Einar also began to lost faith in her own god and instead chose to believe the MC as the god. That was why she paled and acted unnatural when he turned around, and likely the reason why she “committed suicide” the next day. I put it in quotes because it’s very likely that it was the god/goddess of that world that did it because it was revealed later on that he went on to slaughter all of the gods in that world.
