” and was from Italy…? A villain.

He asked me with such innocent eyes.

Even as Celeste was shooting me annoyed glances and blatantly showing her displeasure.

“…Ahem. Well, you see…”

Of course, the other villains next to him were surprised by his tactless remark, coughing awkwardly and pretending to stop him… but they weren’t actively trying to intervene. Judging by their furtive glances in my direction, they were all curious about what had transpired.

And before I could even open my mouth to answer his question.

– Bang.

From where Celeste was sitting, there was a thud.

Everyone jumped and looked to the right, where Celeste was seen organizing a white, Bible-like book and slamming it down onto the round table.

“Now, let’s stop this. Let’s start the meeting.”

She spoke in a calm tone, but there was no mistaking that it was an act.

In fact, it might be strange for the villains here – who were practically living as tyrants in their own countries – to pay attention to Celeste’s mood.

But what could they do? In the world of villains, the stronger ones dominate, and there was no one here who wanted to cross Celeste, rumored to be able to move continents by herself.

And so, the meeting began.

The main corner of the Cathedral meeting, where everyone shared their high-level information.

When it was my turn, I said:

“Atlas, who didn’t come today as usual, told me that recently, in the sea, there are evolved creatures that used to be the monsters of the moon.”

On behalf of Atlas, who today was fighting deep-sea monsters known as Deep Ones, I disclosed a few pieces of information he had shared.

Some of the more curious villains seemed disappointed that I didn’t reveal more details about the angels, but there was nothing I could do. Provoking Celeste further would be burdensome for me as well.

Having briefly informed them about the patterns and countermeasures of these monsters, I spent my time listening to the others speak.

Finally, the meeting came to an end.

“Egoistic. And you, stay behind.”

“Yes, yes. What do you need?”

I replied with a sly smile to Celeste’s cold voice.

Her chilly gaze turned away from the other villains, who were looking at us with interest, as she closed her eyes and shook her head.

After sending away the concerned Katana and Li Xiaopeng,

Once again, Celeste and I were left alone in front of the round table inside the cathedral.

And after we were the only ones left.

“…Egoistic!”

Celeste abandoned her previously calm demeanor and angrily strode toward me.

As soon as she stood in front of me, she opened her eyes, which had been closed until now, and stared straight at me.

Dressed in a saintly robe and with her white silver hair fluttering, her golden eyes were ablaze with anger directed at me.

“Whoa, whoa. Calm down.”

“Calm down my ass… What have you done? Tell me honestly.”

As soon as her words ended, four massive silver spears materialized in front of me.

Looking at the holy spears hovering menacingly in the air, I raised my hands and chuckled.

“hahahaha. Why are you doing this? What have I done?”

“You…! I can’t believe how shameless you are. You dared to steal the Sun God’s servant without permission, and then you say that?”

She spoke like that, staring at me with her burning golden eyes as if she wanted to devour me.

Wearing a sacred white robe, with mysterious silver hair and a sculpted appearance, she looked utterly unbalanced as she poured out her anger with her eyes wide open. Her words became increasingly rough too. Perhaps this was her true nature hidden behind her role as a saint.

Anyway, I smirked as I watched Celeste move exactly as I had expected. Good, just as planned.

To her, who was so defiant,

I still smiled and spoke as if saying something obvious.

“Who said that? That I took her without permission.”

“What?”

“Celeste, I officially received the divine revelation and simply brought her with me as the god intended.”

At my calmly spoken words, her delicate brows furrowed.

“Nonsense. …There’s no way that god would leave me and entrust their servant to you.”

“It’s you who doesn’t make sense, Celeste. I heard their voice in my dream and simply followed their command. If not, would an angel follow my words? Look. Halo!”

As I shouted, gravity distorted for a moment beside me, and a blonde angel sprang out of thin air.

“Did you call, master?”

From noble mtl dot com

“Did you see?”

The angel, who had the same golden eyes as her, clearly a servant of the Sun God beyond doubt, bowed her head and spoke as soon as she saw me.

Looking at the angel…

Celeste’s face showed disbelief.

“…Nonsense. There’s no way that god would do that for a follower of the Star God.”

She muttered, seemingly confused.

Of course she would be. She had served the Sun God all her life, following his voice. In the end, she had been recognized as his avatar. And now, he sends an angel to someone who believes in another god? It would be absurd.

