Going Into the Game With an Instant Death Skill chapter 101

Going Into the Game With an Instant Death Skill 101

Anyway, if they hadn’t found me, I don’t know what happened to me while I was losing my mind.

It has certainly been of great help, so I expressed my sincere thanks, even though it was brief.

‘Are the children raised in the monastery?’

The monastery was basically a place for the clergy to live, but it was also a cradle for raising children who had nowhere to go.

Even in the game, when you visit a monastery, most of the children are managed like an orphanage. And later officially become a priest.

Seeing how young they are, I thought maybe they weren’t like that.

At that time, the girl with her head tilted up with a confused expression looked around my body and asked again.

“So, who was that man, who was lying like that in the woods? You’re not a villager, are you?”

I answered the same as I had told the priest earlier.

“I’m just a traveler passing by. I can’t remember how I fell in the woods.”

However, the girl frowned a little, as if she didn’t like the answer.

“You don’t remember? Are you lying?”

“not.”

“Or maybe I can’t remember why. It sounds like a good excuse. It’s not like I’ve hurt my head.”

“Maybe it could be.”

“…for a person who has lost his memory, doesn’t he seem too peaceful?”

She was a girl who persistently asked if she would believe what I said.

Slowly I felt annoyed and replied shamelessly.

“Because I don’t remember only the brief moments before I fall. And my head is confused as well.”

The girl who looked at me with a displeased expression said:

“Then I’ll just find out as a pervert.”

“······What?”

“You were lying down naked with nothing on. That’s not a pervert, what is it?”

I looked at the girl with completely absurd eyes.

Lying down naked, what the hell is this?

‘······ah.’

Did you see that?

As I groped through the hazy memories, I remembered the last moment just before I lost consciousness.

I was so distracted that I didn’t even have time to care about such a trivial thing… but, obviously, I was naked.

It was natural. The flames burned not only my body but also my clothes. What I’m wearing right now is a different outfit.

‘Wait a minute.’

So they’re saying I’ve been brought up here naked?

He clenched his lips, and a sigh escaped.

“There’s something that bothers you, so you’re pretending you don’t remember and avoiding the answer, right?”

“no······.”

“Or please answer me properly.”

A little bit of embarrassment and a mixture of absurdity and resentment made me at a loss for words.

Then a boy named Heren stepped in and stopped the girl.

“Elika, stop it. That’s rude.”

Then she snorted once and stopped shooting.

squeak.

Then a strange sound rang out. The source of the sound was my ship.

After a moment of silence, the girl stood up.

“I’ll tell the priest to bring you a meal.”

“········Yes, thank you.”

I added that

“And I’m not really that kind of person. Don’t get me wrong.”

“I don’t like it? I’ll keep thinking that way until I get an answer.”

The girl sticks out her tongue and turns and walks towards the door.

The boy Heren sighed and bowed his head to apologize instead.

“I’m sorry. I’m a rude guy, so don’t worry too much.”

“That’s right. There’s no one out there like him in the monastery, right?”

The boy, Tom, clashed with excitement, but immediately shut his mouth when he caught the girl’s harsh gaze.

“Anyway, get a good rest. We’ll go.”

All three people who came so suddenly went out.

A conversation could be heard as they receded beyond the doorway.

– Aren’t you supposed to be a nobleman? Didn’t the atmosphere feel something unusual?

– Why would a nobleman wander the forest alone without an attendant?

– Ummm… is that so? Still, as Elika said, at least it’s not like a pervert. Looking at her clean face, she looks so good.

– What are you talking about, your face is like that, so it’s more likely.

.

It was after a while.

The door opened again and a nun came in with a meal.

“thank you.”

I thanked her and accepted the meal.

Soup with bread, butter and meat.

For a meal served to a raw outsider, it was quite a feast.

I started eating right away because I had no strength in my body and I was hungry. Let’s eat first.

***

Ashel looked down at the vast forest that stretched out below with a hardened face.

