The Mesgaki part of the Saint is only really extreme in the first part of the story and gets toned down in the later part. There is technically a reason for it.
Mostly the story evolves into Hero Adventure type story with some Polygamy.

At least Nagatoro wasn’t a harem anime so you could expect some romance here and there. I don’t like this story without a romance tag + a harem tag. I dropped it at chapter 8, I could read more but the future will disappoint me anyway.

It’s weird.
I can’t exactly say it’s bad, but it’s not really my normal style either. It’s unique.
First off, it’s a story about a guy who is transmigrated into the body of a hero of a novel he’s never read, and then moments later picked up by a Mesagki Saintess. The MC accepts that he’s been transmigrated unrealistically fast, but the start is interesting.
What is a Mesagki Saintess?
Per Google: At its core, “mesugaki” describes girls who: are small, young, provocative towards adults or their superiors, are full of self-confidence & assertive about it, and have a tendency to be temptresses/teases.
And the story holds true to this.
The Saintess constantly insults the MC over and over as they talk, but in a cutesy kind of way?
Idk, it’s weird.
Anyway, there are other heroes and other saintess’s and so on. The story seems interesting, so I guess it’s worth a read. It’s very character driven, world-building is a bit vague but it does exist. My opinion is formed from the early chapters I’ve read of it thus far.
But yeah, be prepared that this one is a bit… unusual.
