This is just painful to read. The MC is a massive pushover just a step below Japanese wn MCs. Although he is an adult in his second life, he listens to the advice of a 5 year old little shit. If you like to be frustrated and angry while reading a novel, go for it.

So I won’t add too much to the above summaries to avoid spoilers, but have two major comments on this novel, one positive and one negative:
(1) Unlike a lot of novels I have read recently, this is very well paced. No need to skip 10 chapters at a time because nothing is happening. The plot moves along quickly. So, a big plus.
(2) The MC is among the most grotesquely dense MCs you will ever find. Its just not enjoyable to read. I hate when Korean light novels borrow from bad Japanese light novel tropes, especially the dense MC and the “I must hide my powers” tropes.

It’s a management and war type…. Idk those seem to get boring fast usually.
Short summary:
Duke takes Mc and her adopted sister in together after his mother’s death. Almost nobody accepts them. Years later when Mc’s engagement is decided his sister accidentally kills Mc’s brother who was drunk and attacking herself. Then she proceeds to kill everyone in the family so that Mc can be the successor. Mc inherits but Duke’s brothers and the kingdom doesn’t accept Mc’s succession. Then there’s war and probably later territory management.
As for romance Mc sees the girl as his sister while Chloe is trying to make him see as a woman so she doesn’t call him brother and etc. There’s also another duke’s daughter whose engagement is decided with Mc for now at least

As Jake Legatz said MC didn’t kill his brothers in this story it was the adopted sister who now works as his maid. She kills them so MC doesn’t need to marry the fiance. She pretty much messes up as she kills all the brothers along with their children who are still babies.
It’s pretty depressing for me.

I’m not good at explaining, but I’ll try to do it.
The MC’s adopted sister kills all the family members, so he can become a duke. She killed them because he got engaged to another girl (also a Yandere). She thought if he became a duke, he wouldn’t get married. To me, this novel is mid; maybe I have a broken taste because I read a lot of mtl novels. But how she kills them is quite funny.