Even so, she couldn’t just blindly doubt me.

Because in her belief, the Sun God was an infallible, omnipotent being. Would that god be stupid enough to lose an angel to me, a former A-class villain? That would be an even harder story to believe.

Of course, if things continue like this, there’s a high chance she’ll end up accusing me of being in cahoots with the Star Deity and causing a fuss.

So I need to quickly open my mouth.

Before Celeste could say anything, I spoke up.

“Celeste, do you remember our bet last time? The one I proposed before we parted ways.”

“…..”

“Before the next cathedral opens, I said I would prove that I’m closer to the god than you. And so, I have proven it.”

“…You must have done something underhanded…”

“Celeste. Did the god of the sun tell you anything? That an angel would descend.”

“…”

“He didn’t tell you, but he told me long ago. Why do you think an angel descended upon South Korea in the first place?”

In fact, it seemed like the reason was that the comic artist wanted to pair up Stardust and Celeste, but I pretended as if the angel’s arrival in Korea was all because of me.

And that bluff worked quite well.

Why? Because although she pretended to be calm, I could see her wavering.

So, after glancing at the angel standing right next to me, I grinned and delivered the final blow.

“Even if my power comes from the Star Deity, I sincerely believe in and serve the sun god. That’s why He acknowledged my loyalty and appointed me as His apostle. And the order to eliminate the one who fulfills wishes in prison was also His command.”

“Don’t lie…”

“It’s not a lie. You just want to believe it is. You’re afraid that your sole position of devotion will be threatened.”

“You…!”

As she was provoked by me and momentarily tried to summon her spear in a fit of rage, I raised my hand again as if to calm her down, then smirked and said.

“Anyway… What I want to say is, let’s get along as partners now. As apostles of the same sun god.”

“…..”

At my words, she glared at me as if she wanted to tear me apart, but couldn’t say anything else.

Why? Because, for now, the sun god’s angel was indeed following me.

And if she tries to kill or torture me, she wouldn’t be able to handle the aftermath if I were actually an apostle acknowledged by the sun god. How would she deal with an angry god? Especially since she sincerely respects and believes in the god.

No. It’s a well-known fact to those who know even a little about gods that the sun god and the star god don’t get along. She knows I’m an incarnation of the Star Deity, and yet the sun god gave me an angel? It’s unbelievable.

But what can she do with the evidence right in front of her? This angel sincerely follows me and even calls me its master.

So right now, even with 99% certainty, she couldn’t do anything to me because of the 1% doubt.

She couldn’t ignore the slightest possibility that my words were true, after all.

After a moment of silence, she finally regained her composure.

With a cold face, she glared at me and spoke again.

“You… when the day comes that your vile lies are exposed, know that you won’t die a peaceful death. I will personally tear you apart and kill you.”

“Yes, yes. I understand. Can I leave now?”

“…”

“I’ll contact you later. hahahaha, we’re not partners anymore, right? Then, farewell. Halo, let’s go.”

“Yes, master.”

And so, I carried her on my back and walked leisurely toward the exit of the round table with the angel.

Feeling the burning gazes from behind.

Phew, this is fun.

***

“Damn… Sigh.”

After Egoistic had left,

Celeste was left alone, closing her eyes and sorting out her throbbing headache.

“…Oh, Sun God. What on Earth are you thinking…”

Even swearing, something she never did as a saint who should be holy and pure.

She summed up the situation.

Egoistic.

That not even funny, insect-like guy was impersonating a divine apostle, selling an angel’s name, and deceiving everyone.

The possibility that the Sun God chose such a vulgar and unlikable man was zero.

…Of course, the will of the gods was so broad that humans couldn’t understand it. There was a one in ten thousand chance… but still, it wasn’t it.

‘…Whatever. After all, he’s just a weak human who would burst with a single flick of my finger.’

As she pondered, she soon sorted out her thoughts.

That’s right. Regardless of what he was, the difference in power was already evident. She could deal with him in no time if she only made up her mind.

Egoistic. If only she could find out how his lies and deceit brainwashed the angel… it wouldn’t be too late to deal with him then.

Just as Celeste was thinking that,

Her confidant, Arthur, knocked and entered the room.

“What is it?”

“Pardon my intrusion, Lady Celeste. The woman you called for last time has arrived.”

“Ah… tell her to come in.”

