Let me ask you a question. If there are no believers in God, does that God have any meaning?

God can exist through the faith of believers who believe in him. Even if you don’t repay that faith.

Earth had its own gods in the distant past, but now most of them believe in God.

Even so, the existence of the gods they believed in is not meaningless.

Myths became the first tales and philosophies, and they have been constantly evaluated until now.

Therefore, in order for the existence of God to completely disappear, not only records but also tales transmitted from word to word must disappear.

And the easiest and most effective of those methods is to use physical means.

Just as Hitler ran the Holocaust to exterminate all Jews, the Luminous were presumed to have committed similar acts.

“······Lady Ruminus committed a massacre?”

I asked with a feeling of half surprise and half doubt after hearing about Luminus’ past, which far exceeded my expectations.

Even the fact that Luminous’s hidden power is ‘war’ is surprising, but it even caused a massacre comparable to the Holocaust.

Usually, he exudes a warm and affectionate older brother-like atmosphere. However, it hides a rather terrifying past.

At the same time, a question arose. In what way did the war proceed so that Luminus caused the massacre?

I wondered if there was a reason to be convinced, or if it was because of pure greed.

There is a saying that good people are scary when they get angry.

[Hmm. I didn’t know if I could even say this. Normally, I would have told you not to tell me. Luminus, it looks like he believes in you.]

“Yes?”

But King Morgan brought up a strange story.

The expression of being curious while stroking his chin is the expression that he did not know it would happen after he said it.

[Nothing. Anyway, now that Luminous has eased the restrictions, there will be more to talk about. Are you wondering why he committed a carnage that would annihilate even the existence of a god?]

“Yes. I know that Luminus-nim is the god of war. But there must be a reason for such a massacre.”

Even the Nanjing Massacre is a level of understanding and going over, saying that it was madness caused by war.

But the Holocaust remains one of the most horrific massacres in world history, literally turning the whole world upside down.

No matter how good the reason is, it doesn’t change that it’s crazy. Luminous committed the same act as that.

The difference is that Nazi Germany was defeated and Luminous was victorious.

Seeing that even the records had disappeared, it seemed that there was a deeper story.

[That’s why… Unfortunately, even that isn’t accurate. We crossed the sea and found the record, but even that was not complete.]

“You mean you don’t know?”

[It’s just not accurate, it’s not that I don’t know. All I can say is that war breeds madness. And even the god of war can’t avoid it.]

It’s the same as Luminous said before.

War breeds madness, but those who declare it are extremely rational.

In other words, it was a war overflowing with all sorts of tragedies to the point that even the god of war fell into madness.

Since it was a war of gods in the first place, it was only natural that the madness overflowed.

However, I couldn’t imagine that he fell into madness with the luminous and slaughtered not only the gods but also the believers.

“······ Hard to believe.”

[Believe it or not, it is your freedom. I only speak the truth.]

“Could you explain the reason in more detail? As Your Majesty said, Luminus is a god of war, and war breeds madness.

Even that Hitler instigated the whole of Nazi Germany to cause the Holocaust.

A massacre that would never have happened if Hitler had been mad alone.

But Nazi Germany gladly followed the instructions because it was an order.

A madness so bizarre that the theory of ‘the banality of evil’ appears.

I wonder if this was the case with Luminous, or if it was for some other reason.

If you blindly caused a carnage… you’d be disappointed.

[Surprisingly, you seem to have deep faith in Luminus. Do you know that he even committed immorality?]

“I know. I also know the existence of a god related to the sea.”

[Hmm. It’s amazing. Normally, faith is shaken. Is it a soul from another world?]

“Yes?”

King Morgan is intrigued as he strokes his chin. I couldn’t help but be a little surprised by this.

Surprisingly, he knew from the start that I was a soul from another dimension.

It is certain that he is a body that has escaped from mortals, such as reproducing the situation from earlier and openly blaming Luminous.

[What are you so surprised about? I’m not really surprised.]

“What part did you infer from?”

[In many places.]

Having said that, King Morgan made a gesture of raising his hand.

Then books that were not visible until just a moment ago come to mind.

Thanks to the divine power, I was able to quickly grasp the identity of the book with much better eyesight than before.

The Biography of Zenon and Blood and Steel. These are all books written by me.

[Through these, I was able to guess a little bit. If it was really a soul that came back from the future, Jim would have noticed. But so far I haven’t noticed any signs of it. Blood and steel need no explanation. Do you know what that means?]

“Yes.”

With this, one thing is certain. That King Morgan is a being far removed from the vessel of mortals.

He doesn’t know what kind of hardships have been given to him since the reenactment of the situation shown by the vengeful spirits.

However, seeing that the soul was bound here, it was assumed that it had a deep connection with the gods.

[May I ask where you are from?]

“Earth, I guess, but it came from a world that dazzled the sea god.”

[what? Ha ha ha ha ha!]

Kurleung!

I don’t know what’s funny, but King Morgan burst into laughter.

Deafening laughter is also laughter, but the entire audience room shakes as if an earthquake had occurred.

I predicted it when I saw the reappeared vengeful spirit, but even though King Morgan was a spirit, he was able to physically interfere.

How strong was that power, enough to shake the palace with laughter alone? I’m curious about the power of life.

