I’m the Demon King, but There Are Too Many Heroes chapter 60

I’m the Demon King, but There Are Too Many Heroes 60

060. The Enlightened Ugar

The Demon King’s Tower.

Towers, which were feared in the past, are no longer feared.

For the past few decades, the demon lords have been relatively quiet, only occasionally abducting the royal family, and no major conflicts have occurred.

The prince and princess could also be rescued relatively easily if humans made a decision and formed a heroic action or raid, so the principle of being comfortable with demon kings was spread throughout society.

Recently, as problems arose one after another, I started to be wary again, but, as always, greed eats everything.

A group of warriors and humans who hunted around the Geumgang Tower was formed like that.

Monsters attracted to magic gather around the Demon King’s Tower, so the warriors who want the by-products are flocking.

‘How funny to know the Demon King…’

Despite Drakson and Vivian’s work, this was a part that clearly showed the position of the Demon King.

Berger, who checked the surrounding landscape, sharpened his teeth. I asked Roselle, clearing her throat.

“What kind of place is the Geumgang Tower?”

“If you say you came to attack the tower, you’re not saying that you haven’t done any preliminary research, are you?”

“What I know is different from what Roselle Charter knows.”

“Now it seems that you feel my worth.”

I just wondered what the Tower of the Demon King was like from the standpoint of the warriors.

“From the point of view of going up to the 5th floor of the Geumgang Tower, it is quite annoying.”

“Are you annoying?”

“It’s a matter of compatibility.”

“understood.”

Ugar Belbek was a titan, a giant of the underworld. Naturally, so did the demons who followed him, and the demons preferred large and sloppy ones.

And in general, large-scale monsters have their physical abilities biased, and their physical abilities also include strong resistance.

The type that wizards hate the most.

“I don’t really like the Tower of the Geumgang River, but wouldn’t it be that the one who regrets it is digging a well?”

“What about the inside of the tower?”

“As it is now.”

The bumpy floor and rough rock walls, the monsters sprinkling their lives in between them.

“It’s Roselle Chartres.”

“There’s also Hillen Cargill.”

“Red Chloride Raid?”

The warriors who dealt with those monsters recognized Roselle and Hillen and chatted.

“But I also have a question.”

“what?”

“Is this raid leader Hillen Cargill or Pale you?”

Roselle’s one remaining eye gleamed.

“Of course it’s Hillen Cargill.”

“right? Normally, that’s normal…”

Healan Cargill, one of the ten stars at the very top, and Pale, who has surprisingly pure mana, but is not a warrior.

The answer was simple.

“But why do I feel like you?”

“Please don’t say anything weird. Roselle.”

Hillen interrupted the conversation.

“I am the leader of the Red Hawk raid.”

“Are you too low-key for something like that?”

“It’s because Fail-sama is not part of the raid. It’s just someone I’ve known for a long time.”

“Have you known each other for a long time? How did you know?”

“There is no reason to tell you that.”

“It’s expensive.”

“It is rude to keep doing this.”

“As a person goes through life, he can make excuses any number of times. And wouldn’t a few questions be far from enough compared to the trouble you caused in the Tower of the Beasts?”

“It’s fair to say that it is entirely my fault.”

“know. But I lost my eyes.”

“…the me back then and the me now are different.”

“You gulp two demon lords, but it should be different.”

Otherwise, I think I will not be able to live because I am embarrassed.

“Or the color of my lost eyes will become a dog death. is not it?”

“…for that matter, I apologize once again.”

“done. I didn’t expect Drakson to be that strong. And even if that’s not the case, what can you say to someone who has done their best but lacks ability?”

“It’s fun.”

Berge applauded.

“You can’t say anything after you’ve already done it. Shame is also a talent. I still feel lacking.”

“Are you sarcastic now?”

“It’s sincere.”

“I’m seriously sarcastic. Are you taking sides with the crayfish on the side?”

“I’m on everyone’s side. Now, we have decided to attack the Geumgang Tower together.”

“That’s right. After conquering the tower, I will lay the red carpet for the next more important task.”

Roselle grabbed the horse’s reins. The horse sprinted forward, and the Red Chloride Raid followed behind them.

“Make a straight path to the Geumgang Tower.”

“I take orders!”

