How To Live As A Writer In A Fantasy World chapter 180

How To Live As A Writer In A Fantasy World 180

Chapter 180

This is roughly what the elves should tell Pyren. Zeno’s real name, place of residence, appearance, and finally taking measures to prevent him from writing anymore.

There is a high probability of being deceived by such lies, as it does not violate the oath, and it means that Pyren has some trust if he entrusts the pursuit to them.

Of course, Pyren will tell you that she wants proof because she’s not an idiot. There is one thing I prepared for such a time, and that is the ‘fake oath’.

An oath is effective only when mutual agreement is reached, but fraud occurs frequently as it is a kind of ‘contract’. The biggest scam among them is, as I said before, fake oaths.

Even though there was no agreement, there were many cases of lying to them that they had signed an oath by showing them a seemingly good clause. There are various ways to check whether an oath has been signed, so it is not easy for first-timers.

Therefore, this method works well with anyone who has built up some level of trust. Callas said that the reason Florence pointed them out was that he was trustworthy, if not trustworthy, so it will work well.

However, it is essential to meticulously manipulate it so that it is not exposed as a fake oath. Cecily also told me not to worry about this, so it’s no big deal.

All the baits are ready, all that’s left is to wait for the bite to come. As I was preparing for this and that, it was just before sunrise outside.

I looked at Callas and his crew, exhausted from the extreme pressure, and asked for confirmation.

“Did you understand what I said? If you don’t want your ears to turn black, you’d better do what I say.”

“…all right.”

Now that even his pride had been folded neatly, even Callas used respectful words. He has been pressed for hours in captivity, and his mind is exhausted.

Besides, they are elves. You’ve never been in a situation like this before.

“Isaac. I’ve written all my oaths here.”

“Hmm…”

Moments later, I got a fake oath from Cecily and checked the terms. I asked you to write it as an arrogant elf, but I wonder how you wrote it.

[The future biography of Zeno should be written with the permission of the Senate.]

okay. One look is enough. There was also a provision to exclude all the bad points of the elves and write only the good points, but only the first one ended.

It is safe to say that it contains all the clauses that are really pleasing to Florence, who is full of racial supremacy. If Xenon’s biography was written according to this provision, it would be replaced by propaganda.

It was written with only one elf looking at it, and it was not complicated and concise.

“Sign here… and you too.”

Callas took an oath on the fake oath and put it in his arms. Even the fake oath must have been prepared, I warned again.

“Keep in mind. Depending on how you come out, your life, not your ears, may fly away. Okay?”

“…I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Then go back to the old elf, Piren. Make good use of what I’ve told you.”

As I waved my hand as I spoke, the elves disappeared without questioning who came first. Seeing the wave of mana, it seems that she used teleportation.

It was a little funny to see him run away as soon as he had the chance, but there is still work to be done. I told Cecily as soon as the elf chase disappeared.

“Sister. Did you tell Siris-san?”

“Maybe he was chasing me by now.”

“Is there any problem with using the teleport?”

“Yes. It’s not difficult to track if you understand the principle of teleportation. Rather, there is a greater risk of being caught by teleportation. Can you tell me what the principle is?”

“no it’s okay.”

It is better to dismiss magic as just a magical power. Because of the memories of my previous life, I’m only very knowledgeable, not smart.

“Son, do you really think you’ll succeed?”

My father crossed his arms and asked me how he felt the situation was over. A question is etched on his face.

Before the elves broke into the mansion, they gave him a rough plan, but he was still skeptical. Although he did not directly step into politics, he seems concerned about the current situation as he has seen it from afar.

I also don’t see 100% chance of success like my father did. The world doesn’t always do what it wants, and when people are in a corner, they tend to behave unpredictably.

However, if it’s Jifiji, it’s a hundred wins, and in fact, in this fight, this side is very advantageous. Even if a variable occurs in the middle, there are helpers who can block it, so the flow itself will not be broken.

“Well, I don’t think it’s going to be as successful as my father feared. But it won’t go against the flow. What’s left will depend on how well the Queen agitates.”

“It’s agitation… I heard that the speech was brilliantly done, but I don’t know about agitation.”

My father scratched his chin and said vaguely because he had never heard Arwen’s speech in person.

However, the original speech and agitation are a single sheet of paper. Especially if you mix a little lie with the big truth, people are bound to be deceived.

This is a world where information, let alone the Internet, does not spread properly. Someone in a previous life left a famous saying like this.

Incitement is possible with a single sentence, but dozens of documents and evidence are needed to refute it. And when you try to refute it, people are already agitated.

Rumor has it that Goebbels, a famous Nazi orator, said it, but there is no evidence of that. However, it is proof that Goebbels’ ability to instigate was excellent enough to say this.

And Arwen, whom I have seen, has the ability to make a compelling speech, if not even Goebbels. I just gave her a speech and it was Arwen who successfully finished her speech, so she’s not lacking in her abilities.

“I’m sure he’ll do well. Does your father know how good public opinion toward the Queen is? It is Arwen who united pure and mixed blood into one.”

“Isn’t that thanks to your speech? But now you can’t help…”

“So all that’s left is in the hands of the Queen. She’s probably still preparing.”

From Arwen’s point of view, this is a golden opportunity to go beyond the thorns in the eye and sweep the Senate, which was nothing more than a lump of cancer. She informed Siris of her plans, so she must be preparing accordingly.

I just have to wait patiently and watch the situation. If a problem occurs along the way, you can take action at that time.

“Hmm… I’m asking because I don’t know much about Albenheim’s politics, but I’m curious if the power of the Senate and the power of the Queen are equal.”

