Damn Academy chapter 113

113 - Circulatory System (15)

113 – Circulatory System (15)

The monster stopped moving as if it had met death.

His head was firmly anchored to the wall, so even though his body slumped, he stayed there for a while. He was hung dangling in a terrifying shape, and moments later his neck was detached and he fell, shaking the earth.

Thump!

And finally, all battles are over.

Bertan sat down as his legs gave out.

“Ha ha ha.”

His hands tingled from unconsciously clenching his fists.

Cecile and Marta also relaxed and put their buttocks on the ground.

Martha hesitated for a moment before opening her mouth.

“I can’t believe it.”

Cecil threw her words in relief.

“Look, you did a good job betting, right?”

“… That’s a wise decision.”

Bertan admitted he was wrong.

It’s not just a success, it’s an unprecedented success. He wanted to actively praise Cecile’s discernment for now. Because her gamble saved the group.

The rumor that he had enough skills to beat Shion was true.

She could understand at once why the proud Shion was trying to find Candy. At this point, among all the students, no one who could stand against Shion had candy.

Bertan looked around. He had dead lizards everywhere.

“I came in with the goal of being immortal… I will destroy this Aren’t we kicked out of our circulatory system?”

Since her life went through a situation where her life came and went, grades didn’t mean much, but since the practice was still in progress, she had to fill the remaining period anyway.

Cecil did not agree with his words, as if her thoughts had changed from when she was preparing for practice.

“No, it has only now been incorporated into the order of the circulatory system where you eat and are eaten.”

Although it is a different point of view from mainstream alchemy, it was a reasonable interpretation.

“…… Could that be that friend’s plan?”

“I didn’t say it myself. Maybe something similar?”

“….”

Everyone’s eyes naturally turned to Candy.

Now I couldn’t look at him with the same gaze as before.

The sword that emitted a mysterious glow disappeared from Candy’s hand.

A summoning sword. Bertan had never seen or heard of such a thing. I couldn’t sleep because I was curious about what it was.

I thought he was seriously injured from being hit by the tail, but except for his body being soaked, he was surprisingly fine and calm.

At the thought of that, his soaked clothes slowly began to stain with blood.

Cecile jumped up and ran away in surprise when she saw him.

One after another, Luna also hurriedly ran to him.

Damian let out a sigh of relief and relaxed his body. He inevitably manifested the magic sword, so the problem of silence of the witnesses remained, but the successful completion of the hunt was satisfactory in its own way.

Even though his body was throbbing from a direct hit to his tail, he didn’t mind and immediately recalled the battle.

What I liked the most was that Luna and Hap matched well unexpectedly. It was the first time Damian fought a battle in coordination with someone, but there was nothing out of place for such a thing.

Luna’s quickness and reaction are both excellent. He created a synergy that complements each other’s flaws by meeting opposite tendencies and abilities.

After his recovery, he looked at his colleagues. Everyone seemed to be exhausted and sat down on the spot, but Trisha was the only one standing there staring at Damian with rabbit eyes open and a bewitched expression.

It looked like it was full of question marks, but I couldn’t have a conversation right away.

After a while, Cecil and Luna jumped up and ran to Damian.

“Candy, blood!”

Damian examined his body. Bright red blood was seeping through his side and forearm before he knew it.

If you are immersed in battle, you won’t feel pain even if you get hurt because of the excitement. As soon as the tension was released, the pain started to creep in.

It wasn’t enough to kill him, so he could just drink the potion.

“It’s okay, I won’t die.”

Cecile was taken aback when he said it as if it didn’t matter.

“… What?”

Damian put his body aside and checked Luna’s condition.

“Luna, didn’t you use her magical power too much?”

Luna shook her head.

“Me too… are you okay.”

Even if I said that, my hands, which were neatly gathered like a habit, were trembling.

As Damian watched this, Luna hid her hands behind her back.

Because he tends not to express himself well, there was a high possibility that even if it was difficult, he would cover it up with lies.

Just by looking at her appearance, she could tell that Luna was tired.

Rain or shine, she kept her hair straight down to her waist and a consistent style with one side of her hair tucked behind her ear, now her hair is pouting and the texture it is messed up

Sweat like dew formed around her forehead and neck, and even now she was gasping for breath a little. Her complexion didn’t look too good either.

Damian’s condition was also not very good, so if Shion attacked in this situation, he was helpless.

She couldn’t just enjoy hunting the ruler of the danger zone. She had to rest after moving to a safe place.

“Let’s just pack some meat and move.”

Cecil cleared her throat several times before blocking Damian’s way.

“Keuheum, no, for now… Take off your clothes.”

“… ?”

