Damn Academy chapter 131

131 – Ghost of the Guardian Tree (10)

The silence is broken in an instant. All eyes were focused on it.

“I’m sorry.”

Favela lowered her head and began to clean up spilled tools and paint. For some reason, her hands were shaking.

Girls around her came over and started helping her. She asked anxiously if she judged that she was unwell.

“Favela, are you okay?”

Favela seemed uncomfortable being the center of attention.

“I’m sorry. I’ll take care of it.”

Favela picked up her tools at random, not minding her paint messing up her clothes. She seemed quite taken aback by the sudden situation.

She then hurried outside. At her Giorgia’s direction, some of her female students followed her. So the situation was settled.

Tricia blinked her eyes with her dazed face.

“Is he okay?”

“Let’s focus on our work.”

“When I see you sometimes, you look very cold. It’s like two personalities.”

“….”

“By the way… Damian, aren’t you a little cold?”

“I don’t know.”

“It’s strange. The air seems to have cooled.”

The sun was shining warmly inside the greenhouse. It’s an environment that never gets cold.

“Aren’t you wearing too thin a dress? I should have worn it a bit.”

Tricia’s expression turned sullen in an instant. She came with a big heart and decorated it pretty, but she seemed to feel that I was bruised.

“….”

“I was worried, not beaten.”

“A caterpillar.”

Soon after, the door to the conservatory slammed open and Pavela, her clothes stained with paint, entered. Her head was lowered and her hair was down so her face was not visible.

She went and talked to Professor Georgia. Giorgia put on her pitiful expression and nodded her head. So Favela packed her things and left the conservatory. She skipped class, probably because she wasn’t feeling well.

Trisha looked at the scene in silence and said.

“Something is wrong with that person.”

“You don’t have to worry. He has separate friends and a fiance, and is living well enough.”

Trisha pondered.

“… He has a fiancé so why are you acting like a stranger?”

“It’s not polite to approach him for nothing.”

Moreover, didn’t Favela draw the line? I have no reason to care.

Tricia asked me an out-of-the-box question with her curious expression on her face.

“Damian, what will you do if I get a fiancée?”

“….”

Trisha stared blankly at my face, then averted her gaze and gnawed at the cookie awkwardly.

“… Did I ask too hard a question? Also… It must be very unfortunate!”

“Being engaged does not mean that friendship ends.”

“What if you have to abandon your paintings and friends and go to your fiancé?”

I answered without thinking.

“I should send it to my fiancé and cut ties.”

Trisha used her imagination to ask questions.

“Chi, you are cold…. Then, what if they were forced to marry at home?”

“….”

“Why is that?”

“Let’s end this story here. It interferes with concentration.”

“I want to hear it!”

“Ha, your will is more important. I just want to leave my friend and leave, but I don’t want to be a bad b*tch, so I might use the excuse that ‘the family ordered it’. I don’t know What would you like to do in that situation?”

Tricia said slightly downcast.

“…… I’m going to throw everything away and play with you.”

“You speak well.”

I’m sorry Tricia, but I don’t believe in the oaths of immature days. Especially when it comes to women with dyed hair.

“Really. And if I can’t avoid an arranged marriage, I’ll bite my tongue and die.”

“….”

This is reliable. Tricia is a person who seems unable to endure an arranged marriage.

“And I will become a spirit and curse the friend who abandoned me until I die.”

I ignored Trisha’s anti-threatening s*x story and continued her brushstrokes.

“Do whatever you want and relax your expression. The picture is losing consistency.”

“… Not funny.”

Tricia was even more depressed when I didn’t respond. The cookie didn’t work either, so I hurriedly tossed another compensation plan.

“You helped me with my art assignment, so I’ll do your favor as a reward. Do you need anything?”

“There is, there is, there is! Help me practice the script!”

“Okay, stay still. Do not lean forward.”

After class, some students stayed and continued their work.

Me and Trisha were among them.

While I was concentrating on my work, dark clouds gathered and soon after, thin raindrops hit the ceiling of the greenhouse.

Trisha looked up at the raindrops running down the transparent ceiling and said.

“I don’t even have an umbrella….”

It’s a waste if it rains even though you’re wearing your favorite clothes. It would be better if I brought an umbrella even if it rained.

Some students rushed out of the greenhouse before the rain began to pour.

Tricia said, rubbing her waist.

“I feel like I’m getting a cramp on my back!”

“Let’s take a break.”

Trisha got up from her seat and stretched her body as soon as she finished her sentence.

“I have to go to class soon!”

“Then shall we end here today?”

It was getting dark anyway, so if I continued to draw, only the consistency of the background would be broken.

“Yes. Take me away!”

“Wait.”

I finished organizing my tools. In the meantime, Trisha held one of the remaining cookies in her mouth and looked around at the empty easels left unattended.

Then, Trisha stopped in front of Favela’s painting and quietly admired it.

I packed my things and walked over to Tricia’s side.

Trisha looked at her picture and felt sorry for her.

“It’s such a waste….”

She painted the sea. On the unpainted sandy beach, two men and women were sitting and watching the sea.

