Genius Warlock chapter 2

Genius Warlock 2

2. The Chosen Child (2)

Monggle Mongle Mongle.

A black mass that looked like clay and smoke moved in the air following Oliver’s fingertips.

At first, it could only be made from a round mass of light, but in less than half a day, it could be made into triangles, squares, stars, donuts, and even human shapes.

Nevertheless, Oliver did not get tired of it, so he began to make the mass of light more complex and elaborate. Like cones, Mobius strips, and spider webs. It was like a child with a toy for the first time.

“Is it fun?”

asked Joseph, who was walking in the lead.

“Yeah, it’s going to be like this…. Incredible.”

Oliver replied with pure admiration. It looked gloomy because of his gloomy impression and his voice locked up, but the joy was sincere. I’m going to use this black light here. It was amazing again.

“You mean dealing with this light is black magic?”

“It’s not the light, it’s the emotion.”

“persimmon·····. affection?”

“Yes, anger, sadness, hatred . . . Dealing with those emotions is the basis of black magic. It may not seem like much, but it is a very powerful force. Emotions are a kind of energy that comes from the soul. It can be said that it is the same principle as the magic that comes out of the magic stone. By the way, you’re good at handling things, but your emotions aren’t that strong.”

“Yes?”

“As heard. Your feelings are small and humble. But it doesn’t matter. Because you can use someone else’s. That’s the norm.”

At those words, Oliver’s eyes lit up. It was as if the body had come back to life.

“Can you handle other people’s things? how?”

“It is not difficult. It’s like seeing your emotions and dealing with them now. Anyone can do it if they have enough talent. Think of it as similar to using the sixth sense, sense, and invisible muscles that transcend the five senses.”

Oliver frowned at the difficult words, but he instinctively realized one thing. that he has enough talent. It wasn’t grounded, but it was certain.

At that moment, Oliver’s hard brain began to creak in his imagination. The figure of himself handling a huge light rather than such a small light. Then, my cold heart began to warm up little by little.

In the same way, when you see delicious food, you salivate, and when you see a beautiful woman, you fall in love.

Oliver asked quietly.

“Could you teach me more? Black magic.”

Quiet but greedy Oliver’s eyes. Seeing those eyes, Joseph pondered for a moment before answering.

“that····. I’ll tell you more when I get home later.”

Oliver’s words came up to the end of his neck to tell him not to do that. It was a natural reaction because it was the first time in my life that I was interested.

However, when he saw Joseph, he used superhuman patience and swallowed the horse. There was only one reason: the light emanating from Joseph’s body.

A light that thunders when you are angry, a light that reverberates when you are sad, a light that trembles when you are afraid.

Oliver, who had seen this light since birth, used it to understand people’s moods and conditions to avoid anger at the crucial moment, but now realizes that if he doesn’t listen to Joseph, he won’t get what he wants.

Yes. Joseph wanted obedience. Noticing this, Oliver used his surviving knack to imitate the obedient livestock Joseph wanted.

He liked the attitude, and Joseph walked along the road with a small smile, while Oliver became a good boy and quietly followed behind him. However, even at that moment, Oliver did not shake his thoughts about black magic. No, I craved more greedily.

A considerable amount of time has passed since the last conversation, but Joseph and Oliver have not spoken a word. just quietly walking

From an objective point of view, walking on the road for a long time without getting in a car or train was not an arduous task, but Oliver didn’t really care.

Although he was still a child, he was already trained in hard labor, so just walking was like a walk. While walking there, he used his emotions to play his own games, so he wasn’t bored.

At best, it was all about using emotions to make multiple models faster and more complex, or moving them from right to left. But if it’s meaningless, it wasn’t.

Over time, as the frequency increased, I quickly mastered the basics of dealing with emotions. Oliver’s brain, which had hardened there, also began to awaken gradually.

Suddenly, Oliver thought. What can you do with this feeling?

Wouldn’t it be possible to change it to fit a specific use, rather than simply making it a figure? Like a mine’s pickaxe or a kitchen knife?

No, I didn’t know that maybe it could be recreated into something newer through processing rather than just light. I didn’t learn it, but my instinctive intuition said so.

In this way, Oliver unwittingly developed his understanding and imagination of black magic. And just as the first bud was about to unfold, Joseph’s voice was heard.

“Good. Is there an inn over there?”

Oliver, who had been buried in an imaginary laboratory, suddenly came to his senses and returned to reality.

When I looked up at the sky, night had already come, and a curtain was cast over the sky, and the streets and surrounding forests were colored black with darkness. The only light was a lonely inn in the distance.

Joseph turned to Oliver and said.

“Well, we are lucky. To meet an inn on such a remote street.”

