I Became the Laughing Bell Character of the Academy chapter 208

I Became the Laughing Bell Character of the Academy 208

The contents of the diary began with one person’s adaptation period.

Like a child looking forward to adventure.

She, Seon-hwa, was a person who drifted to this world after wandering through countless worlds.

It is said that with the power of a perfect key, it is possible to surpass the world.

But she didn’t go beyond the world anymore.

Not only did he like this world, but it seemed that the barrier between the two worlds was particularly thick.

“barrier… … .”

As written in this diary, if there was a wall separating the world from the world, it would be correct to say that the wall has been broken now that the sky has been broken.

Did Salem want to tell me this? no, it won’t be

Isn’t it something worth showing for just that reason? Because it’s something I’ve cherished so much.

There was no wrinkle in the diary, and it was stored so well that it was hard to believe that it had been for a long time.

I continued to read the diary.

The handwriting in the diary is sometimes innocent, sometimes mischievous, sometimes irritating, and sometimes mature.

It changed as she adapted and grew.

The memoirs of a girl who went on such an adventure, the diary of a woman in love, and the letters of a mother who cared for her family.

Although it was clearly dying, it was full of warm writing.

I could see how much a woman named Seonhwa loved Salem and the unborn Oz.

And maybe I could have been loved if she had been alive.

“This… … ?”

after reading the last one.

It was when I tried to stand up again with my head down.

“Are you still there?”

The diary had the following.

He must have felt the end of her in the diary. Intuitively, that would have been her mother’s last message.

I thought so.

But then there was.

“… … .”

Behind them were Salem Sudra’s diaries, letters, and memoirs.

Perhaps this was what Salem really wanted to show me.

-Seonhwa, I was weak.

The first sentence of the diary that Salem took over.

It was as if he was looking at me now, infinitely shrinking.

– We didn’t have the confidence to protect our heritage. ‘Cause I’ve had too many enemies The old men who have abandoned even the humanity of the Senate are watching for an opportunity to find my weakness.

As if the past was dotted with regret, Salem’s handwriting was shaking with anger, fear, and regret.

-That was so scary. I can defeat those old people by myself, but if that demon reaches Oz… … . I couldn’t be sure that I would be able to protect it.

The reason why Oz grew up in a monastery.

Salem, who was the strongest wizard in the world, is different when it comes to politics.

After giving up on returning, it must have been difficult to figure out the remodeling works that were reaching out to discredit himself.

Fear of the unknown.

Now I can understand that heart deeply.

– I won’t ask you to forgive me for this. But to protect Oz, I had to send it to a place where no one but me would notice. Because I thought it was for The Oz.

Salem eventually gave up on being with Oz. No, I tried to protect it by giving up.

king of wizards.

Despite the fact that he even gave me a name with that meaning, it seems that Salem did not want to push me into the storm of the world.

-The abbot of the monastery is a good person. We met in passing in the past, but that’s why we were able to trust each other.

Salem abandoned Oz.

I thought so. That’s why I couldn’t guess the reason why I came back and reaped it.

But now I know. Why did he entrust Oz to the monastery?

The reason was simple.

because he was a coward

-Seonhwa, so please be at ease. I can’t approach it because I’m worried about my movements being predicted, but Oz is doing well and healthy.

Salem was apprehensive even watching me from afar.

But he, too, must have realized. That his son was more reckless than he thought.

“hahahaha… … .”

Oz went looking for him.

-Seonhwa, our child grew up bold. He treated himself like an ignorant child and asked me to teach him magic.

After all, blood can’t be deceived?

Apparently, at that time, Oz already guessed that Salem was his parents.

– I couldn’t even look away twice. If I knew it would turn out like this, I should have watched the child grow up together. I missed the opportunity through fear and stubbornness.

Salem in the diary regretted it. regretted constantly.

I wish I could have treated you better, treated you warmer, gave you more, and made you feel happier.

The confession of parents who were infinitely clumsy in front of such a child was written.

Salem’s diary started with an apology and turned into a letter of regret for happiness and lack.

When Oz became an elder at a young age, he was full of things he wrote proudly.

When Oz started his research on divinity, he was full of thoughts on how to help.

and one day

The very day Janus appeared.

