I’m the Sub Male Lead in Romance Fantasy, but I Don’t Like the Female Lead chapter 8

8 - To the Academy

8 – To the Academy

“Let go of this!”

Cordelia did her best to shake off my hand. However, she could not control her trained body with the thin arms of an aristocratic young lady. She grunted a few times and then jerked back to me.

“Who are you to get involved in this?”

“Lady Deneb, for now, we are in front of Her Highness the Crown Prince. Keep your body tight.”

I tightened her grip on her wrist. I didn’t want to leave marks, so I adjusted my strength moderately.

“Profit! Okay, so let go of this!”

Cordelia tried several more times, but of course all attempts went to nothing. Then she huffed and lowered her arms, which she had lifted. I also loosened my hands.

How should I deal with this situation? Hearing Hestia’s screams, without thinking about what happened next, her body moved first, so it was a headache. Perhaps she also had a reaction from her body that she didn’t want Lily to get hurt. Where is the male lead who only watches the female lead getting beaten up?

Wilhelm… I don’t know what he’s thinking. Why did you stay still

“Miss Cordelia, calm down for now.”

Hestia, who had been watching from behind, took a step forward.

“Hestia? Why are you here…”

“Hestia is also a freshman. Is there any reason she can’t attend?”

At my reply, Cordelia’s eyes widened to the size of a bell.

“Then you are that ignorant dumbass?”

Harsh words came out of Cordelia’s mouth. You’re a dumb dumb. She’s a perfect fit for Mikhail, but not something she’d say to someone she’s seeing for the first time. Wouldn’t it be better for her and her family if this woman had her mouth shut?

“What?”

“Aagh! Miss Cordelia! Quiet! Please be quiet!”

Hestia was startled and covered her Cordelia’s mouth. I see You thought I was a dumb dumb. To be honest, the stupid dumb they say is not me now, so it doesn’t really matter. Still, if you catch this number, it’s human nature to pick out the mulberry somehow.

“Hestia, see you later.”

“Yes…”

I honestly don’t think Hestia should be sorry, but she doesn’t think so. Looking at the reactions of the people around her, it seems to be true that Mikhail was only cold towards her.

“So, what happened? Cordelia?”

“Wilhelm…!”

“There are many eyes to see. And you don’t think we’re close enough to call each other by name?”

Wilhelm, who had been staring at Lily with his hands behind his back, stepped forward. He glanced at me with disgruntled eyes. What the hell is that bastard doing now?

“Ugh. His Highness the Crown Prince…”

Cordelia corrected her title. She grinded her teeth. She seems to have accumulated quite a lot of things from Wilhelm.

Cordelia’s gaze toward him was cold. Since it is the gaze looking at the cheating ex, there is not even a hint of regret or love and hatred toward him. He looks like he really wants to kill him. Were they not on good terms in the first place?

“Cordelia. In front of me, I asked what kind of ugliness this is.”

“But that b*tch told me first…”

At Wilhelm’s question, Cordelia’s voice creeps in as if her head has cooled down a bit now. It seems that it is only now that I feel the realization that I made such a fuss in front of so many people.

“Stop making excuses!”

Interrupting Cordelia, Wilhelm let out her lion’s roar. It’s a surprise. Why are you suddenly screaming?

“Did you think it would go well even after severely insulting and violently insulting other students on the eve of the festival!”

Cordelia did not respond to Wilhelm’s reprimand and lowered her head. Even if she opens her mouth now, it will only backfire, so it is a rather wise choice.

From his point of view, it’s like an ex-lover who broke up badly is fighting a woman he’s flirting with. Would be very angry

But now that I think about it, is it right for Ji to turn her eyes to another woman and kick her one-sidedly and be angry? Besides, the map didn’t do anything. It’s just the incarnation of Naero Nambul.

“Miss Cordelia…”

Hestia looked at Cordelia pitifully. The two seem to be friends. Seeing as he even asked me for a request that he hadn’t asked me in his life, they might be quite close friends. Considering that Hestia or Cordelia are not normal personalities, this kind of friendship is more precious.

“I will definitely block your admission. For a violent and impatient student like you to enter the academy, it will greatly adversely affect the academic atmosphere.”

“Your Highness!”

Despair spreads across Cordelia’s expression at Wilhelm’s words. Graduating anyone of her nobility and failing to even enter her academy will shackle her with heavy shackles in her life.

No, but is it possible for the crown prince, not the emperor, to cancel the princess’s admission to the imperial academy? With what ability?

