Civil Servant in a Romance Fantasy chapter 93

His Majesty the Crown Prince Cheon Cheonsei

His Majesty the Crown Prince Cheon Cheonsei

There was a small incident where the 4th section showed off his strange courage, but the 4th section’s reunion put my mind at ease. Employees are far from armed force, except for the butler.

If Section 4 is in the mansion and clowns in ink are holding on outside, it is possible to shake off even those who are determined and attempt terrorism. If the academy had this level of manpower support, I would have been happy.

– That was an interesting comment.

“Thank you for listening.”

– Well, it’s not the director of the inspection department who directly manages the site.

So, while we were talking about protocol, I secretly got lucky with the Minister of the Palace House, and I laughed lightly, saying that it was an interesting remark. Of course, everyone knows that being interesting on this floor means ‘don’t talk bullsh*t and do what you’ve been doing’.

I can’t do that either. Actually, the reason why the ink clown came to the academy the other day was because of the third glory subjugation, but it’s too wasteful to put a power equivalent to that of a muk clown in the academy.

The fact that I received the support right now was possible because it was a special case where I was robbed of my mansion. It’s difficult to think of it as a constant just because you’ve tasted something convenient once. I need to throw away the lingering quickly.

– How are the VIPs?

“I took a light look around the plaza. He liked it.”

– Haha, that sounds like something the mayor would be happy to hear.

I naturally nodded my head at the words of the Minister of the Imperial Household. Although he is usually a quiet mayor due to his age, strangely, the square is like the face of the city, and he is passionate about managing the square.

It’s understandable if you think that the elderly tend to set up flower beds or vegetable gardens as a pastime. Although the scale is too big.

Anyway, since it’s such a market, if you say that the square you managed is nice for the royals to see, they’ll be very pleased. I don’t know if I heard that word for no reason and didn’t want to become a Buddha with extreme happiness.

– If you’ve already seen it, good for you. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a protocol in a slightly familiar place?

“You are right.”

I moderately agreed to the words that I would do the protocol in the plaza. Actually, it doesn’t matter where you do it. I’ve already suffered from those guys, so what’s the use of the plaza or the imperial palace? If you’re going to do it, you should have done it before lunch.

– His Highness’ work will be over soon, so prepare the director of the inspection department.

“Yes, I understand.”

I was a little bothered to go out, but I tried to get up. I am afraid of the aftermath to leave the crown prince unattended.

There was a minor and pitiful commotion that caused Ainter’s pupils to fluctuate rapidly, but in the end they went to the garden square. If he is asked to choose between going to meet the prince who is afraid of appearing in his dreams and cheating on him, the former is better.

“Ainter, are you okay? Wouldn’t it be nice to rest?”

“It’s okay, Lady Louise. It seems that motion sickness comes late.”

I felt salty when I saw him answer with a smile. This time, it was all the more so because Ainter, like me, was just a victim of being swayed by the bad guys.

“Don’t worry, it will be over soon. His Highness is busy with other work.”

After saying that, Ainter’s expression relaxed a little. At least in this protocol, I confirmed with my mouth that the crown prince would never touch Ainter. I’m still afraid to meet him, but at least it’s not a procession to crave himself.

“It’s not an official visit, so it should be over quickly. You’d better get some rest when you get back.”

From the side, Laterr patted Ainter on the shoulder and comforted him. It seems that they built a friendship enough to worry about this while living together for a semester. Looking at it from the outside, it doesn’t look like a warm-hearted person.

‘Who is it for?’

This wouldn’t have happened if the trio hadn’t said they would go to Jedo in the first place. Ainter looked at Later with a mysterious look mixed with half gratitude and half double desire, probably thinking the same way as I did. Giving sickness and giving medicine is just like this.

“Thank you for your consideration.”

Still, the way Ainter smiled and said thank you was admirable. Only with such composure can you survive the crown prince’s dragon show.

It seems that all the mentality that went to the second prince went to Ainter. Mentally weak bastards don’t deserve to survive. It seems that I have learned one of the reasons why the 2nd prince’s pup perished like a dog.

As she gained her enlightenment and turned her attention to another place, the restless Irina came into her eyes.

“Irina.”

“Sobbing!”

When I touched her shoulder, I felt ashamed for nothing at her startled look. No, she didn’t expect it to surprise her that much.

“Oh, brother.”

“Don’t tremble too much. Even the crown prince said it was okay.”

Irina can easily guess why she was rolling her eyes here and there like a meerkat. It must be questionable whether it would be okay for a young lady of a count family to be in the presence of the crown prince and other members of the royal family.

Originally, I was going to take only three of them, but the crown prince wanted all of them to attend, so I had no choice but to bring them all. That bastard has a knack for bothering people with every little thing.

“Yeah, but I dared to take the place of the royals…”

But she couldn’t control her trembling body, despite the prince’s permission.

