Magic poison.

It is a poison that penetrates through the magic of a superhuman, and it is a deadly poison that gradually hardens the organs inside the body. Also, there is currently no cure for that magical poison.

In the first place, the monsters in the dimensional dungeon that spewed out the poison have long since disappeared, and, moreover, all the superhumans who have penetrated the poison are already dead.

And that magical poison was now infiltrating his body.

“It was a long time ago. Healing was impossible, but Riella-nim and the sage Choi Joong-won took care of me, so I was able to live this long.”

He looked at Ha-joon and smiled slightly bitterly.

Ha-jun scratched his cheek in embarrassment as if he had done something absurd without realizing it. Surely a person who will die in two weeks has any greed in politics?

This one is for that lil chicken owl

Now, Riella, she seemed to understand why she made such a favor.

He showed a kind smile and opened his mouth to Ha-jun as if he was caring for Ha-jun.

“You don’t have to worry too much. It was a fact I had known for a long time anyway, so I had a very rewarding life.”

“… … .”

At those words, Ha-jun shut his mouth a little in embarrassment.

He said he didn’t really care, but he did feel a little bit stale. Ha-jun turned his gaze to him with an indifferent heart and looked at the beach blankly.

The sun was shining, but a cool breeze was blowing and it felt like a little bit of heat was blown away. However, in such a situation, Ha-jun felt a little strange.

It was because the sense of embarrassment gradually disappeared and a stable calm came to my heart.

When he was puzzled by the bizarreness, Ha-jun was finally able to find out the cause.

“Maybe this… … .”

“It’s my ability. It’s completely useless in battle, but it’s the ability to calm people’s emotions and calm them down.”

Literally, it was a support-type ability like Yuseol or Isabella Heights in the US.

He said it was useless, but there were many uses for this ability.

Powers like mind control or hallucinations won’t work because of his powers.

‘Still, it seems he wasn’t just a porter.’

In fact, he was a porter with the great heroes of the past, so his abilities were not difficult to predict.

“Student Ha-jun.”

“Yes?”

“It looks like a fish biting the bait.”

Then he suddenly pointed to the fishing rod and opened his mouth.

I don’t know for sure when, but the fishing rod was shaking.

Ha-jun immediately picked up the fishing rod that was hung on the cradle and turned the handle.

The moment he saw the fish rising to the surface, he opened his mouth with a smile on his lips.

“Huh, that’s a big deal.”

* * *

After spending some time enjoying fishing for a while, the sun in the sky set and the dark night came.

He slowly got up from his seat and said to Ha-jun.

“I’m slowly getting hungry, so I’ll have to make something.”

With that horse, he took the fish he had caught and headed for the sink inside the yacht.

Well, is there anything I can do to help? Ha-jun tried to follow him to the sink, but he waved his hand and said it was okay, so Ha-jun sat down on a chair again and decided to enjoy night fishing.

so after a few minutes.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve used my strength. Fortunately, it did not rust.”

An unexpected banquet came out.

Hajun opened his mouth, looking at the set table.

“Did you know how to cook?”

At that, he opened his mouth with a smirk.

“Because I was a porter. At that time, I was responsible for all their meals.”

It was as if he proudly replied that it was his strength.

After eating like that, the two of them enjoyed fishing again and stared blankly at the night sky.

The view of the sea, as if touching the countless stars that appeared in the dark night sky, was truly a beautiful night view.

Hajun looked at the scenery for a moment without saying a word.

Then he smiled and opened his mouth to Hajun in a calm tone.

“It is still a beautiful sight. The reason I enjoy fishing is also because of that night view. The night view from the sea is surprisingly not bad.”

“Yes, it looks good.”

Ha-jun replied as if agreeing to his words.

The only thing he did when he got out on the sea on a yacht was fishing and looking at the scenery, but Ha-jun somehow liked the quiet atmosphere.

As Riella said, who recommended this quest, it was rather comfortable.

“Student Ha-jun.”

At that time, Taehwan Han opened his mouth to Hajun, staring blankly at the scenery of the sea.

Hajun turned his head to look at him and answered.

“Yes?”

“Thank you for granting this old man’s wish.”

With a light smile, he opened his mouth to Hajun.

At his words, Hajun shook his head and opened his mouth.

“No, that’s fine.”

Rather, Hajun was only grateful.

It felt like a real rest after a long time.

In response to Hajun’s answer, he continued with a small smile.

“I have been watching Hajun’s progress for a long time. It was like seeing the great heroes of the old days.”

As if reminiscing on the past, he looked blankly at the night sea and continued speaking.

“It’s not easy to act even though you know you might die.”

In the past, magical powers were created and superhuman beings that were out of human standards were created, and at the same time, mysterious gates called dimensional dungeons were opened in various parts of the world.

Countless monsters poured through the gates of that dimension dungeon, and an era of great chaos was opened. In such a chaos, the superhumans who attacked the dimensional dungeon for the first time appeared.

“I will never forget that feeling when they first attacked the dimensional dungeon.”

The dimensional dungeon was unknown.

It took the lives of many people.

Entering such a dimensional dungeon by oneself was no different from suicide at that time.

But they went in on their own.