The eyes of the crowd surrounding her Cordelia all turn toward her. In fact, her admission is not something I know. Rather, I was feeling a little thrilled by this situation in which a woman who tried to inflict violence on Lily collapsed.

“Your Highness the Crown Prince. Why don’t you stop at this point?”

So we set out. I stopped the prince from swearing at Cordelia.

I hate it when someone who sent me into this world or the world itself shakes my emotions. I did the opposite of what I had in mind.

Moreover, Hestia is on the verge of crying after hearing about Cordelia’s cancellation of admission. I don’t like Cordelia very much, but I hate Hestia’s sorrow more than that. She didn’t want to let it go, even though it could be prevented. And when she’s not like this, I’ll score her on her.

“Mikhail. It has nothing to do with you. I mean, you don’t dare intervene.”

“Your Highness. Of course, her words and actions were atrocious, but she was not actually violent.”

“Mikhail!”

“Cancellation of admission is an excessive measure.”

Wilhelm looked at me with furious eyes. Considering what I glared at earlier, it seems that I completely ruined what he was aiming for.

“I will not tolerate any more rudeness. Back off.”

Wilhelm gritted his teeth. Earlier, Cordelia was also grinding her teeth, but when the two of them get older, she wonders if she wants to get along with her dentures.

Me and Wilhelm’s eyes collide in the air. Neither averts their eyes.

Do it yourself. Could it be that something like this will harm me? At most, he would be scolded by the Grand Duke and his wife a little. Everyone thinks of the prince’s authority and adjusts to him, but in principle, all students entering the academy are equal. I don’t know what to do to cancel Cordelia’s admission, but even I, who didn’t do anything particularly wrong, couldn’t be cut off.

If admission is cancelled, just don’t go. If it’s an academy that cuts off two freshmen because of personal anger, this side will refuse. I’m a bit sorry for Hestia, but she plans to visit me on the weekend and pray for me until she forgives me.

“Are you sure you won’t back down?”

“Your Highness. I am okay. You don’t have to cancel Lady Cordelia’s admission.”

Lily grabbed Wilhelm’s wrist as he couldn’t control his anger and was about to come toward me. He turned to Lily. The two exchanged glances several times.

“Hmm. The victim also said this, so let’s leave this matter unresolved. But act so that this never happens again. My excitement is broken. Goes.”

After flirting with Lily, as if they were exchanging telepathy, Wilhelm spat out lines like the final boss and left the auditorium. Lily followed closely behind him.

Which main character would spit out lines like that? Is this a ropan sensibility? I knew at first glance that tyrant characters were popular, but that was just a kid with middle school disease.

As Wilhelm and Lily disappeared, the gathered crowd left their seats one by one. The fight is over. They will probably gather in groups of threes and threes and cubate about what just happened.

Only the center of the turmoil was left in place. Me, Hestia, and Cordelia.

Cordelia, who stood there blankly for a while, finally came to her senses and screamed.

“Ah! Those bastards are real!”

Actually, I don’t think I’ve been sober. The first thing I said in this situation was Lily and Wilhelm’s swear words. If you look at her, the more you look at her, the more amazing she is.

How on earth are you friends with Hestia? I’ve heard that people are attracted to people who are the opposite of each other, but does it apply to this extreme case?

“Thank you. For helping me I am Cordelia von Deneb.”

Cordelia swore several times into the air. She then said goodbye to me as if she had lost all her temper. She is a woman with very messed up priorities.

“Nice to meet you. Your first impression is impressive. It is a shameless mute.”

Earlier, she teased me with her spit words. She is embarrassed, knowing that she too is ashamed.

“That’s it!”

“Just kidding. My name is Mikhail von Sirius.”

“I’m sorry. What you said earlier was a mistake, so please forget it.”

Still, I know how to apologize. There are a lot of hot-tempered people with anger control disorder, but it doesn’t seem to be a rare case.

“Miss Cordelia!”

“Hestia!”

As soon as Cordelia and I finished greeting each other, Hestia rushed at Cordelia.

“Miss Cordelia! Why did you act so wildly? Like I always said. Miss Cordelia is so impatient with her personality that she thinks twice before doing anything…”

“Hestia. I’m reflecting, so stop nagging me. I haven’t seen you in a while, aren’t you glad to see me?”

Cordelia gently stroked Hestia’s hair. Although Hestia was not short by any means, Cordelia was tall enough that she could naturally be held in her arms. I wonder if she is about 170cm. She seems to see good sisters.

