121 – Final Thoughts.

It’s your favorite dung heap game’s final boss, Deus Machina, along with the possibly one-set author, Makima.
“Time Stop Spectacles” has completed its 120 episodes in half a year.
Finishing a work is both joyful and regretful.
There are still many untold stories, so I may have to continue with side stories, but it’s always a fresh experience!
I truly thank all the readers who have been on this journey with me.

Finally, I can reveal some stories that were hard to consume in the main text.
Q. What motivated you to create this work?
Whether it was due to fading memory or some random thought, it’s all a bit fuzzy now.
Was it while watching highlights of Bleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War?
Or maybe while feeling frustrated watching Chainsaw Man anime.
Whatever the reason, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist doesn’t suffer too much, like a super-munchkin with powers activated, slashing swords, unfolding territories, becoming a super psychic, I just wanted something cool to happen once the abilities were triggered.
Originally, the author wanted to write scenes like these more than the ending of a story.
Highlights come to mind first.
If I had to pick, the scene where the protagonist of this novel, who is a super-munchkin, obliterates the mid-boss in one strike was the driving force that started this novel.
I considered attending a fantasy genre academy (it seemed like it would sell better), but it seemed more fitting to set it in a Japanese-style high school.
I haven’t seen any novels in the domestic web novel market where the protagonist attends a Japanese high school and battles ghosts with an opened sword.
I don’t think there will be any coming out in the future.
I’m not sure if the style is distinctive, but I ended up writing this novel thinking it would be a more enjoyable time for those who like it.
If it were a fantasy or a Korean high school-academy setting, it would be difficult to parody anime like Bleach, Gintama, or Suzumi.
That’s how “I became a time-stopping Sillnecae” came to be.
Q. So, is it a harem? What about side stories? Other characters?
Although it’s not an official Q&A time, I feel like a response should be prepared because somehow it feels like the establishment of a centered route for Sento at the ending.
Yes, for now, it’s a harem.
The character emphasis may vary, but I plan to continue using Ticataka.
As each character (except for Lin) becomes an adult, there may be desirable changes in the development.
There will be a side story dealing with the harem king Ichimaru Shiki’s political struggle.
The side story titles will be “Ichimaru’s Circumstances,” “Some Magic Meteor Strike,” and “Kenichi Still Wields His Sword Today.”
At least these three parts seem like they will be written.
In terms of episodes, roughly around 30 episodes will be written.
For the side story, since it will be free episodes, I plan to write as much as I can on that day, so please do not have high expectations.

After posting a few future talks (about 5 episodes), I will take a break for two weeks and then come back.
I think the side story will be serialized for about a month, and I hope it will be a daily serialization at that time.

Q. Personally, what was the most difficult part?
Surprisingly, I tend to have a rough idea of the plot for each episode and had already thought about the ending by the time I was serializing episode 40.
Let’s finish it by episodes 120-150.
Since it was structured to face each episode boss, it was easy to organize.
I felt like it would neatly fall into place, so I had already thought about it by then.
So, after completing the main story and serializing the side story, wouldn’t it be nice to prepare for a contest?
Everyone’s plans are grand and perfect, right?
From June to August, I caught a summer cold (?) every other week, which was a challenging situation even for me, the suffering party.
(It felt like suddenly becoming a frail sickly girl, so it wasn’t easy to make an announcement.)
The most challenging part of developing the work was when the deus ex machina first appeared in the story.
From episode 55 “Development” to episode 58 “Long Dream.”
Even as I was writing, the content was more despairing than the original imagination in my head, making it not easy to write.
Especially in episode 57 “Ichimaru Shiki,” how should I cover the part where even the parents die?!
It happened to overlap with the university exam period, and on that day, I wrote 15,000 characters with my head squeezed.
I thought I was going to die, and ultimately, I think I wrote it not too badly, but it seems like the rhythm got a bit disrupted at that time.
I had been running without a break until then, but once I took a break, I kept getting tired and my body started to ache.
Usually, you should feel better after resting… But if I were to write the next piece, I should aim not to rest.
Since it turned into a serial just before completion…
Still, I feel like I was able to reach this point, even if slowly, by making completing it a life goal.
Instead of giving myself the joy of completion, I would like to give the honor to the readers who followed along until the very end.
