I Became The Academy Necromancer chapter 126

126. Retry

126. Retry

Arias.

The main character in a game called Retry. He was a child who lived in a small mountain village and was loved by many people.

Her setting for her was released by the game company in quite detail, and her appearance is also impressive as she is small and cute.

When she plays the game, she naturally falls for her quirky charm and cute behavior.

If Lee Tri were to ask if she enjoyed the game, it wasn’t.

Rather.

Even if I perished, I couldn’t perish like that.

A game that hits the back of the head, so-called. It is rumored to be a game that inflicts internal injuries on players by combining lively characters and the worst world view.

The game itself can be said to be excellent.

The terrible worldview and the gloomy story did not mix as harmoniously as I thought.

In addition, what bothered me the most was the attitude of the main character, Arias.

We overcome whatever happens.

The girl despairs all the time, gets on her knees, but gets up again in the end.

She smiles brightly at the end.

It felt so alien to the player and gave them a sense of rejection.

Nevertheless, I had no choice but to continue playing that game. No matter how many times I saw the ending, I kept leaving to see the ending.

Because that was all I could do.

“Previous episode?”

Arya hesitated for a moment, as if she was saying something, but after a moment, she exclaimed and opened her mouth.

“Oops! It was! In the first playthrough.”

She took a deep breath and Aria replied as if she was a bit regretful.

“In the end, they all died. As you know, the world has an unavoidable ending.”

“… ….”

“Where should I start talking?”

So Aria’s a little bit of her midgut heating, but her tidying up isn’t quite right.

The story of the first episode has begun.

* * *

The professor visited me at the end of my second year.

It was the beginning of winter vacation for sophomores.

At the time, the professor was in the hospital, but she dared to come and visit me, guided by Professor Erica.

“Aria rias.”

The professor, who looked at me with an exhausted look, let out a rough breath while sitting in a wheelchair.

“Yes?”

“Winter vacation starts now. Where do you plan to go?”

I was a bit taken aback because it was such an out of the blue question.

“Are you going home? By the way, who are you?”

“Tsk!”

Then the professor clicked his tongue and weakly slammed his wheelchair with his fist. Rather than doing it on purpose, it seemed that the power was only going there.

“Leave to the Sahar Desert immediately. Winter is the right time now. Go find Hin, the master of the flame sword, and become an apprentice. If it’s your talent, you’ll be able to master it all during winter break.”

“Yes?”

I suddenly wanted to say something.

I’m thinking of going home and having stew with my family!

“It is for you. Erica will accompany you.”

“No, even if you suddenly say that… ….”

“Spring of the third year. You will surely feel fortunate to have heard me. So hurry up!”

Thinking about it now, I think the biggest reason I followed those words was because Professor Erica asked me later.

I heard that she often attempts suicide because she has a kind of dual personality.

It’s like that person’s last request, so he asked me to listen to it just once, so I complied.

After leaving the kingdom, passing through the Marias Forest, and arriving in the Sahar Desert, I met Hin, a master of the flame sword, and practiced.

As the professor said, if you pick up some yellow quartz plants and bring them to me, he will accept it.

I also learned about my talents. I have a knack for swordsmanship!

And.

Surprisingly.

Spring of the third year.

The time has come for the dye sword I’ve learned to be active as if I’ve been waiting for it.

A spring flower festival held in Lovern.

The yeti brought from the circus went on a rampage and I saved her friend Forencia from danger!

If I hadn’t learned the flame sword, I’m sure Porencia would have been seriously injured or even killed.

I went to Professor Deius’ hospital visit and told him about it.

Professor Dayus then spat out a word too calmly.

“You avoided the death route of Forencia.”

“Yes?”

I didn’t know what that meant at the time, but the professor immediately gave me the next instruction.

“I have to get first place in this midterm exam. To do that…….”

It was a bit out of the blue, but getting first place in the midterm was not a bad thing for me, so I followed it.

Surprisingly, 1st place in the midterm exams in each grade was given time alone to meet the saintess who came to Lovern at the time.

At that time, Professor Dayus told me that there were things I had to say, and he made me memorize them, and I followed suit.

It was amazing.

Because I met the saintess in private and became close friends!

After that, everything proceeded smoothly as the professor said.

Leorus became a master of the spear.

I was able to handle water property magic well, so we always did our best in our battle line.

As Happy started using the magic power gun that came over from the Clark Republic, his skills improved a lot.

Forencia’s magical skills have reached the level of her top skills, even within her academy, comparable to her princess, Eleanor.

Jin cut off her family business.

Not from an assassin family, but as an ordinary Jin, he showed an all-around side with us.

I thought everything was going smoothly. If you listen to the professor, things really work out in the best way.

Sitting on the hospital bed, he always gave orders, and when he comes to the solution as he said, nod his head saying it’s natural and give the next order.

That person.

3Rd year winter break.

It has been exactly one year since we met.

You asked me.

“Warlock. Find the necromancer among them.”

It was my first time.

Professor Deius, who always gave orders, this time requested a request without any information.

“In this winter break, the gains are trivial. So it doesn’t matter if I do something else.”

As you say, Professor Dayus’ body was leaner, and there were more scars on his wrists.

According to Professor Erica, she is now attempting self-harm even with injections given by nurses.