As Arthur’s words reached her, Celeste’s mind was slightly relieved.

The woman she had called when Egoistic had eliminated the wish-fulfiller. That’s right, the prophetess of the Sacred Trust.

In fact, there was no one who could see the future exactly. Such an ability was impossible.

However, if it was not a prophecy, but a ‘prediction’ of specific relationships or people… there was someone who could do it.

So, Celeste entered the tent that was placed at one side of the room.

As she entered, a small dark room appeared. In that room sat an old woman with green eyes and dull blonde hair, wearing a worn-out robe that covered her head completely.

“It’s been a long time, seer.”

“hehehe… Lady of the Sun. What brings you to call upon this humble fortune teller?”

At the old woman’s words,

Celeste opened her mouth and spoke calmly and clearly.

“Show me how I will be entwined with Egoistic, the one also known as ‘The Many’.”

“Very well. Please place your hand on this crystal…”

Following the old woman’s words, Celeste took a deep breath and placed her slender hand on the crystal orb on the desk.

The seer, Delphi.

She was a person with an ability that was connected to divine power and beyond Celeste’s control. This woman, who could probe limited and fragmented possibilities of the future, possessed the most ‘prophecy’-related ability among the people with abilities in this world.

With her power, she could see the future and destiny of Egoistic, the one related to herself. What would come to pass?

With that thought in mind, Celeste placed her hand on the crystal orb.

Then, at that moment, her vision flipped, and a landscape appeared before her.

*

A space made of bricks.

There, a silver-haired woman dressed in a holy robe was pinned against the wall by a man wearing a black hat.

With her back against the wall and looking up at the man with her golden eyes, the silver-haired woman opened her mouth with a trembling voice.

“Wait… Egoistic, calm down. We can’t do this here, okay?”

“I can’t help it. I can’t hold back.”

“No, please calm down. I’m fine with it, too, okay? But not here, just for a moment… huh.”

However, the silver-haired woman’s words didn’t last long.

Before her words could finish, the black-haired man kissed her.

“Uh… wait, just for a moment…! Uh…”

And so, when he briefly broke the kiss, he kissed her again before she could continue talking.

As she kissed the man with an expression that seemed to say that she didn’t really dislike it despite her words, the woman said,

“Mmm…”

“Um… ah, huh… ugh…”

Soon, she seemed to give up on trying to break free.

Closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around the man’s waist, she focused on kissing him.

And so,

From noble mtl dot com

With that scene as the last,

…the vision in front of her eyes came to an end.

*

“…Haah, haah.”

“hehehehe. What did you see, Celeste? …Celeste?”

“Wait a moment. Just a moment…”

In the dark room,

With her hand still on the crystal ball, Celeste caught her breath, her face flushed.

“….”

After calming down somewhat,

She quietly stood up and spoke.

“…Thank you. Delphi.”

“hehehehe… Come anytime. The next divination… will only be possible in three years.”

Leaving the fortune-teller who said that behind, Celeste walked away, looking forward.

…There’s no problem.

After all, it’s just a possibility. A future that may not come depending on how she acts. That kind of future will never come.

As if she would be like that. As if she would make such a face… Never, never. Because it won’t, never.

“Never…”

Muttering like that,

Celeste stepped outside.

It was a summer night.

🐟: Menurutku Dewa Matahari menjadi bos karna Celeste mati. Ingat urutan bos?

  2. Extra Extra says:

Lmao what? I unironically didn’t expect that outcome.

Then what about the Sun God? If Celeste gets seduced by Dain, is she just gonna turn on her own god? Or will the Sun God not be the final boss? 🤔

Wait, the comment above said something about Dungeon Maker.
If i remember again, her power is to make a different space and dimension in the form of dungeon that can interfere with space-related abilities (such as gravity, fly, teleport, telekinesis, dimension manipulation).

Does that mean…… Dungeon Maker is the natural enemy of Celeste???

And doesn’t Dungeon Maker is also one of 5 villains escaped from prison?

If Celeste and Egostic meet Dungeon Maker, i’m sure this chance will happen. Especially before Dungeon Maker was arrested, she was clearly intent to erase ‘secret button clear’.

  10. Ag Sen Ag Sen says:

Guysss!!!! remember when i said the three saintess(Haru, Eun-wol, Celeste) will ‘fight’ someday?? it might seriously happening after Egostic retire
