The idea of nobility is already disgusting. Novels with such stark hierarchal orders are very hard to read through. Luckily, my country hanged most of its nobility, killed almost all of its clergy and exiled its royalty. I want to see a MC that takes fault with such a system as any sane person would do and kills all nobles for once.

Basics of this story is not strictly possession. It’s similar to a Japanese novel with similar back ground where MC had Mecha units in fantasy world, forgot it’s name.
Story is based on a Research Center which MC was part of with his professor. His professor was working on some futuristic thing but MC lost the memory altogether and even forgot his time as Graduate student and only played game while doing job. So it’s like this, that Research Center found something like future of the world and MC became entangled in it. Game he is playing is most likely based on a real future where he controlled different characters he created and controlled in real time.
It’s like this, the Professor created the game with his knowledge of future and MC tried ways to save the future. And at the deadline when game will end it’s service his consciousness was sent into future. So Edgar he is possessing is more like him in reality with his consciousness awakened. So it’s not strictly possession but a world of future where modern humans lost to demons but were successful in saving the Earth by kinda terraforming it and introduced mana and other fantasy grade powers.
While all this was signalled in a single chapter where he dreamt of Professor and game character control it’s very likely that this is the true setting of the whole story as he is able to record the memories of his character and create an emotion based weapon. It’s a plot I have seen before and is not a bad plot per se.

This novel is good. Not great but not bad either.
No issues with the MC. I do really like the heroines in this one so far, that’s despite them being somewhat cliche.
I find it hilarious that the author is blatantly having the MC create Superhero gadgets and accessories like Iron Man’s Suit, or Spiderman’s webs.
Read up to the latest chapter(62), and I’d say the novel is pretty good. At least, it’s good enough to keep my attention for 62 chapters. I’d say that the obvious highlight is Sci-Fi tech in a fantasy world, but the flexibility of the MC’s skills is also interesting. No idea why the regret tag is there though.
Okay early review up to 9 chapters:
1. The regret is the fastest regret i saw in a novel, lol… Not worth the tag.
