I Became A Flashing Genius At The Magic Academy 291

291

54. League of Spirits (4)

This was the first time that full-frame and Hae Won-ryang had a meal at the same place, following May Seong, Eisel, and Baek Yu-seol, who were members of the existing restaurant club.

“Is this your first time eating pork cutlet?”

“It’s not even a steak, and it’s a little strange to cut tempura with a knife.”

“How about using tempura instead of steak?”

“It’s good enough to eat.”

When five people from an unsuitable combination were gathered in one place, the full-frame had a strange feeling.

The people I loved the most while reading the original Ropan are now the closest to me… … Because it was very unfamiliar, but I was happy.

“Ehh. I’m going to stop practicing after just one game.”

Anyway, the full frame, which did not like this situation very much, was the bibim naengmyeon.

He turned around and took a deep breath.

“No, maybe it would have been better. Anyway, you got a rough idea of how this game is going from the first game.”

” Uh.”

There is a limit to running a practice game all over the place. In Rios games, there was often a ‘build’, followed by a ‘set frame’.

A set framework means a very basic strategy that does not change over time.

Whether it’s an invade strategy that steals alley monsters by hiding in the other side’s alley, or a gang that goes around the alley and backs up your allies at the right time.

If you hide in a certain location, it is easy to attack the enemy, what kind of action the enemy is under in what situation, and how to move effectively.

It means that you have to learn it yourself by following the mold that has been firmly established along with the history of Rios.

Then build.

It is also used as another word for strategy.

It was also a weakness of the full-frame team.

“Look, what do you think of our team?”

When asked about Baek Yu-seol, he drank cold noodles and said,

“Well, honestly, there is no hope?”

“The core of Rios is strategy and collaboration, and we are falling behind. But the only useless one of them is perfect.”

“What?”

“Personal prowess.”

“Um, isn’t that important?”

“It doesn’t matter, it’s important… … i say

Individual skill does not refer to individual performance, but to one-on-one combat ability.”

Azel put down his fork as if he had finally understood. It is Azel’s habit of not speaking well when chewing something with her mouth or holding utensils.

“So, are you saying that the ability to cope in a 5v5 situation is poor, but a 1v1 situation is good?”

“yes. right.”

At those words, Azel’s expression hardened slightly.

“Individual skill is certainly an important factor, but… … In a co-op game, it can be a poison.”

“right. Because he was so good on his own, each of them moved mainly on their own individual actions.”

Full Frame said softly.

“So, let’s just go like that.”

“yes?”

“It means that we should practice at least a little so as not to interfere with each other’s attacks, and then go around alone and cut off the head of the enemy team. Like your style.”

“therefore… … Can you win?”

The full frame with shrugged shoulders was twisted by twisting the bibim naengmyeon with chopsticks.

“Well, wouldn’t it be better than practicing cooperation that doesn’t work now? Register and use various magic, and as you get used to it, destroy the enemy team with individual breaking waves. That’s the ‘strategy’ that suits our team.”

“••♦It’s a strategy, and it’s not.”

“If you just stick with it, that’s all, isn’t it? For that reason, our

We need to adjust our positions to a battalion match so that we can utilize our strengths.”

The previous position was set at random in the full frame, but the result was a huge failure.

It was proof that she didn’t understand the sport well either.

“First, if there is a position you want to do, appeal it.”

Then Baek Yu-seol hurriedly said.

“tower… No, send me to the rising line.”

“Upstairs? why’?”

It was the first thing I said, so there must be some reason. Baek Yu-seol is a pod

He said with a serious expression on his face.

“The tower is… a true man’s battlefield.”

u.•?”

“It’s a world of cold-blooded men who don’t call the team cowardly, but only decide one-on-one… …

“Crazy… …

It sounded absurd, but it was also true. It was right to send someone who is good at one-on-one on the rising line and the center line. That’s why I’m not good at one-on-one, but I think I’m good at myself.

Each of them leads the team to defeat after going up the center and rising line, but at least Baek Yu-seol and Ma Yu-seong are different.

Their one-on-one combat abilities were top tier no matter what anyone said.

“Ma Yu-seong still protects the center line. Because he is the most proficient one-on-one among us, and he has the best magic for linking when he receives a backup from his teammates.”

After checking the backup of your allies on the mini map, you can quickly approach the enemy team to bite and sag, or eliminate the enemy with powerful one-shot fire.