The day was bright and the day passed.

She struggled to suppress the anxiety and impatience that filled her heart.

‘·······Where the hell are you?’

When she returned from a long distance from the battlefield riding a belt dragon as ordered by the 7th Lord.

All that was left at the scene was the completely ruined area and the corpse of an unidentified demon he had dealt with.

The 7th lord vanished without a trace, leaving no trace.

Although they continued to search the surrounding areas, the figure of the 7th lord was still nowhere to be found.

shoo woo.

Eventually, after several rounds and turns, Ashel returned to her place again.

Serun, an informant who was guarding the scene where the 7th lord disappeared, greeted her.

“Are you here?”

Serun was about to ask if there was any income, but after seeing the dark expression on Ashel’s face, she stopped.

Ashel looked at the demon’s corpse with wretched eyes.

I had already heard from Serun that the demon’s identity was one of the original horses, and that it was also the seventh-ranked demon.

As an elite informant directly under the overlord’s castle, it wasn’t difficult for her to figure out the identity of a giant who was about the same size as a horse.

At that time, Serun looked at Ashel’s eyes and finally opened her mouth carefully.

“It’s dangerous to stay here all the time. As for the death of the master mage, one of the original horses has even been revealed…”

You never know when other wizards on the Magic Tower side might come here, or other demons might appear again.

From Serun’s point of view, it was best to leave the scene immediately. But it was because of Ashel that he couldn’t.

Ashel, who had been silent, opened her mouth.

“…we haven’t found Ron-sama yet.”

“It is believed that if the 7th Lord was in good health, he would have appeared first.

Ashel quickly turned her head to look at Serun.

The life that stabbed her body made her pale, and she couldn’t speak any more.

“Ron-sama said that this work was entrusted to the overlord himself.”

“············”.

“Explain. Is this the Overlord’s craft? Is it not a trap the Overlord sold to deal with Ron-sama?”

Rather than reaping life, Ashel exhaled more ferociously and spoke in a cold voice.

Serun barely opened her mouth and stuttered in response.

“Ah… No. I didn’t even know that the 7th Lord would come here.”

“············”.

“Please calm down… and think rationally. What is the reason the High Overlord wants to harm the Seventh Overlord?”

At Serun’s earnest plea, Ashel slowly recovered her energy and closed her eyes tightly.

She knew herself that she had just said something completely absurd.

It was close to a coincidence that he met Serun, who was being chased by the master. It didn’t quite fit that the Overlord even planned that.

It was just that I couldn’t stand my frustrated and confused heart, so I was just venting my anger.

“······shit.”

Anyway, I didn’t want to think like that at all.

Ashel never acknowledged the death of the Seven Lords. No, I couldn’t admit it.

Believing that she was still alive somewhere, she corrected her trembling heart.

Crung.

She patted Tiyong’s neck at the sound of a deep cry from the side.

“Don’t worry. He’s definitely alive. He’s not going to die that easily…”

***

After finishing the meal, I strode out to the courtyard outside the monastery and looked up at the clear sky.

‘There is no real answer…’

It was fortunate that his life was saved, but the situation became very difficult.

‘What is Ashel trying to do now?’

Since I suddenly disappeared, I thought maybe they were desperately looking for my whereabouts. Maybe he thought he was dead.

In reality, she was only teleported to this place because of the demon’s powers, but she couldn’t figure it out.

So, I had to go back to the monarchy as soon as possible, but there was no belt and the distance would be too long.

‘And the body is not good.’

The trauma seemed to have completely healed as the body continued to regenerate even while losing consciousness.

The problem was an internal injury, but it was so bad that it felt difficult to even move a little of the body right now. I was sweating enough to even walk a little to get here.

In short, it was not feasible to move right now.

It would have been much better to leave after recovering to some extent than to leave immediately.

‘Should I stay here for a while?’

I thought as I felt a secret gaze from the other side.