[Funny. Fun. Is it really the hometown of the gods who enchanted the god of the sea?]

“It’s just speculation. It’s just very likely.”

[It’s really fun. Earthra… I don’t know what kind of place it is, but it has a big and small impact on our world. But the way you came here seems to be different from that?]

“Yes. As for what happened…”

Just as King Morgan answered with sincerity, I also faithfully answered his question.

First, the story of the demon worshiper’s summoning ritual and the story of Grandpa Clark, who completely ruined it.

The ritual failed, so I came over, and the story of borrowing the knowledge from my previous life to write a book.

Even the fact that the books were beyond culture shock by the standards here and completely destroyed.

King Morgan stroked my beard as I told each story. An expression of interest caught my eye.

[This is really interesting. The world that had a direct or indirect impact on the destruction of the world once had an impact again. By the way, is it really the god of the sea that the devil worshipers are trying to summon?]

“I’m not sure about that either.”

[Hmm. that’s really weird The god of the sea is not banished, but must be sealed somewhere in this world. I don’t know why you came over.]

“······”

I narrowed my brows. He spoke in a flowing manner, but King Morgan’s words were quite sharp.

If what he said is true, then what the devil worshiper was trying to summon must be the sealed sea god.

Even though it ended in an attempt, I, who belonged to another dimension, strangely came over here.

Whether the ‘coordinates’ are wrong or the ‘target’ is wrong because of Grandpa Clark’s interference.

I’ve been thinking about it until now, but something was strange.

‘Are the devil worshipers really trying to unseal the god of the sea?’

Or what the hell was he trying to summon?

It was difficult to grasp the detailed circumstances as Grandpa Clark destroyed the entire summoning place.

My head gets complicated in many ways. I came here to answer the question, but it feels like the question is increasing.

“After hearing it, it’s strange. Why did I, who used to live on Earth, come over?”

[It would be better to ask Luminus directly. Not sure if it will give you the answer. Then it’s your turn. What do you want to ask?]

“Luminous-sama was Hitler in the past… no, no.”

It was almost a mistake that was not rude.

However, I naturally thought of him when I thought that he had cleansed humanity beyond race.

Fortunately, seeing that the heavenly punishment did not fall, it seemed to be over, even if it was bitter.

“Your Majesty said that Ruminus-nim even slaughtered believers for the extinction of the gods.”

[right.]

“Was there any reason to go so far? They say that wars lead to madness, but Luminus-sama is a god. Is there really something that makes a god get caught up in madness…”

[Accurate.]

Before I could finish my words, King Morgan affirmed in a heavy voice. Hearing that, I kept my mouth shut.

There was such an incident that such a gentle Luminus fell into madness. King Morgan said so.

I wonder what it is, or if it is simply because of the war.

Then, when the strange tension subsided, King Morgan raised the corners of his mouth and opened his mouth by leaning his upper body forward.

Unlike before, he did not speak arrogantly, but was more like a sage who taught a story.

[Young descendant. What would you do if your father was steeped in certain ideas and went astray?]

“I’ll think again if it’s the wrong way, and if it’s the wrong way, I’ll stop desperately.”

It’s not empty words, but I’ll stop it somehow.

He is a person who has suffered a lot of heartache, but if he is immersed in ideology, he will not be able to turn it back.

King Morgan nodded and continued talking, as if he sensed the sincerity of my words.

[Ruminus was similar to him. He rebelled because he judged that his father was lost in thought and was going the wrong way. But a welcome without a justification won’t win the heart. Even if it’s a god of war. In the war of the gods, it was a war in which many gods were intertwined.]

“Do you mean that there were many gods who believed that the god of the sea went the wrong way?”

[yes. Let me ask you one more time. Does your world have mana or magic? If you look at this book, it doesn’t seem to exist.]

King Morgan asked, pointing to the blood and steel among the floating books.

Naturally, I nodded in affirmation.

[As expected.]

“Does it have anything to do with the world I live in without mana and magic?”

[Then have you ever wondered why mana, magic, and divine power exist in this world?]

“That’s right…”

Because it’s a fantasy. I was about to answer, but stopped.

As for the summoning part from before, as I questioned things that were taken for granted, nothing was resolved.

because it’s natural Because it’s natural. Because it’s strange that there isn’t.

However, as a scholar’s mindset, the moment I questioned it, my eyebrows naturally furrowed.

First of all, the hypothesis that scholars related to this are saying with their mouth is like this.

“Isn’t that the ability God gave to mankind?”

[right. Then, in your world, do you know why there are no mana, magic, or holy power even though there are gods?]

“······”

[It’s natural that you don’t know.]

The reason why various myths, including Greek and Roman myths, exist literally as ‘myths’, not religions.

[It doesn’t matter if the sea god wins, it doesn’t matter if he loses.]

The reason why there are only humans on Earth, let alone various races.

[Humanity must have been destined to perish anyway. Luminus desperately blocked that.]

This world was defeated by the god of the sea.

[In the process, inescapable madness has arisen.]

Earth, Yahweh has won.

It’s kinda funny to see Luminus becoming Ruminus, while Rina can’t regain her rightful name, and had to be satisfied being called “Lina”, or “Reena” in special cases.