“I know that they are similar. Because of the senate’s symbolism, they were not able to step forward, but there were also many prestigious families who were dissatisfied. The throne was created in the first place to check the senate.”

No matter how good Arwen’s management skills and political abilities are, it’s mentally very difficult to be checked by himself. If you look at how many times the owner of the throne of Albenheim has changed so far, you can get a rough idea of how severe the checks are.

But seeing Arwen persevering, what about the elites? Should I do it? He is watching her back with a feeling of that. Moreover, since he won the hearts of the people through his speeches, the support of the prestigious family has become even stronger.

“It doesn’t matter in that case, but we can’t stop the blood and wind blowing in Albenheim. Just having your hand hurt is a serious matter, but if it turns out that the culprit is a senator…”

“Arwen must be aware of it, too. But, given the permission, she seems to have taken it into consideration as well.”

It is clear that the Senate is a group that hinders the development of Albenheim, but its symbolism cannot be underestimated. If Arwen destroys that symbol, the people will be shocked.

The aftermath that ensued has to be endured by her. She hopes she will be able to take her wisely with her heart. It is highly likely that neighboring countries will take advantage of Albnheim’s weakness.

“Then what are you going to do now?”

“first…”

I smiled at Cecily’s question and answered in a tired voice.

“Go to sleep.”

I’ll write the letter later.

Callas and the gang escaped out of the mansion as if running away after Isaac’s feast.

They squeezed the remaining mana as much as possible and moved to a safe place. The farther away the teleport is, the more mana used increases exponentially, but the situation was unavoidable.

So they hurriedly moved to an area far away from the Michelle estate. The area they moved to was neither a city nor a village, but a forest, but for those who were elves, it was nothing more than a haven.

“Hey, what do we do now?”

The brown-haired elf woman, Lena, spoke in a voice trembling with anxiety and nervousness. Her eyes were trembling and her hands were touching her ears.

Mael was no different from her. The only difference is that she has a face close to despair. It looks like she has already given up.

“ha…”

After hearing Lena’s question, Callas took a deep breath and rummaged through his arms. Asmodian princess, Cecily’s handwritten fake oath book was held in his hand.

In my heart, I wanted to burn this oath by tearing it apart, but I can’t. If the ears turn black, the pride of an elf and everything will disappear.

There is nothing they can do right now. Callas opened his mouth quietly in a voice that seemed resigned.

“…Let’s go back to Albenheim for now. Please, I hope that Pyren will notice.”

“But the oath…”

“Just because it’s an oath doesn’t mean it’s perfect. There will probably be a breakthrough.”

An oath only works for the truth, not for a lie. So you’re using it backwards.

Callas cleared his resignation face and smiled, as if he had come up with a good idea as he thoughtfully gathered his thoughts. At that smile, the expressions of Lena and Mael also brightened slightly.

“Yeah. When we report to Pyren, we just need to show that we’re lying. Because promises don’t work with lies.”

“Well, that’s fine! But how can you lie…”

“When a person tells a lie, his body reacts. Typically, he treats his gaze to the left, wiggles his hands, etc. There are a lot of them. There’s no way that Florence-sama doesn’t know that.”

As Pyren has much more political career than other elves, he is also quick to notice. Besides, he has so many doubts that, once caught, he doesn’t let go until the suspicion is resolved.

Even if he doesn’t lie, the moment Pyren has a doubt, he will continue to dig and dig. And they can use it.

Rotting your ears from black mana? The important thing right now is to make time. The most important thing is to somehow make time for Pyren to act.

“But be careful. We don’t know who the traitor who will be in Alvenheim is. Given that he even knows Piren-sama’s full name, there’s a good chance it’s one of the most prestigious families.”

“Why is it that only human beings are of a prestigious family… even a young man…”

“There must have been a relationship. Or he really came from the future. The gods must have placed restrictions on him, so he can’t go out recklessly. So we…”

Shhh- puck!

While Callas was talking, something violently cut the wind, and he heard a sound of something sticking in his ears. Surprised by this, Callas and his party turned their heads towards the sound.

A dagger was stuck in a stem of herbs that stretched high into the sky, and a note was tied to the handle of the dagger.

Callas looked at the dagger that was stuck just above his head with a puzzled face, and reached out his hand. After that, he lightly pulled out his dagger and unwrapped his note with his trembling hands.

gulp-

In the sudden surprise, the sound of someone swallowing their saliva is clearly audible. Callas opened the note with a hopeful feeling.

And on that note…

[Don’t do useless things.]

There were clear warnings.

“… …”

Callas felt the blood all over his body cooling down in real time. He hurriedly unleashed his sensing magic and looked around, but he couldn’t detect anything.

‘how? Did you use teleport? What number did you use?’

Maybe this is the ability of that demon princess too. As the demons were completely unknown, it is not impossible.

Above all, demons are the representative races that serve Mora like dark elves. It’s not impossible to hide in the dark, so it’s not impossible.

It’s like having eyes and ears all over the place. It felt like the world was collapsing for Callas that even the road to Albenheim had to be monitored.

‘That guy is…’

Xenon, so how far is Isaac’s ability? Callas looked up at the sky with a disappointed expression.

In contrast to his feelings, the sky is perfectly clear.

‘It’s over.’

Callas smirked in vain.

When reading conversations, I just count how many lines in a row there is before another narative that explain another unrelated things. When you notice how badly they are written, it becomes very apparent. For example, it’s conversation between mc and his father about elves, why in-between narative explains about Goebel, when he will not be mentioned ever?