It was the gaze of the paladin standing near the monastery building.

First of all, since I am a complete outsider from their standpoint, it was natural to receive the minimum level of vigilance.

However, he doesn’t seem to have any intention of kicking him out, so there would be no problem to ask for his pardon and stay with him for a while.

Encounter (4)

“Um, you found a fallen man in the woods and brought him back. Elika and the children.”

“Yeah, a young man. He says he’s just a traveler who happened to pass by.”

“How did that happen?”

“I don’t know. They say they don’t remember the moment before they fall, but there are some things that are a little questionable, so it seems like there’s something to hide.”

Abbot Dehorde stroked his beard at the priest’s explanation.

“He said he wanted to stay in the monastery until his body recovers because his condition is so bad that he can hardly move.”

“Then it’s not a big deal. Please take care of it so that you don’t feel uncomfortable. You’re a foreigner, so just pay attention and take a look.”

At the cool acceptance, the priest nodded as if he knew it.

Since he was more faithful than anyone else, there was no way he could just throw away someone who was hurt and in need.

The priest glanced at the pile of papers piled up on the desk and said:

“How about taking a little more rest than that, Director. I’m worried that it might harm my health.”

This time, the priests and paladins leaving for other denominations were also busy, so it was a time when he was busy with other things, so he was the director who was immersed in his work.

Dehode grinned at the worried remarks.

“Not for a day or two, what. And now it’s almost over, so don’t worry about it.”

The priest went outside, and the Dehorde, alone again, continued what it was doing.

“············”.

As he was reading the documents for a while, he glanced down at the cabinet under the desk.

The bottommost compartment locked with a padlock.

He took out the key from his pocket, unlocked the lock and opened the cabinet.

Inside was a translucent black jewel the size of a fingertip.

“Hmmmm….”

The Dehorde, who picked up the jewel, looked at it with curious eyes, fiddling with it.

There was nowhere to be seen before in that expression, only a cold ruthlessness.

At the sound of footsteps approaching the room, he put the jewel back into the drawer and opened his face. Soon the knock rang.

“Come in.”

The door opened again and another priest entered.

“What’s going on?”

“Yes, Director. There is something you need to check in relation to the sutras you mentioned earlier. Are you busy?”

The Dehorde beckoned with a soft smile.

“It’s fine. Bring it here.”

***

After explaining the situation, he said that he wanted to stay in the monastery until his body recovered, and he gave permission.

I spent most of the day and the next day lying in bed.

Occasionally, the priests would come and write recovery magic, but it didn’t help much.

Seeing that recovery was so slow even with super regeneration, it seemed that Detrodemyan’s magical power was really terrible.

Of course, it was a very cheap thing to do for taking the raw horse’s attack.

‘It’s really good to sell once.’

It was not the time to relax, but in this situation, it was unavoidable.

All of this feels contrived and forced.

  2. TWO says:

And tbh, I don’t understand why MC doesn’t at least try to learn a little bit of magic or swordsmanship. Even if it couldnt help him in his current state, who knows if he would become stronger in the future and have a better physical attributes that can at least support him in a fight without mysteries. I mean what’s the point of mentioning that he is talented in magic but not bring that up ever again?

Lying down doing nothing in his free time and only ever relying on his insta kill ability and mysteries that needed certain conditions to activate. It has been mentioned time and time again that he is not able to properly subdue enemies and since those enemies are usually stronger than Ashell he couldnt get her to do so. Why rely on unreliable things when you can have a more reliable and stable path to take? Idk, just seems really poorly executed in this aspect for me.

Agreed. Burned to the bone but recovered flawless skin? pretty sure bones are internal

  4. Yuusol says:

unpopular opinion: this is a sign of bad writing, the author gave mc a seemingly OP skills but later regret it and thought that it’s too broken so he downgraded its usage, “super regeneration” that can heal burning degree to that extent but can’t heal internal injuries… is this some kind of joke?