A carpet was laid down to the entrance of the Geumgang Tower. Composed of the blood, corpses, and flames of monsters.

* * *

“The Red Chloride Raid is climbing the Geumgang Tower.”

Anyone can open the door to the tower.

But not everyone climbs to the top.

No matter how familiar the demons, demons, and monsters are, the pressure from the demon king and tower is completely different.

If you are not in a proper raid, you will not climb the tower.

Do not climb the tower unless you are brave.

That was the unwritten rule among the warriors.

Not to provoke the Demon King, but for their own lives.

Humans long for what they can’t do. Because of this, the entrance to the tower of the Red Chloride raid had to be a spectacle.

“Good.”

Hillen smiled.

“The interest of these people.”

“It is an instant when interest becomes evil. Just like when we couldn’t catch the Demon King of the Beasts at once.”

“I think all of these are fates that a hero must endure.”

Roselle ignored Hillen.

“So, can I just go in now? What floor is the target?”

“It is on the third floor.”

“I got it higher than I expected. Only at this level.”

Roselle’s gaze scanned the red hawk mercenaries. Bark flinched, but couldn’t resist.

The Red Falcon mercenaries and the Red Chloride raid had the same ‘red’ modifier, but there was a gap between the sky and the earth.

Berger blinked at Hillen. He strode forward and stood in front of the door.

“I will open it. Everyone, please be prepared for the demons.”

“What is on the first floor of the tower?”

“Why do you keep asking? Am I your guide?”

“It was you who called yourself a guide.”

“I’m not a guide, I’m a debtor. It’s a mile troll.”

The Mile Troll was a similar case to Croutoo. Those who regained some of their original form when the Demon King gave away some of the magic to use the monsters.

However, compared to Croutu because of the low level of Magi, it was infinitely insufficient.

Even though that alone doesn’t compare to a normal troll.

profit-

Hillen pulled the Auror up and opened the huge door.

The interior was revealed with a harsh noise.

It was the first thing that greeted them.

“…the mile trolls look like this these days.”

“Who is this again?”

It was a woman lying on a towering rock.

With his pale complexion, his eyes closed as if dead.

* * *

It was funny.

First floor. Behind the door wasn’t the mile troll that Roselle Charter said, nor the numerous monsters to protect the tower.

A towering rock and a princess with her eyes closed on it.

“…Elena.”

It was the target that Berger had to save.

Ernian’s voice trembled. He stretched his trembling hand forward.

Berge forcibly lowered her hand and whispered.

“Don’t get excited.”

“···I’m sorry.”

“Is that Elena?”

“Right. Why are you here…”

Should I say Ugar?

If I didn’t leave Elena on the 3rd floor, I told her to take care of the rest of the work, but I left it at the entrance.

He’s always beyond imagination.

“What is that woman? Why is the tower structure like this?”

Roselle Charter exclaimed.

“It’s a princess.”

“Princess?”

Hillen, who had already heard from Berge about the agreement between the Demon Lords, said.

“The 13th Princess of Hilderan. This is Elena Hilderan.”

“Is that Elena? this is funny Are you saying that the Demon King of the Geum River is suddenly trying to imitate the Demon King of the frigid cold?”

“I will save you.”

At Berge’s glance, Hillen Cargill rushed forward. The quick-witted Granada followed the red hawk.

“Yes, you save the princess. We will do something else.”

Behind the rock where the princess lay.

The princess was distracted and unnoticed, but behind him were over a thousand mile trolls growling with their teeth exposed.

“Kill them all!”

The Red Chloride Raid rushed towards the Mile Trolls.

Berge and Ernyan arrived at the rock wall one step late.

“How is it?”

“The breathing is weak, but relatively stable.”

“Granada. Go and help Roselle.”

“Yes.”

Granada led the red hawk and threw herself into a brawl.

Only four were left on the rock wall with a view of the first floor.

“Healan Cargill. Did you know that princesses are like this?”

“Yes. I’ve only met you once. It wasn’t up to that point back then…”

“I was hiding as much as possible using artifacts. It must have been difficult for even the warriors to know.”

“It really is.”

‘Do you know the magic of the world tree Ai?’

Ernya’s whispers float through my mind.