-I thought Oz looked like you, but… … It seems that my bad side has come to resemble me.

The day I found out that Oz stole Salem’s [Return].

He wrote down a lot of things mixed with regret and concern.

yes, it’s a concern He had never hated Oz.

-Oz is a stubborn child. No matter what I say, I probably won’t stop studying just because a knife goes under my throat.

Oz was stubborn. I honestly ran towards one goal.

-On the other hand, the other Oz is ruthless and extreme. Both of them only resembled my bad habits. Brothers hate each other so much that I don’t know what to do.

Salem couldn’t knock either side. He couldn’t give up both of his sons born to a woman named ‘Seonhwa’.

– Neither of them are my sons. The legacy of the world you left behind, I couldn’t stop it at all.

So Salem expelled Oz to put the situation on hold.

No, I had no intention of kicking him out. He intended to warn me.

“There is a certain degree of clumsiness. These damn parents… … .”

However, Janus dug into the gap. Lena was an assassin sent by Janus, not Salem.

Still, Salem did not give any explanation about him. Did he even worry about losing his dignity?

No, given his personality that neither side could cut off, he must have intended to cover up Janus’ attacks.

In the meantime, I contacted Janus and continued to persuade him.

“I understand now.”

The most perfect sorcerer.

It was a title representing Salem, and I thought I was a person worthy of that title.

However, when I looked inside, there was an infinitely clumsy man there.

He who gave up the power of [regression] was not special.

“That you were just struggling too hard.”

As I was reading through the diary, I found a section where recent events were written.

Even though he claimed he wasn’t Oz, the me in the diary was still seen as a son, and Salem seemed to have a lot of fun teasing me.

This is the part where I laugh bitterly.

-Seonhwa, the atmosphere is not good. Maybe this will be my last diary. Again next year though. I will come to write this diary.

And the diary ended with anticipation of a future that could not come now. That was Salem’s last sentence.

The car that seemed to be broken again in front of that cruel truth.

“Did you spill your food?”

Mother’s diary and father’s diary. and the very last chapter.

I was able to find a page stained black.

“No, this can’t be… … .”

When I checked the blackened page with [Contemplation], I could see that it was a compressed space with magic.

One page infinitely reduced.

The densely filled letters and characters that appear to be dyed black.

In the ‘last chapter’, which can only be written after a long time in the future.

-I leave my ‘perfection’ here.

In addition to [Return], Salem’s three major transcendent magics were written there.

Of course, I didn’t know that my gaze would fall away from the magic of [Return].

It’s magic worth it.

It is the power to become a tombstone of reversal.

The compositional formula was vast and beautiful, as if it were a galaxy.

It was a magic that I couldn’t unfold as I am now, and even if I did, it would take several months to unfold.

Still, [regression] is worthwhile.

Decades of time in exchange for just a few months. Time is nothing if you can do it all over again.

“under… … !”

With this, even Salem’s death can be undone. My failure itself will disappear.

but… … .

“No matter how difficult this ordeal is, it is still too difficult… … .”

What a cruel ordeal this is. Even though they nailed it to me not to use it, they left it like this.

The intention is so obvious that it makes me laugh out loud.

“You don’t want me to use this magic.”

The reason he left magic was to leave his life unknown to anyone, but he probably didn’t unfold it to pass it on to Oz.

So I’m not going to use this [regression].

Because Salem wanted it that way.

I will not succumb to that temptation and become a person who does not know failure.

“So, I will try to rise above this failure.”

I stood up in front of the table I had been leaning on all along.

The power of [return] written in the diary was holding my ankle as if to retrace my steps.

I woke up though.

could happen

I was able to face forward to see the future without looking at the past.

I walked over to the washbasin with my staggering body.

“Yeah I… … .”

It felt heavy, as if something was pulling my ankles.

Invisible shackles that gripped my heart held my feet.

“Arrogant and self-righteous… … .”

There will definitely be times when you get tired of that weight and stop.

There will definitely be times when you drag on the past because of that discomfort.

yes, that’s for sure

inconvenient and

Painful.

it will be hard

“Because it’s Oz Quo Vadis.”

But I’m sure you’ll be fine.

