The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me chapter 44

The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me 44

“Nonsense…”

By the time Frey had just lost consciousness on the top floor of the commoners’ dormitory, Irina had witnessed the consequences firsthand and was in shock.

“…Really, did you say that you were the mediator yourself?”

According to Irina’s theory, in order to destroy the magic circle drawn inside the commoners’ dormitory, it was essential to install a ‘mediator’ in which mana was concentrated in the center of the magic circle.

Only then, by concentrating a large amount of mana in the medium and then releasing it all at once, it was possible to shatter the structure of the magic circle drawn with thick magic.

Of course, there is also a standard way to do the magic circles in the order they were drawn.

However, in the urgent situation at the time, if the standard method was used, the magic circle would have been activated, so there would have been no choice but to use the magic circle.

However, there are significant risks in this method as it does not follow the standard Haeju method.

that…

“…Stand, are you dead? Frey?”

Irina, who was immersed in thought while staring blankly at Frey, came to her senses for a moment when she heard the voice of Perloche in front of her.

“Hey, over there? Mr. Manny?”

Perloche was stabbing Frey with a slightly terrified expression.

“…Perloche.”

“Hey!?”

Perloche, who continued to poke Frey with her finger, screamed in shock when Clana grabbed her by the shoulder from behind.

“Fray, he’s fainting now.”

“Oh, I see.”

At that, Ferroche withdrew with a complicated expression, but Clana was still looking down at Frey.

– Pajik…

Soon, a small golden flash of light began to circulate in Clana’s hand.

“…Ugh.”

Seeing the scene, Ferroche began to make a hopeful expression, while Clana began to approach Frey with a firm expression.

“Fray!! Are you okay!!”

But at that moment, Serena rushed to Frey.

“Come out for a second, Serena. I’ll take a look…”

“Ah, the crow that was probably controlling Mr. Frey is staggering!!”

Clana frowned slightly and opened her mouth, but Serena started talking without giving her a chance.

“That crow is the culprit behind everything! So, at least in this case, Mr. Frey is innocent…”

“…under.”

Clana looked at Serena for a moment as she hugged Frey and started speaking urgently, then turned back with a cold expression on her face.

“Hey, Clanna-san.”

Then, Perloche started to look at her in a cold sweat.

“…it’s rather good. It’s a good chance to ruin him.”

“but…”

“If I want to kill him now, I can kill him somehow… But then, it’s a very comfortable death for him, and there are too many witnesses. And the corruption and corruption that he is buried with his death, and the information about the Demon King’s army will be considerable.”

Clana, who was whispering to such Perloche, took a deep breath and continued the story.

“There are a lot of evil people in this empire, except for Frey. And we have to somehow seize power and drive them out. So don’t rush things.”

“yes…”

When Perloche answered with a sullen expression on her face, Clana continued speaking quietly, looking at Frey behind her.

“But that doesn’t mean I won’t do anything.”

“yes?”

“This incident has revealed that Frey is involved with the Demon Lord. Probably, it will soon be known to the public and his reputation will bottom out.”

“But… if Frey uses numbers…”

“It’s not like I’ve been playing until now. I’ve already gathered some power. So the moment I get out of here, my three sons will spread rumors all over the Empire. And that will be our first counterattack against Frey and the Darkness of the Empire. still.”

At that, Perloche opened her mouth and began to look at Clana.

“This is the beginning. I will gather my forces as quickly as possible to bring down Frey, and later on, I will purge all the corrupt nobles associated with him.”

“okay…”

“So, let’s postpone killing him until later. Now is the time to use him to revive the Empire and defeat the Demon King.”

When Clana finished whispering like that, Perloche, who was nodding fiercely, immediately tilted her head and asked a question.

“Uh… By the way, why is Kania-san…why?”

But Clana hurriedly shut her mouth while she was speaking, and Perloche began to fuss with a look of embarrassment.

“…to her, I’ll tell you later.”