The person who could show it was Mayu-seong.

“And first, Azel and I will take turns taking the positions of supporters and alley lines. As you know, we are free to employ Mez magic to neutralize and bind our opponents.”

“Oh, right.”

“So the two of us take turns playing this position and looking for someone that suits you better, but sometimes we switch according to strategy. It could confuse the enemy who analyzed us.”

“right.”

“What does the alley line mainly do?”

“Normally, you have to quickly and steadily go around the rising, center, and falling lines to catch alley monsters, and then back up each line to strengthen it. The players call it ‘gang’.”

“Gang… …

“This is a really important role. If you don’t judge quickly, one line will collapse in an instant.”

“Um, that’s right.”

“And Hae Won-ryang will be in charge of the descent line, and I will take the support position helping him. However, I’m going to mainly employ defensive magic and healing magic rather than mez that binds the enemy team together. Your role is slightly different.”

Baek Yu-seol slowly intervened.

“To be honest, the alley lines feel like a modern father who works silently, and the supporters feel like a busy mother at home, whether to take control of her vision or take care of her.”

“Hey, how do you do that when you say that?”

“ah! I totally understand!”

Either way, both are unique.

Anyway, at this point when I almost finished eating the pork cutlet, the full frame slowly finished the story.

“It is said that Baek Yu-seol and Mayu Seong are good at one-on-one, but in the end, the core strength in a 5-on-5 battle is Hae Won-ryang. He has both judgment and attack power to use the seven magics that are limited according to the situation in the most efficient and complex way.”

Hae Won-ryang’s expression in full-frame praise

dimly brightened. Mayusung tried to tap his shoulder as if to make fun of him, but he quickly came back with a growl face.

“Did you get a rough idea about this game?”

All four boys and girls nod their heads.

“Then I would like to go straight to practice•••••••, but I don’t think that’s possible. We need to learn the ‘basic skills’ first.”

Mayusung cries.

“You have to read an interesting practical strategy book again.

will it be?”

“no. There’s nothing better than reading stuff like that all day, right?”

Full Frame rummaged through his handbag and pulled out some small tapestry.

“It’s a video recording of the competition by amateur players. We’re going to go through this and learn over and over again what strategies the players use, how to gain sight, and what happens in what situations. Let your body react on its own even in practice.”

With only two weeks left of the intramural competition, I have just started studying video.

It was a very tight job, but the full frame trusted this team.

Those protagonists, who are superior to others in the sense of action and who can be seen as far smarter than others, will be very helpful with this unique practice method.

The next day, Stella Dome.

As usual, there were quite a few people in the audience at the League of Spirits practice range.

However, there seemed to be a little more people than the day before, and the reason was that word of mouth was quietly riding on that ‘the full-frame team is unique and unusual’.

Of course, there were still only those who were talking about the sloppyness of the full-frame team, but there were also a lot of people who believed in the keen eyes of the players.

“Are those kites so special?”

“Yes. Even though I didn’t understand how the game works, the physics of each was beyond my imagination.”

“Written, I don’t understand.”

Many coaches and players who did not see the game at that time responded that they could not believe it.

Even so, no matter how great a magic warrior in real life, no, the greater the magic warrior, the more sloppy in the League of Spirits.

The seven limited spells were like suddenly putting a ton of shackles on them, and they often struggled and collapsed all day long without overcoming the awkwardness.

Fixed cooldown and limited magic, you

Mana is not enough mana.

All the elements that make real magic warriors go crazy and jump like crazy exist in this League of Spirits.

“I wonder if you say that anyway.”

“When are they coming?”

“Let’s wait. After all, there is no place where we can practice other than on Stella’s campus.”

“You said you practiced for the first time yesterday, so I will practice closely for two weeks from today until the school competition. Let’s analyze the power and prepare for any contingency.”

So they waited patiently.

… … Six hours passed.

“When are you coming… … ?’

As there was no sign of showing up all day, the players began to get annoyed.

“Hey, let’s wait. It will be dinner soon.”

They didn’t show up until late at night when the other trainees returned.

“••• Tomorrow will come. The competition is just around the corner.”

But even after a day, two days, three days, and even a week.

they didn’t show up

“What are you guys doing… … ?”

“Aren’t you practicing?”

“What did they do after class in the afternoon?”

“Mom, I don’t know. There were rumors that each of them ran back and forth to the dormitory and were locked up, or that they were all flocking to the reading room to watch videos…

“crazy.”