Elena Hilderan’s complexion was pale.

His vitality was so weak that it would not be strange if he died right away.

“As you say.”

“···yes.”

However.

inside her.

There was a lot of mana running around. A terrifyingly large amount.

“Ira of the World Tree.”

Humans always want a lot. The more you have, the more you want.

That’s how the magic of the world tree Ai was created.

Just as the fruit from the tree called the World Tree is a noble elixir, a magic that makes born humans more perfect.

Reinforcing humans artificially from the fetus.

The word “strengthening” is more appropriate than magic.

That is the child of the world tree.

At first glance, it was a tremendous amount of magic, but magic made by imperfect humans could not be perfect.

Hilderan’s royal family was the proof. Elena Hilderan was that witness.

“Hillen, you take care of yourself. You have to be the one who saved the princess.”

“Yes.”

“Please be careful. He is a weak child.”

“I will.”

Hillen gently hugged Elena. Until then, she couldn’t open her eyes.

At the orange light, Berge turned his head. A hot flame flashed wherever his gaze reached. No, it was a sea of fire wherever he looked.

“Hey hahahahaha!”

In the distance, Roselle Charter’s madness was heard.

“The fire spreads all the way here!”

“Crazy, avoid it!”

I could see the Red Chloride Raid Team roaming the battlefield together in the flames, and the Red Falcon mercenaries scattered all over the place to avoid the flames.

“…you sure are crazy.”

I knew it from the first time I saw it, but it was still different. I hope the whole floor is set on fire.

“Ugar is going to feel a little sick.”

Berge gave up while calculating the Magi points to restore the facilities on the first floor that had been burned down with the dead Mile Trolls.

I didn’t have to do it. Because that damage is not Berge’s share.

* * *

“···what?”

Ugar reported that the warriors had entered the tower.

But that was it.

It was surprising that Roselle Charter and Hillen Cargill moved together, but as promised, Hilderan’s 13 Princesses were placed on the first floor.

In the most appropriate place so that you can see it when you open the door. All I had to do was save her and disappear.

Well.

“Burn the entire first floor!”

Over a thousand mile trolls were wiped out.

The environment that the trolls had created to fight well was burned down.

“Berze, this dog is really!”

The fertility and growth rate of trolls is one of the best among monsters, so it is relatively easy to supply and demand mile trolls, but there are thousands of them.

At the thought of restoring the first floor, my anger grew.

“If I put it on the third floor, it would have been a disaster.”

Goosebumps arose at the worst family that never happened. He admired his foresight.

Then suddenly.

“By the way···.”

I felt strange.

“Roselle Chartres and Hillen Cargill are here?”

Was it Roselle Chartres and Hillen Cargill who killed Draxon?

Is this a coincidence?

“…it is a coincidence.”

Even thinking about it himself, he snorted out of absurdity.

“Draxon died because he killed the second prince of Ormus.”

Roselle Chartres took on the role of captain because Ballaf Thissrod gave up and was competing with Hillen Cargill for the top of the frigid cold until just before.

“There may have been a relationship between the two of them.”

Hillen Cargill was a warrior from Hilderan. It was not strange that he came to rescue the 13th Princess.

“···However.”

Ugar murmured anxiously. The questions I was trying to get over came to mind again.

“Draxon said it wasn’t his fault. Someone said that they sent high-level demons.”

He complained of his injustice by leaving even an unreasonable number of people who searched the records of the tower.

What if his words were true and everything was planned by someone?

And what if that someone is the Demon King?

“…Jason Cockmundo.”

he didn’t Reina Sordain isn’t like that. And there are no advanced demons in Berge Deias.

‘It’s not like there isn’t…’

The tower’s lieutenant never leaves the tower.

“And there is no way Berge Deias, who is now only a year old, has a connection with the Heroes of the Stars. Obviously someone helped.”

And there was only one person who could help the Demon King and connect him with the Hero.

The Demon Lord of Lies, Jason Cockmundo.

‘Oh My God···.’

Ugar shut his mouth.

‘It’s Jason. Jason instigated the warriors to kill Draxon.’

But why?

That day, Ugar could not sleep.

Their conclusion are all wrong but it is funny to see Ugar only realizing the possibility just now, when all the other have thought of it ages ago.