Clana, meanwhile, answered, glancing at Kania, who was looking at Frey with Serena and Isolet from afar.

“there…”

To those two, Irina, who had been watching them quietly until then, spoke to them.

“Yes, yes?”

“What’s going on?”

Then Ferroche and Clana naturally moved away from each other and tilted their heads, and Irina, who looked at them for a moment, asked a question in a low voice.

“…you two have memories of the future, don’t you?”

“Uh, uh, huh?”

Then Perloche broke out in a cold sweat and began to stutter.

“…Perloche, Irina-san isn’t a bad person.”

“Oh, I see!”

Clana, who had awakened Perloche like that, quietly looked at Irina and said,

“…More details, let’s talk with us later.”

“Again… a cat cafe?”

“No, there is a place set aside by my three children.”

After saying that, Clana quietly began to turn her gaze to Frey.

“By the way, it looks like you’ve taken quite a bit of damage.”

“…Iknow, right.”

It was the first time that a seriously injured person had not been treated in front of him, so as Perloche, who was slightly upset, hardened her face, Clana, who was quietly clenching her teeth, muttered softly.

“If he dies now, it’s going to be quite difficult… but honestly, on the other hand, I want him to die just like that.”

Then, Perloche, who has a knack for healing, quietly opened her mouth.

“Seeing the mana of the body is disturbed, I think I will lie down for a week.”

“…Anyway, persistence.”

Irina, who had been silently listening to such a conversation, began to even think about what she had been thinking before.

‘I’m really going to do the mediation myself…’

The ‘mediator’ used to destroy the sacrificial magic circle must have excellent mana cohesion. Not just, very much.

Of course, if it is a small magic circle, it can be replaced with artificial mana concentrators or magic stones, but if it is a large-scale magic circle that takes all the students of the commoners dormitory as a scapegoat, even if it is an unexpected emergency… There is only one medium that can be used.

That’s right, ‘human’.

Mana is the most familiar creature next to spirits when it comes to mana, who has been using mana since birth, and freely handles mana that exists in nature and mana that exists in the body.

Of course, if you want to use the same amount of mana you just did… you must be a strong person.

In other words, it is natural for other people to think that what has just happened is a side effect of the magic circle’s failure to activate… Considering the usual weak and incompetent Frey.

However…

‘What if Frey is… Really Liana, who saved me last time?’

He protected himself all day with a body that was completely torn apart, slicing demons.

Although it worsened, even the Dark Golem that destroyed the Sunrise Academy was destroyed and disappeared.

If the mysterious woman ‘Liana’, who somehow knows the name of the fruit she gave her nickname, is actually Frey, then the hypothesis that has been established so far will also be established.

Frey used herself as a medium to break the sacrificial magic circle.

Pretending to have been brainwashed by a crow, while acting.

Otherwise, a person who wants to awaken the power of the demon lord would not be able to do something that would entail a terrible pain of condensing mana into the body of his own will and shooting it all down.

‘…but, why?’

So, why did Frey do such a thing?

In the memory of the future, he has committed terrible evils.

Unable to feel any kindness or compassion, his evil deeds… literally felt like a crystal of evil appeared in the world.

Then why the hell did he directly break the magic circle that awakened the power of the Demon King, which was just before activation?

Perhaps, all of this was something he had prepared… but because the plan went awry, did he betray the demon king and break the magic circle?

Or, is there any reason that forced me to break the magic circle while acting?

‘I don’t know… Too much unclear information.’

Irina, who was following Clana and Ferroche towards the exit of the dormitory, thinking over and over again, stopped for a moment and began to finish her thoughts.

‘But…for sure, there must be some reason for Frey to save everyone today.’

Of course, Irina doesn’t know why.

However, the zeal and tenacity that had raised her as an archmage had just made the decision to find out why.

So from now on, she’ll start working hard to find out why Frey made that decision.