You’ll never be able to take off these shackles for the rest of your life, but you’ll get used to it nonetheless.

You can make this pain your friend and move forward.

If that happens, the weight of this heart will rather become my weapon.

My legs, trained by that weight, will not stop no matter what happens and will not be dragged.

My soul will be able to create more weight.

“Because he is your son.”

First of all, cold water was poured on him to wake up from his hazy state of mind.

In the mirror I looked at to check my miserable face while I felt my mind awakening little by little.

[SSR King of Darkness]

Oz Quo Vadis

“Because now I am the King of Darkness.”

The milestones I have to move forward, the weight I have to be responsible for.

It was clearly there.

* * *

[King of Darkness] The death of Salem Sudra.

In addition to that, the disappearance of [the successor of the King of Darkness] Oz Quo Vadis.

In such a chaotic situation, <Spellage> was unable to rectify the situation even after several days had passed since the attacks of <Parade>.

It wasn’t just about the death of the king.

“Are there really no candidates among the elders of the Senate?”

“… … .”

Humanity’s strongest wizard was murdered by an unknown group.

Anyone could have noticed that this attack was an attack on Salem. That’s why I was afraid.

How could there be any law that he would not be killed when he rose to the vacant position without even knowing the exact purpose of his opponent?

The old wizards of the Senate, whom Salem hated, refused the position.

But there are also things that covet power. That’s why they were frantic to contact young and promising people and make them their puppets.

“Twist… … . How long will I live if I live? In the future, I think this country should be led by a new generation of young people. How is it? Shuren. If you have an idea, I will push it.”

And among the young elder-level magicians they contacted, there was also the leader of ‘Zanbul’, Shuren Post.

I wasn’t specifically looking for contact. It seems that he is just contacting an elder-level wizard at random.

It was like a hungry ghost.

‘… … Is this the reality of a country that went back to being a single person?’

Salem’s influence was great.

Because of its influence, it was also predictable that this would happen.

But that Salem. Who would have thought that they would die in this terror?

The effect of the vacuum has healed this reality.

Shuren knew intuitively.

‘This must have been the world Miss Prudence experienced.’

I had never experienced it, but I could be sure that the current <Spellage> is returning to its past.

There were too many humans who tried to undo the efforts of humans who shed blood to create the current system.

There were too many people who saw a country that should embrace its people as a tool to take care of their own interests.

‘rather… … .’

tadak.

An ember started to flicker in Shuren’s heart. It shouldn’t be like this.

The country built by the great men of the past cannot be ruined so easily.

The main culprits ruining this country are the remnants of the past. <Spellage> cannot be complete unless all its remnants are burned.

“I won’t ask for much. It’s just that these old people are comfortable living… … .”

thud!

It was hard to listen to it anymore, so it was the moment Shuren tried to light the fire.

“This can’t be… … .”

The old wizard, who had been unraveling his desires in the vibrations that resonated throughout <Spellage>, hurriedly ran out the window.

“Ahhh… … .”

And the old wizard, who was looking out the window, sat down as if his legs were weak, and then embraced his head and began to tremble.

What he was feeling was fear.

‘What? It’s just an earthquake, isn’t it?’

Shuren was puzzled by that appearance.

No matter how rotten they are, they are wizards who have lived for decades.

If they were only afraid of an earthquake, they would not have intervened in such a dark struggle.

Shuren looked at the old wizard as if wondering, then looked out the window.

And I finally understood.

The reason the old wizard was so afraid was the memory of the defeat deeply engraved in his bones.

This old wizard lived through the same era as Salem.

That’s why I remember it.

“indeed… … .”

[King of Darkness] How powerful Salem’s transcendent magic was.

How did you trample on the remnants of the greedy past?

Seeing the scene outside the window, Shuren smiled lightly.

“Are you back?”

A huge steel giant looking down at <Spellage>.

[pulsating heart]

Oz, who had been missing, appeared to put an end to the confusion.

  1. now anything that hurt him but doesn’t kill him, will only make him stronger.

I like this type of character. Flaws and overcoming these flaws are always satisfying to read. An imperfect character that doesnt always succeed and experiences failures, but also learn and develop from failures.
Never expected for such depth to come from a harem novel.
Shame the novel title kinda draws away readers.