And in the middle of the picture, a solid diagonal line was drawn. As a result, the picture is ruined. Rather than drawing in a fit of anger, it seemed like it was caused by accidentally missing the brush.

It was a big mistake that seemed difficult to repair because it was painted over. It seemed better to discard the painting as is.

Trisha looked at the picture and said.

“You look affectionate. It’s too bad.”

“… Let’s go when you’ve seen it all.”

“I want to see the picture you drew!”

I pointed to a picture of Silverine with my hand.

“There he is. Come see.”

Tricia moved with her zen steps in the direction she was pointing. She stopped at a picture in the middle and she paused.

She then couldn’t take her eyes off her as she made a strange face.

“Do you just leave it if you do something else?”

When I pressed her, she finally moved.

While Trisha was looking at the paintings, I looked for something that could be used as an umbrella. There were plants with large leaves like fans all over the road, but I couldn’t take them off to use them as umbrellas. I had no choice but to take off my coat.

Tricia looked at the painting and then ran to my side and gave her review.

“They feel the same.”

“What?”

From noble mtl dot com

“I did a picture of that senior a while ago, and a picture of you.”

“… Don’t make any weird noises, just stay still.”

I put the coat over Trisha’s head. And the sleeves were tied in knots as if wrapping a present.

At this level, it will block the rain while moving the building.

As I carefully packed and folded the clothes, Tricia’s face was dimpled.

“What are you doing!”

“It’s okay, let’s go.”

The rain was pouring down hard, and it turned into a drizzle as if acting capriciously. I grabbed Tricia’s wrist and came out of the greenhouse.

As we moved, Trisha looked up at me anxiously and said.

“Don’t get wet!”

Then she put her palm on the top of her head. It wasn’t enough to stop her from raining, but the idea was oddly funny and made me laugh.

As we proceeded amicably in the rain, Trisha suddenly remembered something.

“But… I saw a strange picture.”

“Tell me”

“It was a picture of a woman with hair similar to mine sitting on a guardian tree.”

Today, a male senior was drawing throughout class. It was clear that it was the masked man who had worn the mask the day before, but he didn’t seem to have any intention of hiding his identity.

“That’s why I told you to be careful. That senior must have seen you somehow.”

“How… ?”

“You must have seen it when you sneaked out. They mistook you for the priestess of the Guardian Tree.”

Trisha said strangely.

“Something is strange. How?”

“You and I have to be careful. Sometimes I feel dizzy because I want to be found out.”

“No, I never took off my disguise and went to the Guardian Tree.”

“… What are you talking about?”

“Even if I went out secretly, I never took off my disguise!”

“… ….”

“And the woman in the picture had silver hair. I’m pure white That’s a huge difference.”

I stopped for a moment. And Tricia stopped belatedly and looked at her in a puzzled way.

“It’s raining, what are you doing!”

Another existence flashed through my mind like a flash.

Unless it’s Trisagya.

If so, it could have been another person I knew.

That person should be walking around Eternia as well. As long as I am also settled here, I will meet you someday.

I just wish that day would be postponed to the very distant future.

As if suffering from a toothache, a corner of my heart was slowly throbbing.

I denied the idea myself. If it wasn’t Trisha, the priestess of the Guardian Tree might have really appeared.

I just want to think that way.

Trisha felt cold and wrapped her arms around her body.

“Why is it so cold? Let’s go!”

We continued our steps until we stopped at the entrance porch of the Ministry of Magic Lecture Building. Trisha seemed to have decided to take classes here.

Tricia unwrapped my coat and handed it to me. She then put her hand on my cheek and teased her anxiously.

I narrowed my eyes and asked.

“What are you doing?”

“Damian’s complexion doesn’t look good. You’re cold too, so you pretended not to be cold? What an idiot!”

“No, it’s okay. Tell me when class ends. I’ll bring an umbrella and pick it up.”

“It’s over in three hours. What are you doing?”

“I have to train.”

“…Is it raining?”

When you’re not in a good mood, you have to move your body at least. If you don’t, you’ll end up getting eaten up by your thoughts.

“Yes.”

Hmm, it is very likely that Favlia is Lisa. However, it still doesn’t explain why she had to act cold towards the MC at the beginning. Well, if there were other people who were present at that time, and she had to pretend that she had a fiance, then I can understand. It is also possible that she thought Damian was attracted to ‘Favlia’, not her actual self, Lisa, which caused her to act cold.

    1. Rader says:

Well it’s an old comment. Anyways, she is like this because she possibly saw a lot of future of MC, she is choosing the future where she can get best ending for her. And in many future he would have been killed off easily in early stages.

But things deviated. MC got the Sword from Space and became disciple of Silverine. He also got in contact with Trisha the Saint and others. As per Future Liza saw he would have stayed away from women and when everything would have been solved she would have come forward and cleared the issue. Liza would have become the one who salvaged his broken soul, but now other girls are doing that.

In short, Fate or some other God in story made sure that she gets cucked hard. She is experiencing highest level of NTR, first acting like she is NTRing the MC and then getting NTRd by so many heroines.. lol