Then he entered the dungeon by himself and closed the gate.

The beings who became people’s hope in a desperate situation at that time.

These were the heroes who came to be called great heroes in the present.

“So I chose it. Despite many people’s disapproval, I will follow them. I knew I could die, but I wanted to help them. In the end, it was a choice I will not regret. It made me proud.”

He continued to speak with a happy smile.

“And I feel the same emotions I felt at that time for Ha Jun. Watching cadet Ha-Jun’s steps made my heart race for an age. Just as I was helpful to the great heroes in the past, I thought that I would like to be of help to Ha Jun. However… … .”

He continued speaking with a bitter smile on his lips and those words.

“I don’t think it will be of much help as I have a few days left to live. That’s a bit sad.”

“It was helpful enough. and… … .”

After that, Ha-jun thought about him.

We had only met for a few hours, and we hadn’t talked much, but Ha-jun seemed to understand why they liked him.

After talking with him for a few words, a certain person came to mind.

Hajun looked at him and replied with a smirk.

“You look like Principal Choi Joong-won.”

As soon as he said those words, his eyes widened and began to shake.

Astonished by Ha-jun’s answer, he slowly lowered his head and began to embrace a warm smile.

He looked down at the floor for a moment with eyes wet with happiness, then slowly opened his mouth.

“really… … , from what I’ve been hearing… … .”

A drop of transparent tears ran down his cheeks and fell to the floor from the corners of his eyes.

“It was the happiest horse.”

the next morning.

After arriving at the port with him, Ha-jun headed back to Lokia Academy in the car of the bodyguard who met Rep. Han Tae-hwan.

Of course, I was going to go by car on my own, but when he said that he would take me, I did not refuse and decided to get a favor.

When he arrived at the academy, he got into the car and asked for a handshake while looking at Ha-jun.

“Thank you for accepting this request.”

“I was able to rest comfortably thanks to you.”

To be honest, I only had one day off, but I felt really comfortable.

Should I say that it feels like a month off?

I thought that maybe this part was thanks to his ability.

So Ha-jun politely thanked him.

At those words, Han Tae-hwan left a sympathetic message with a benevolent smile.

“I wish you all the best in the future, cadet Ha Jun. Then come on.”

It was Han Tae-hwan who got into the car again with those words.

Ha-jun asked him a question out of curiosity before the car left.

“How are you going for two weeks?”

After thinking about something for a moment, he answered in a calm tone.

“This week, I plan to travel alone. And from next week, I plan to spend time with my family.”

“I wish you a pleasant trip.”

“Huhu, thank you.”

The last time he said those words, the car he was riding in left, and Ha-jun looked back at the car that was leaving for a moment.

It was only 1 night and 2 days off, but it was not a bad break.

Besides, I think I found a hobby.

“Shall I buy you a fishing rod?”

With those words, Ha-jun walked through the academy’s front door with a light smile.

and a few days later.

Upon hearing that he had been attacked by a villain, Ha-jun headed to the scene.

* * *

Inside an abandoned factory full of darkness.

There, a man exhaling a cloud of smoke broke through the roof and landed on the floor and began to look around.

“what? That’s weird… … ?”

The man’s name is Taejoon Lee.

He was a man called Smokeman, a Korean S-class villain.

The man looked around and felt a sense of popularity and turned his head in that direction. There, he was approaching three male Smokemen who radiated magical powers similar to or equal to his own.

Smokeman Lee Tae-jun opened his mouth with a sullen smile, looking at the three men, exactly the same S-class villains.

“Did you notice it too?”

“It’s Smokeman.”

An S-class villain who committed large-scale terrorism in Korea in the past.

They were the expunger Yoon Hee-an, the madman Shin Do-hyeon, and Sadok Lee Sa-cheol, respectively.

They looked at Smokeman Lee Tae-jun and asked fiercely.

“Hey, where’s the matter?”

“I thought he was dead… … .”

The reason the four men gathered in one place was because they felt the energy of Sarn, who had formed the Villain Union in the past. Only Sarn was able to elaborately send magical energy so that only they could notice.

However, when I came to the place, I didn’t see the issue.

Hee-an Yoon, an S-class villain who noticed the strangeness, opened her mouth.

“Something is strange, maybe the association induced it?”

“impossible. Saran, his magic is not something that can be easily manipulated.”

“More than that… … , it’s annoying that the person in question doesn’t show up after calling.”

“… … for a moment.”

That was then.

Whoops!

In an instant, a powerful magical energy descended on the four of them.

In an instant, their faces all hardened violently, and they began to raise their heads in the direction from which the magic was spewed.

There, a man floated in the air and looked down at them, the S-class villains.

“Okay, it’s you guys.”

He said.

It was a calmly subdued voice, but there was an indescribable energy of magical power in that voice.

“The guys the matter was talking about.”

  1. MrPojsomnoj says:

Matter = Saran. I don’t feel like events in the novel are connected. Kinda like reading 5 different novels. We have mc the Dwarf King(main plot?), mc za warudo, Anna, sword king boy(what his arc is btw?), Liam and dragon girl(their arc have no impact at all), Hannah(too little screen time). I’m suprised how little impact characters have on each other.