Cecil took out her potion bottle from her pocket and waved it in front of her, bruising it.

“Are you crazy? It’s moving, it’s nabal, and it’s not something that needs to be treated.”

“Let’s do it later.”

“No.”

The scars on her abdomen were as much of a pain to take out as her face.

This is because the more people who know this, the higher the chance of getting into Silverine’s ear by any route.

It was for this reason that I delayed treatment a little.

Trisha, Luna, and even Marta, whom she had no personal acquaintance with, came sneaking up to her and blocked her way.

Damien sighed as he opened his viper eyes and saw the female classmates standing in his way.

With no other choice, he unbuttoned the button. Exposing his upper body, he sat down on a rock.

“Let’s hurry up.”

Everyone looked at Damian’s body up close and became solemn. Cecile, whom she had only seen once, also checked closely, and her eyelids twitched.

The new injury was quite large, but it was nothing compared to the scars from the past on his stomach and back.

The reason Damian was able to stay calm even in front of the monster was because he had experienced an incomparable hell. Those who saw the scars could intuit that fact even if Damian didn’t open his mouth.

As everyone stood firm on the spot, Damian urged.

“Aren’t you going to treat me? It’s getting colder.”

Trisha’s expression wasn’t the best. Knowing what caused Damien’s old scars, he put on the most gloomy face in the world.

Tricia snatched Damien’s clothes and said,

“I’ll wash your clothes….”

Then I hurriedly ran towards the waterfall before my emotions exploded.

Cecil began to apply the potion in earnest. Luna reached for Damian’s wooden sword.

“Let me borrow this.”

Then Damian hurriedly drew back his wooden sword.

“This is dangerous to touch when you have no magic.”

“Ah, yes….”

Then Luna talked to the wolf spirit next to her, and suddenly the wolf bit her skirt and snarled and pulled it.

I tore off the hem like that and wrapped a piece of cloth around Damian’s forearm as a bandage.

Luna’s hands tying her ribbon were trembling. She couldn’t tell if it was because she was in contact with a man’s body or because she was exhausted.

“… ….”

Damian’s stomach hurt when his bright clothes were ruined.

And when her practice was over, she decided to treat Luna to her meal.

The treatment was completed quickly.

Damian drew his wooden sword again and moved toward the corpse of the ‘wingless dragon’.

“Candy, where are you going?”

“I need to get some meat.”

Cecil shook her head as if she couldn’t stop him.

“There is no such thing as a real venom.”

He approached the monster’s corpse.

It’s a gruesome task, but there was something I had to bring.

It was the heart.

The primitive tribes rooted in the circulatory system had one thing in common.

Heart meat has always belonged to those who needed a lot of nutrients and energy, such as mothers and warriors.

They believed that the energy of the circulatory system was concentrated in the heart.

Damian cut off the monster’s chest without hesitation. And he thrust a knife into his still warm heart.

Fortunately, the hideous work of capturing the heart meat was not revealed, as the monster’s body turned its back on his comrades. Luna had to feed the same as herself, so she had to hide her displeased appearance as much as possible.

While separating the meat from her heart, something hard caught on the tip of her knife.

At first, he thought he had touched a bone, but as he continued to work, he felt something strange and cut his hand wide open to confirm it.

There was a fist-sized crystal in the center of the heart. And there, like nerve filaments, got tangled like a spider’s web.

It was as if there was another heart inside the heart.

“This is….”

Damian, who had experience dealing with jewelry for a long time, quietly took care of the crystal after intuition that it was not an ordinary item.

After finishing the capture, he washed his hands and sword in the waterfall and joined his party.

Everybody was ready to leave and were waiting for Damian.

Everyone’s eyes twinkled as they looked at him. After going through a crisis, he seemed to have formed a sense of fellowship.

Unfortunately, Damian wasn’t interested in those who didn’t help.

“Let’s go.”

They urged their way again.

you guys just overthinking it. they have similar white hair but one of them have more shiny one. and they are different person.

  2. amogustimestwo says:

Trishia is Azelis the saint right? I’m almost certain she’s not Lisa. She even has white hair. It’s described as different from Lisa’s silver. It could just be the mtl but I’m pretty sure they say there’s a difference between their hair colors.

    1. Ineur says:

Correct, Trisha is just her second identity (like the mc) and Azelis is her true identity: the next saint – aka must be protected at all costs even if the world burns

also I believe she has some powers to peer into people considering the subtle hints, and how she found out his masked identity

  3. Commander says:

Probably was talking about with the fight with the warlock/Lisa

  4. Zakoo says:

Wait if trysha knows his old scar reason even though he never told her his past, isnt it guaranteed she is lisa?