Cordelia’s hair was very red, representing, to put it mildly, her hot temper. Contrasting with the pure white Hestia’s silver hair, it looks more reddish.

“So can you explain what happened, Lady Deneb.”

I asked Cordelia to explain her situation. It wasn’t a Pokemon battle, and it wasn’t a fight as soon as our eyes met, so I wanted to hear the whole story.

“Just Cordelia is enough. If she’s going to enter the academy, isn’t she the same age as you?”

“No. I think Lady Deneb would be more comfortable.”

I came forward because of Hestia’s tears and a sense of resistance to the situation where my emotions were manipulated, but I have no particular desire to get close to Cordelia.

This woman has an overly fiery temper. When she’s around, she’s sure to get tired. It’s comforting to just distance yourself with the feeling of being a friend of her friend.

So she decided to just hit the iron wall.

“Hmm. Well, it doesn’t matter if you call it that if you’re comfortable with it. Then can I let go?”

“No.”

“Sheesh. You are fussy.”

Are you thinking of letting go of yourself in this situation? My head is more like a flower garden than I thought. The iron wall needs to be made stronger.

She is, of course, pretty as she was the fiancée of the crown prince, but she is no good for Hestia anyway. Like Lily, she is not subject to correction by the main character, and she has no intention of being swayed around by a woman.

Cordelia clicked her tongue slightly and then began to explain the situation.

“It was when I was drinking alone.”

“Miss Cordelia! I told you to cut back on your drinking.”

“Oh, okay. How do you think you nag more than my mother?”

As soon as Cordelia talked about her drinking, Hestia poured out all her nagging. It’s the first time I see something like that. In front of her friends, she looks different again.

“Anyway, I was drinking alone when Lady Adamas approached me. Then she whispered to me how it would feel to be drinking and sipping alone after her fiancé was taken away by her baroness…”

“Wait a minute. You mean Lady Adamas?”

I am dumbfounded by Cordelia’s shocking statement. You say Lily hit the floor first?

So, are all the bright, cheerful, and heroine-like images that were shown in front of us all lies?

“Yes. That foxy girl did that to me. Stupid Wilhelm doesn’t even know that, and he’s doing helllele.”

In Cordelia’s mouth, an insult to the imperial family that was worse than mine came out, but Hestia doesn’t seem to be in the mood to point it out.

Certainly, if she’s telling the truth, her eyes are flipped and she’s going to run amok. She is completely foxless. I heard that active and leading female protagonists are popular these days, but is that active and leading action for her? Cosplaying as a victim after secretly provoking someone. Is such a main character really popular? There is no such thing as the last days.

“This is really too much. I didn’t see him as that kind of person, but I misunderstood him.”

Hestia is already burning her anger towards Lily.

I asked the two of them what I had been curious about since before.

“Then why did Lady Adamas forgive Lady Deneb?”

As soon as Cordelia was told that this case was Lily’s advance, she continued to worry. If she is a first-timer, why is she increasing the number of people who know about it?

“Isn’t that because of image management?”

“No Hestia. If it was for image management, it would have prevented us from being with Lady Deneb.”

You don’t have to go through such a complicated process for your good image. Nor should we be left aside in order to plunge Cordelia’s image into an abyss. We, who have learned all the circumstances, will actively explain.

For Lily, her best outcome is simply to have Cordelia revoked and have no further involvement with her.

There is no reason to leave her behind. This situation makes it seem like she wants us to know about her.

“Maybe I just didn’t think about it?’

Cordelia introduced herself. Have no idea

She cursed that she was a foxy girl just a moment ago, but she seems to have forgotten about it.

She then began chatting happily with Hestia.

But after that, I continued to spend time thinking about this and that. I just can’t seem to focus on playing.

Lily looks different from the outside. She left her Cordelia as if she wanted us to know.

And her body’s violent reaction towards her.

Like that, the eve ended with me full of questions. After coming to this world, only questions continue to increase. I hope someone can give me some hints.

Most of shoujo romance fantasy are like that regardless of being a game or novel, you know…the poor commoner or low noble kind girl gets all the bois with high status at the academy and their fiancees turn into villainess.

  2. Atra says:

    Romance fantasy = Ropan

It’s a typical fantasy novel/manhwa but with a female as a main protagonist. And as you know, almost all of them always have several men attracted to the main character (you can also call it a reverse harem). So, yeah… it look similar like otome games…

  3. Apollon CK Apollon CK says:

A lot of Otome are romance fantasy.

  4. Is this really a romance fantasy? So far it just looks like an otome game