In addition, we will re-examine the relationship between Frey and ‘Liana’, why he was good when he was young, and why he suddenly became evil, his relationship with the Demon King, and everything else about him.

Irina’s heart was on fire, as she had to do what she set out to do.

“Remember, Perloche. From now on, you can’t trust anyone.”

“Well then…Should I trust Mr. Clana? Should I not?”

“I think we need to call someone. You guys can play Frey there for a while…”

Irina, who was so determined, tried to leave the commoners’ dormitory with Perloche and Clana, who were talking to each other, and Isolet, who was heading to the entrance to call someone…

“Ahhh!!!”

“Fh, Frey!!!”

Hearing the screams of Frey and Serena suddenly heard from behind, I turned around with the people around me in surprise.

“”………!!!””

In their eyes…

“Fray!! Why are you doing this! Calm down!”

“Ahhh…”

Frey entered, trembling with blood spurting from his eyes, nose, mouth and ears.

“Oh, no! No! No!”

Serena, who was looking at Frey, who was fighting with seven blood, with a shocked expression, immediately embraced him and started shouting.

“Sa, a person…! No, Mr. Perloche!! Please help!! Please!!”

“……..”

“Hey, this is going to kill Frey!! Please!”

In the midst of such a mixture of shock and astonishment, Kania, who had been standing quietly next to him until then, began to tremble and mutter.

“Hey…who are you…”

Kania understood the current situation better than anyone, and her heart broke, but she had no choice but to keep her head down and mutter.

“Hey… who noticed…”

On the other hand, a few minutes before Frey started the Chil Gong Blood.

“Hey there~! Anyone here?”

A girl was knocking on the door of the orphanage he had built in secret.

“…what are you doing?”

After the girl knocked on the door for a while, a female employee opened the door and started to look puzzled.

“Is this a newly built orphanage?”

“Yeah… Is that so?”

Then the girl, who once again confirmed that this was an orphanage, went inside and said with a bright smile.

“Aren’t you in need of an employee?”

“… an employee?”

“Yes, the employee.”

When the girl asked a question with her eyes twinkling, the female employee began to speak with a bewildered expression on her face.

“Uh… It’s a newly built orphanage, so there’s a shortage of staff, but…”

“Yes? Then write me!”

“…yes?”

“I’m strong and I’m good at my job! So, just leave it to me!”

Saying that, the girl began to swarm, and the female employee who watched her blankly for a moment sighed and said:

“Um… I haven’t been able to set the pay yet because I haven’t posted the job announcement yet? So, wait a minute before you come and check the budget…”

“I’m not getting paid.”

“yes?”

However, when the girl decided to stop talking, the female employee began to show a bewildered expression.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not doing this to get paid.”

“Well then… why…?”

To such a female employee, the girl answered with a calm expression.

“I’m from an orphan, too. So, I know the pain of orphans better than anyone.”

“ah…”

While the female employee was at a loss for words at the unexpected remark, the girl quietly closed her eyes and continued speaking.

“My dream is to give hope to all orphans in the Empire, so I’m taking the first step here to make that dream a reality.”

After she had finished speaking, the girl smiled innocently and brightly, and the female employee who was moved by such a girl quietly stroked her hair and said,

“…there was one more saint in the empire.”

“It’s overrated.”

The girl, who had a slightly blushed expression on her face, turned her head and then pointed to the inside of the orphanage and asked.

“Are the children in there?”

“Yes, I’m in there. May I introduce you?”

“Sure!”

As the girl nodded, the female employee looked at her with delight, then grabbed her hand and entered the orphanage.

“”hello!!””

Then the children playing inside all bowed their heads to greet the female staff, and the female staff began to look at them happily.

“…they’re pretty lively, aren’t they?”

“Yeah, it’s pretty lively around this time of year. My younger brother was like that too…”

“Do you have a brother?”

When the girl tilted her head and asked a question, the female employee answered with a slight smile.

“Yes, he’s the cute little brother in the Imperial Academy right now. He’s the most precious kid.”