Without hesitation, Joseph approached the inn. The cozy yellow light made me feel at ease just by approaching, but when I opened the door and entered, I was greeted with a warm warmth along with the fragrant smell of food.

“Oh, come on.”

The innkeeper greeted me and Joseph as if waiting.

A very large middle-aged man rubbed his hands with a flattering smile typical of a merchant.

“Thank you for coming. How many are you all?”

“It’s me and these two little boys. Do you have a room for the night?”

“Yes Yes. Of course not there. Come on, follow me.”

The owner politely bowed his head and led him into the room. On the way, I saw a restaurant, where there were three or four other guests besides Joseph and Oliver.

“Do you think the food looks delicious?”

Looking at the food on the guests’ tables, Joseph said. In fact, the meals the guests were eating looked quite delicious. Freshly baked bread, stew, cheese, and steamed meat with bones were rare in such a remote inn.

The owner smiled and replied.

“Thank you for the compliment. It’s kind of a sales strategy. As you can see, it is a remote inn, so it is difficult to receive guests. I can only deal with occasional passers-by or truck drivers… That’s why we’re increasing the number of customers by making the food delicious.”

“Right. It sure looks delicious. Do you think the chef is good?”

“Yes, that’s right. It’s all my wife’s work. It is operated by a total of five employees. Of course you’re going to eat, right?”

“Of course you should eat. But can we eat in the room? I want to eat quietly. I will give you more money.”

At that moment, the master’s facial muscles twitched slightly.

“ah·····. Yes, of course it is possible. Here is this room. Wait a minute and we’ll bring you your meal. Is there anything else you need?”

“No.”

“Yeah, then, for a moment…”

The owner hurriedly went down to the first floor, while Joseph and Oliver entered the room. asked Joseph as he took off his coat.

“What did the owner think? Are you kind?”

“uh····. I don’t know, but it was strange.”

“Cluckle. Also, right?”

Joseph laughed and said. Obviously, he seemed like a good innkeeper, but somehow it didn’t seem like his main job was that.

About 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. A strong man who appeared to be an employee brought food on a tray.

“The food is here.”

“Hey….”

Joseph marveled at the hearty food such as freshly baked bread, stew, and steamed meat. Joseph handed the clerk a generous tip, and the clerk grinned.

“I would appreciate it if you just put the empty bowl outside the door after you finish eating. If you need anything, please let me know.”

As the waitress went outside, Oliver and Joseph looked into each other’s eyes.

An hour later, an empty bowl and plate were brought out outside the door, and the owner, who saw it, gave an evil smile.

midnight.

Puck- in the inn room! puck-! A dull sound rang out. It sounded like hammering meat, almost half of the answers were correct.

Because meat is meat for humans.

“phew······.”

The innkeeper sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead. No, is it blood?

A guest of the inn was lying at his feet. He couldn’t see properly due to the darkness, but he had been slapped in the head with a hammer several times, so he was supposed to be quiet for a while.

“Turn it off. I won’t be able to do this any more in a few years.”

“Ah, what do you mean, master? This is how you corrected it. 20 more years to go.”

“Arthur. Arthur. In 20 years, how old will I be, and after I get older, I want to live a more dignified life. By the way, is this the end?”

“uh·····. no. There’s the last thing at the end of the hallway. A man and a child.”

“Oh right. who ate in the room. phew·····. I’m lucky today. Would you like to suffer a little more?”

“Aren’t you supposed to be awake?”

“That’s it, don’t worry. Because the food has been thoroughly cleaned. He licked it with his tongue, so he ate the sauce clean.”

“Ah, that’s nice. The atmosphere was bizarre, so I was worried for nothing…”

“Yeah, the kid in particular looked bad. Not a corpse.”

“What are those two? You didn’t look like a rich man, did you?”

“Well? Seeing that he has soot on his body, he must have been from a nearby coal mine. Workers, perverts who like children, and people who need lab rats come here from time to time.”

“Wow, that’s a bad thing.”

The innkeeper and his subordinate stood in front of the room where Joseph and Oliver were staying. The two waited for a while in front of the door as usual. They made eye contact with each other and spoke softly.

“one······.”

Nod.

“Double…”

Nod.

“Three-”

-bang! Kwajik! puck! puck!

As I was about to open the door and go inside, the door suddenly broke and something poured out. It was like a marble, but it was so instant that the inn staff fell down in surprise.

I woke up late, but all I could see was a broken door and the owner, covered in it, spread out.

He was lying on the floor, bleeding through his torso as if he had been shot.

What nonsense is this… Obviously there were no gunshots, but my heart was pounding and I was suffocating.

Then, with the sound of footsteps, someone walked out of the room. That was the guest. He looked down at the staff and said.

“one.”