There are many cases where the owner of the body screams because he is different.

My friends and I eventually left to find the necromancer. It was quite difficult, but with the help of the saintess, we eventually found the necromancer.

“Yeah, I knew a day like this would come someday.”

An adult woman with purple eyes wearing a black robe.

The necromancer, who was covering her nose with a translucent black cloth, met her death with a dejected voice.

“In the end, maybe there was no end.”

Her voice filled with futile sighs gave us anxiety that we were doing something we shouldn’t be doing.

Anyway.

The necromancer is dead, and we have given her professor her book on the basics of necromancy, which she has written.

One month like that.

After just one month.

Professor has been discharged.

She said that she had completely annihilated the other personality within her.

At the time, I had no idea what that meant.

“From now on, I will accompany you.”

As a guardian, you will act with us. At that time, I had great trust in the professor.

Thanks to the professor, I escaped death several times, and he gave me the skills I needed before the incident happened.

But even such a professor always looked impatient.

Even if I followed the professor’s orders properly, the professor wasn’t happy.

On the contrary, he bit his lip and repeated the same words over and over again.

“We can’t go on like this.”

Why?

I did my best as you said, but why is the professor always dissatisfied?

That’s how time passed.

4Th year spring.

Professor Deius is married to Professor Erica.

However, the wedding was quite modest, and Professor Dayus had a strong feeling that it was done out of necessity rather than out of love.

The Verdi family didn’t like Professor Deius.

He said that he should at least form a bond with the Bright family so that he would not be abandoned by the family.

Even so, Professor Erica did not regret it. She took care of all sorts of illnesses, and she loved Professor Dayus with all her heart.

And I think I was a little jealous too.

Because I thought that someone else had stolen the professor who was always thinking about me and making the best choice for me.

Is that why?

I always wanted to be acknowledged by the professor. To the person who calmly listens to the next story, saying that no matter what great things I do, even if I defeat a formidable enemy, it is natural.

“Subdue Dante. Their chief must not be killed. Make some sacrifices.”

A group of warlocks who have confronted each other many times. They do not know what their purpose is, but they fight for the salvation of the continent.

I thought my chance had come.

I thought I could solve it more than the professor wanted.

When Dante’s head took her friends hostage.

I decapitated Dante’s head without hesitation. Otherwise, everyone would be at risk.

That’s how Dante perished.

Their goals were far-fetched, but they certainly had the power to achieve them.

The professor who heard the story.

Boom!

After hitting the desk hard once, he gestured.

“Get out.”

“Gyo, Professor?”

“Stop going out. You don’t have to come to me anymore.”

Why did you do that?

Considering the many evils Dante had done, it was only natural to punish them.

“Is it because I killed the chieftain? But otherwise my friends were in danger!”

“What does that matter!”

Quang!

Once again.

The professor shouted as he slammed the desk violently.

“You had to endure that much damage in order to save the world in the 1st playthrough! Some sacrifice must be made to avoid the end of this damn world!”

“Play 1? Yes? What do you mean?”

“Just follow me, and that’s it!”

Professor Dayus said, running his hand over his forehead.

“It is over.”

You are a very mysterious person.

Everything is done as you say.

Indeed, within a few weeks the Continent became a spectacle worthy of the word hell.

Because there was no longer a place for the dead to lie on the continent.

The dead didn’t sleep, they woke up and started roaming the continents.

An evil spirit who died with a grudge would kill the living too easily.

I was able to deal with it for a while because the neighboring countries had at least some knowledge of black magic, but there were so many people dying that they gradually collapsed in the end.

Of course, first and foremost, the kingdom lost its function in an instant.

It was a kingdom of griffins that unconditionally rejected black magic.

People dying helplessly.

Wizards, chivalry, and priests.

The kingdom was destroyed without even being able to respond to the countless evil spirits.

Those who were killed by evil spirits also became evil spirits and poured out their resentment on the dead and the living.

Last like that.

The professor fought the evil spirits to protect me, who he said was my last hope until the end.

The only thing I can stand against is the professor who is a necromancer.

You even abandoned your fiancée.

The back that saved me.

But he was weak from the beginning, and he was late in necromancy itself, and he learned it by himself.

The professor looked at me with his heart pierced by an evil spirit.

“If you have next, then…….”

That was it.

The professor was attacked by evil spirits, and I, too, could not overcome the transcendent beings and closed my eyes.

‘If I had listened to the professor, I would have saved everyone, right?’

With those regrets left behind.

Restarted.

  1. First Deius was definitely way more mentally cornered. He had almost zero necromancy knowledge for two years. So he had to spend that entire time trying to somehow cope with all the evil spirits around him and og Deus constantly trying to kill him.

I find it more impressive that he still somehow managed to move towards the goal of saving the world in that state. Even if he did end up as an unfeeling bastard willing to gaslight a girl to achieve his goals.

  2. LazyRa🇮🇩 says:

It can be said the reason she failed in 1st playthrough caused by her relation with her friend

  3. huehue huehue says:

Ooof, Deius, what the fok? Since when were you willing to sacrifice people, living people, for a goal? No wonder Aria’s mental state if foked up right now, 1st and 2nd Deius are way too different 🤦 Poor Aria is conflicted.