“Is that so? I’m going to the academy next year too.”

“Oh, is it?”

While they were having a conversation about the academy for a while, someone suddenly approached the female employee and the girl.

“…Would you like some candy?”

A little child was handing candy to the girl with bright eyes.

“thank you.”

The girl who took the candy from the little boy smiled and stroked his hair, and the little boy’s face turned red and then he left.

“Is that kid from here too?”

“No, he has a lot of friends here, so he comes to play.”

“Aha…”

The girl, who had been staring at the little boy, immediately asked a question in a low voice.

“By the way, where do these children come from?”

“Um… most of them are children begging in the alleys of the market.”

“Still, you’re pretty ‘healthy’, aren’t you?”

“Yeah, for some reason it seems like he had some money… and there are signs that he’s been well taken care of…”

The female employee, who had her hand on her chin and tilted her head for a moment, carefully made a guess.

“Perhaps the children who were being taken care of by an orphanage ended up sitting on the streets after the orphanage went bankrupt?”

“…It’s similar.”

“yes?”

“Oh, I think so too.”

And from that point on, the girl, who had suddenly hardened her expression and stared into the air, immediately corrected her words and asked a question to the female employee.

“This orphanage, will it continue to be maintained without ruin?”

“Yeah, I don’t know why… we’re getting a pretty good budget. It’s a good thing for us.”

“okay…”

After hearing the answer, the girl looked around the orphanage and began to look satisfied, and the female employee who looked at her quietly asked a question.

“…By the way, are you really okay?”

“yes?”

“I think I should get paid a little more…”

“No, I’m fine.”

The girl, who once again cut off the female employee’s words, answered with a raised eyebrow.

“As I said before, I’m not trying to get money.”

Having said that, the girl nodded and said,

“Then, I’ll see you tomorrow. I have a job today… I have a job.”

“Yes, I’ll see you tomorrow!”

The female employee, who was waving at the girl who was heading to the orphanage’s exit, looked behind her back and said,

“Ah, there… What’s your name?”

Then, the girl who stopped walking and stood there for a moment answered with a light smile.

“…Call me Ruby.”

After speaking, the girl opened the exit wide and left the orphanage and started walking down the street at a gentle pace.

“Fray Laon Starlight…”

Then, the girl stopped in her seat and looked up into the air like before and muttered softly.

“…After all, you were a hero.”

The girl who said that, had a creepy smile on her face.

.

.

.

.

.

“Noona!! I came handing out all the candy!!”

Shortly after the girl left the orphanage, the kid who had handed her a candy approached a girl and said with a bright smile.

“Yeah… well done.”

The girl who was stroking his hair suddenly made a mysterious expression and asked the person next to her a question.

“Master, is there any magic that makes letters and numbers float in the air?”

“…drape.”

“Master?”

But the old man next to him was in a deep sleep, and the girl began to shake her wildly.

“Master…! If you have any questions, ask me anytime…!”

“Huh…”

Then the old man, who was forced to wake up, rubbed his eyes and then began to mumble bluntly.

“Ahh… you damn kids… I hate flirting kids so much…”

“Am I a kid too?”

“Except you.”

When the old man immediately corrected his words in a slightly twisted voice, the girl asked her a question again.

“So, is there any magic that makes letters and numbers float in the air?”

“Of course there are. There will be hundreds to thousands.”

“Umm…”

“Is that all? Then I’ll go back to sleep. Next time I wake up, I’ll do everything here and wake up.”

Then the girl fell into deep thought, and the old man scratching his head said so, and fell into a deep sleep again.

“It’s strange… Apparently it doesn’t seem like other people can see it… Is it only for that woman? But why can’t I see it well?”

When the old man started snoring again, Glare, who stopped by the orphanage for a while to see his friends…

“by the way…”

I kept thinking and thinking over and over again, and then I tilted my head and started muttering.

“…what the hell is ‘the hypocrite’s way’?”
