“Sniff. Sniff.”
When they smelled burning flesh, they started drooling. One guy even stuck his head into the Humvee window.

Catherine held the archer’s trembling hand calmly. She waited a moment and then she heard shuffling footsteps. The zombies had gone to the back.

Elian let out a sigh of relief. She needed to see what was behind her, so she lifted her body slightly off the seat.

Everyone in the car looked at the Humvee window at the sudden sound.

Something similar to a human, but much more hideous, grabbed the window and shook it like crazy.

The monkey that climbed onto the Humvee ran wild. An ominous clicking sound was heard.

Booaang! The Humvee got off to a rough start. Without even knowing what was going on, the Humvees behind them followed suit and took off.

A group of zombie monkeys ran after the Humvee. Humanoid zombies also flocked to their menacing screams and shouts. The driver turned the steering wheel roughly. The monkey on top of the car screamed and fell out.

The air raid siren sounded again. The location was completely different from before.

Catherine even had the absurd illusion that a siren might be following them. The siren blared only in the direction they were traveling. If sirens were going off elsewhere she should have heard an echo, but oddly enough she didn’t hear anything like that.

The driver shouted.
Zombies filling the six-lane road were coming this way. As they came, trampling on the broken car, the car body collapsed helplessly. Those who fell while running were crushed by the crowd.

But zombies poured out from the road behind. Elian gave instructions. Machine guns mounted on five Humvees opened fire.

The five Humvees rushed forward faster than Elian’s order to advance. Not long after passing the LPG gas truck, zombies flocked in.
Zombies that were more than enough to fill three six-lane roads were flocking to one four-lane road. Now, they looked not like people, but like human-shaped waves, wriggling black flesh, and the fingers of a giant trying to swallow the world. .
Once again, sunlight stung Catherine and Elian’s eyes. A person with his back to the sunlight was pointing a gun from the roof of a building. Flames flashed from the muzzle of the gun.

A blinding flash of light. Heavy drinking that felt like my ears were going to pierce. The ground groaned and twisted, and the vibrations spread even to the heavy Humvee.
Due to the enormous explosion, both buildings collapsed. Not only was the four-lane road narrowed to two lanes, a huge fire broke out. Waves of fire spread over the exploded bodies of the zombies.
No one ordered us to do this, but everyone jumped out of the Humvee. With my personal firearm, I shot the things that crawled over the wall of fire one by one. A beast that might have been a wolf when it was alive jumped through the flames.

A gunshot like a thunderbolt. It was shot from top to bottom. The wolf’s head exploded in an instant. The body slid down the road and came to rest in front of the Humvee’s tires.
“Hey!”
Elian and Catherine waved enthusiastically to the person on top of the building. It was a way to show that there was no hostility, and they wanted to know who the person who saved their lives was.

I couldn’t tell for sure, but it seemed like that based on the feeling it gave off and the silhouette of the body. However, the man had already disappeared.

Elian and Catherine looked at each other. I was half eager to meet him and half thought it would be very dangerous.

Elian looked at Catherine as if asking for her consent. Catherine nodded her head. She was flawless and a decent conductor. Buildings are better than wide roads at avoiding zombies.
The building that was once used as an office was empty. Catherine and Elian went up with M4 rifles. Unfortunately, there was no trace of the man. There was only an empty plastic water bottle and a sweat towel.
The wind blew this way. For some reason, there was a nice smell. Elian lifted the sweatcloth by the end of her rifle.
“What perfume is it? Do you know anything? “It smells really good.”
“I don’t know much about this either.”
The two women sniffed the sweat towel without realizing it. Of course, we both got embarrassed and put it down.

“I don’t know. “He wouldn’t have gone anywhere.”
The two women looked in opposite directions. She was wondering if her man was jumping over her roof. But there was no trace of her man anywhere.