One of the directors tapped his forehead and said.

“Give up the game.”

it’s a mess

Among the Magical Warrior cadets, it was very rare to see Rios with ease and challenged it, but because it was not so easy, I often gave up right away, but the same was true of the full-frame team.

“Still, I thought that he would play an active part in Rios to some extent because he was praised as a genius… …

“That’s all it took.”

“No matter how good you are in battle, our world of Rios is completely different.”

“It was easy to see, but I must have hurt my nose.”

Now, there is only about a week left until the competition. Even if I suddenly wake up and practice from now on, I wonder if I will be able to barely pass the preliminary round.

“It’s disappointing.”

“I’m not interested in that any more.”

“Well, even if you want to be interested, you won’t come now. I think I’m going to drop out of the qualifiers.”

The game officials completely abandoned their lingering feelings about the full-frame team.

When the next day comes with 6 days left until the school preliminaries.

“Well? What are they?”

Saturday morning.

A small number of coaches and players who showed up early on the morning of the weekend expressed their doubts when they saw some trainees who had gathered in advance to practice.

Even so, the full-frame team, who thought they were giving up on the game, had been practicing since early morning.

“damn. It’s the weekend, so I came to give special training to my kids, so I can’t see them… …

“Ku-woong, I have to go watch the kids for a while until lunch, right?

“I’m still curious, so shall I go see it for a moment?”

“Well, how different the little ones who were a week ago are now…”

The player who had been speaking up to that time watched the full-frame team play and shut his mouth.

So did other stakeholders.

[Blue team wins!]

[The AI at difficulty level 12 will leave.]

“Uh, huh?”

I was just about to watch the game, and as always, the full-frame team won the match against the AI at level 12.

“How did you do it? Has anyone seen anyone? there you! You’ve been sitting here before!”

“Yes? I’m looking forward to seeing our team…

“shit… !”

Since it was morning, there were not many people, so no one saw the full-frame team.

“Winning the 12th stage… …

It is by no means easy as a trainee at the student level. No, it’s impossible for beginners who haven’t practiced properly before.

After rolling around on the battlefield of Rios and becoming a well-rounded amateur player, it was only when he proved his skills that he caught the 12th level AI and used it to prove his skills.

“They never practiced.”

“Where did you go to do it?”

“Where do Stella cadets go?

And they said that after school, they were locked up in every corner of the house every day.”

“Well, well, I also… …

“Let’s wait. One more plate.”

But the full-frame team seems to know how to raise people’s drugs.

– hey. It’s lunch time.

– Oh, yes. Would you like to come and eat?

– OK. Gather back here in the afternoon.

They talk about eating again and sit down.

“Ah, damn it. Sponsor meeting at lunch

I can’t come because… …

Some club officials groaned, but for others it was better.

Anyway, after lunch, we were talking about practicing again here.

‘home. I’d rather bring that player along and ask for an analysis.’

‘Did the coach want to see this game… … I’ll try to contact you.’

It meant they had time to bring their own analysts together.

Time flew by so quickly, lunchtime passed, and it must have been 1:00 PM.

at the time.

“what? Rios players also came over the weekend.”

“I know. What’s going on?”

“There’s also the director of Adalen Fires over there… …

Analysts from the outside giants began to gather one by one, and at last five boys and girls appeared at the Stella Dome Rios practice range.

– Choose the difficulty level. Tier 12 AI.

The game begins with a small voice in full frame.

On a topic that was not even a professional league, all the officials were silent and focused their eyes on it.

For those who are tired of the boring practice and analysis of teenage trainees… … This game was a very exciting match.

These spectators are so damn funny. It’s like airsoft players and paintballers saying “The navy seals cant do what we do”😭😭😭😭

  2. Thienlibra says:

So to sum it up, there are five roles in the game

    – Baek Yuseol: Top lane player. Heavy focus on 1v1. Usually used by fighters with high sustainability

    – Ma Yuseong: Middle lane. Mainly occupied by casters/mage. Also 1v1 but can support gank

    – Hae Wonryang: Most likely botlane AD carrier. The role is to serve as the team’s main source of damage

    – Aizel / Fullframe: Either Jungler or Supporter. Jungler assassin with high mobility clear monsters and roam lanes to gank. Support protect and / or gIve CC so AD can utilize their damage effectively

That’s what I get, at least