Actually, this is normal. Louise has a lot of experience in the club, so she unintentionally develops resistance, Erich is not afraid of anything with Louise, and Marguetta is a member of the ducal family right next to the imperial family. This is how Irina is in a pitiful situation.

“They all came together for the purpose of traveling, not as royalty. It’s strange to meet someone and not meet someone.”

“Is that so…?”

She’s sorry for Irina, who nods her head as if possessed, but that’s a lie. No matter what the purpose of the trip, she doesn’t have to call the entire party to do something that will only end when she meets the royal family. The prince’s passive skill, Suspicious Soldier, was just activated.

She is a local aristocrat who has a close relationship with the royal family of other countries. A native aristocrat made contact with her half-brother, who kissed her succession to the throne and goodbye. From the crown prince’s point of view, she intends to take this opportunity to check it herself.

Of course, if she said that, she thought she would see Irina’s tears again. After all, she was right when she said it was okay for the prince to come. She didn’t lie

‘I’m sorry.’

She muttered an inaudible apology to herself. Nothing will happen except to check her face though.

The ceremony itself went smoothly. The ministers gathered and discussed thoroughly, so if something happens, that would be even more strange. Even my role is to sit down and applaud or salute moderately, so even if something tries to explode, it cannot explode.

‘That nobleman is here too.’

I looked around and saw a middle-aged man in command of an escort. The corps commander of the 1st Guards Corps, in charge of defending the island. He seems to be rolling hard since he was appointed three years ago and he’s still rolling.

Ah, our eyes met.

As soon as we bowed lightly to each other, we looked away. Wasn’t it a pleasant encounter?

“Does anyone know?”

“It must be harder to find people you don’t know in the system than people you know.”

I replied bitterly to Erich’s small question beside me. Civil servants who are worthy of their names in the system cannot be ignorant even if they try to know. All of them are potential inspection targets, so I have to keep rough information in my head, and from their point of view, I’m a surprise guest who doesn’t know when to visit.

“Awesome.”

She briefly glanced at Erich, who spoke admiringly. Seeing that her older brother’s career as a civil servant was great, she wondered if he was also interested in becoming a civil servant.

‘I really have to write it.’

She said that if he graduates and has nothing to do, he should write a letter of recommendation to the Ministry of Finance, Justice, or War. I’m sure Erich will be happy too. He is a Krasius man who must go through life as a civil servant.

“How happy would it be if today’s small meeting led to a huge friendship between countries?”

I heard a disturbing voice while I was in the pleasant trouble of designing my younger brother’s future. When I turned my gaze to the voice, the prince on the podium was reciting a welcome speech. Since the crown prince refrained from speaking at length, the ceremony would have been almost over if it had come to the order of reciting the welcome speech.

I was listening to the welcome speech with such a carefree heart, but the ordinary contents began to drift.

“An unexpected visit is more welcome than a known guest.”

Huh?

“Sometimes it’s better to take a light step than a heavy one.”

Huh?

“An empire is an empire because everything gathers. It is an empire because everyone can come. That’s why we can open our hearts and welcome any visit.”

Prince, you bastard.

‘You turned the top too.’

I bit my lip slightly at the impression that came from the depths of my heart. Otherwise, it seemed like they would pour out speeches in support of the crown prince with standing ovations.

Yes, this is me. This is the right welcome.

‘As expected, he’s a gangster.’

As an heir, I can’t bear to do it, but if I’m at the level of a crown prince, it’s possible for a prince or the next saint to take turns. Needless to say, if the crown prince is also a prince in a situation where he is pushed back by the crown prince.

Welcome to an unexpected visit? Are you willing to take a light step? Any visits welcome? Of course, on the surface, it is an ordinary message welcoming guests. If you’re openly blaming it on the outside, that’s a diplomatic fight.

However, speaking differently on the inside is the basic culture of a high-ranking person. The prince’s words are like sniping at the youngsters in the position of princes who suddenly visit the island without any promises and ask if they’re screwing. The Empire is a bonus showing off that you have the generosity and leeway to welcome you as well.

‘Thank you…’

The situation where the crown prince poured out the lump in my heart that I couldn’t spit out even if I died. How happy I am to have this situation that I couldn’t even dream of.

I stared blankly at the crown prince, choked up with emotion, and our eyes met with the crown prince who had finished his welcome speech. Then, the prince nodded slightly and coolly stepped down from the podium.

I am not really a supporter of the crown prince. It is a relationship of one mind that transcends supporters. A challenge to the Crown Prince from now on is the same as a challenge to me.

Something I’ve noticed is that karl is suffering from PTSD and depression so badly that I think he perceived things incorrectly we know his sense of taste is heavily affected, and from the CP inner thoughts a few chapters ago he seems to really like Karl and was reluctent to use him home so I think Karl is an unreliable narrator
