It Is Fate To Be Loved by the Villains chapter 339

339. Pact

Pact

This is the second time arriving in the Otherworld.

Actually, last time I met only one beast in the Otherworld and ran away, so it’s ambiguous whether to call it a visit, but this time it’s a little different.

If the previous me had the presence of an ant, now I have ascended to a demon and am going to meet the angels.

So, right from the entrance, it’s different from before. Just by entering the building, which was built perfectly under the guidance of the Main Archangel, you can tell.

“It’s quite beautiful.”

He said that while marveling at the building, reminiscent of a Greek temple.

A palace built on top of clouds—that’s almost an exaggerated expression, but it is beautiful enough to use such words.

Actually, compared to its beautiful exterior, the things inside are grotesque from within.

“I… I’ve reached my limit here.”

With trembling steps, the Main Archangel who guided me here stammered those words.

Just by seeing his pale face drenched in cold sweat, it was evident that he had exerted himself. Originally, he shouldn’t have been here, it felt like he was dragged along by force.

“If we go any further, I can no longer guarantee your safety. The hierarchy among angels is absolute.”

“Yes. I understand roughly. Thank you for your hard work.”

“…”

Master Jucheonsa blinked dazedly upon hearing my response.

“Why?”

“…I didn’t expect you to let go so easily, honestly.”

“…”

Perhaps it was due to the long history of torment that I caused him. He doesn’t show signs of believing me easily.

However, as if truly telling me to go, he hesitated but opened his mouth while making a hesitant gesture.

“…Be careful.”

“Yes?”

“Among the Chiheonsas, there are certainly those who are reasonable, but there are also those who look down on and despise the material world. If your attitude isn’t good, you don’t know what they might do to you.”

“Is that so?”

“…”

Seeing my somber response, Master Jucheonsa rubbed his temple as if he had a sudden headache.

“…It’s no joke. It’s the pinnacle of the Demonic Realm. Even if they’re demons, it’s not easy to see them…”

“Well, didn’t you suggest that I go first because you thought you would react like this?”

“What?”

“If we stay together, it will cause trouble.”

Saying so, he approached the door of the palace.

Turning over the original knowledge in my mind, I surveyed the area near the main gate.

Exploring the Demonic Realm was part of the content in the Sara DLC, so I have some knowledge about the region unlike the Martop.

And what I’m looking for here is…

“Wait, don’t touch that…!”

Before Master Jucheonsa could shout anything, I forcefully kicked away the white ‘line’ that appeared near the main gate.

This would be a common item corresponding to “security equipment.” It was made to intercept intruders.

In an instant, as red spread and sacred energy began to surge in all directions, vitality surged within my body.

<System Message>

[Emergency situation detected.]

[ I judge it to be a direct threat to life. ]

[ Skill: Apply Desperate Measures at EX level. ]

That’s right.

He looks at the sparse contents with a wry smile and lifts his foot.

Should I call it a natural booster? It certainly makes me feel alive.

And then.

-!!

-!!!!!

With a kick that shatters the doors of the palace into pieces, he lets out a thunderous scream.

“Come here!”

“…”

Leaving behind Chief Deacon whose face turns pale with a horrified look, he walks steadily inside.

It seems like the news of my arrival had already reached here, as the spacious conference room was already filled with seats.

“…”

Looking around at those guys.

The pressure is building up.

Angels wearing halos on their heads. Each one has a presence that tingles one’s nerves.

Though I can’t count them all, there are dozens at least.

Individually, they may fall short compared to demons, but the combined strength of these guys is on par with Pandemonium. It’s not just for the sake of hierarchy equality.

“The atmosphere…”

It’s not much different from what Chief Deacon described.

Although most of them seem confused, there is a clear distinction between those expressing “scorn” and those simply “surprised.”

In terms of numbers, the former seems to prevail. Perhaps that’s why the decision to invade the surface was deemed acceptable.

“How shameless.”

Then, the ringleader of the group who directed scornful gazes toward me opens his mouth.

“I knew these lower realm idiots had no manners, but isn’t this going too far?”

I stare back at him blankly.

A young man with wings and a halo. His name…

“Do I need to know?”

Let’s skip the introduction for now.

Anyway, I don’t have much interest in these guys.

[…Why?]

“Yes?”

[Isn’t reaching the level of a Celestial Being the biggest obstacle for you right now?]

“No.”

[…]

Just because the hierarchy is on par with demons doesn’t mean they pose the biggest threat to me.

I found the Martians more annoying than them. They had absolutely no information, so I was just being dragged along according to their plans.

The situation is a bit different now than it was back then.

That place was filled with things I didn’t know, but here I have a rough idea of these guys’ information and inclinations.

So I’m speaking without restraint.

“So, what can you do?”

“…”

“Just because I curse a bit, what else can you do except whine about it?”

“—”

As soon as they heard my words, everyone’s faces twisted in horror.

“You’re unbearable—”

“—Of course I am.”

I answer with a sneer and look around.

“I don’t have time to waste on people like you from the start. Got it?”

“…”

The faces around me crumple in unison upon hearing my words.

Their expressions show that they never expected to hear something like this from someone in the material realm who suddenly appeared.

But it’s true.

All my attention is focused on the trap set by the pioneers and that bastard.

Pouring energy into these extras at the beginning feels like a waste, you know?

“Seems like you’re mistaken about something.”

So, regardless of their reaction or their continuation of the conversation, I say:

“When I said I came up here, I don’t know what you were thinking. I didn’t come here to talk to you guys. I came to deliver a message and make a pact.”

“…A pact?”

As Banjili let out a hollow laugh and asked in response, he shrugged his shoulders and replied.

“What you guys are trying to do, cleaning up the material world and manipulating it to your liking, it’s probably an activity driven by a sense of unease due to the unusually active demon activities. Isn’t that right?”

“…”

Banjili’s expression faltered slightly at my words.

Perhaps I was hitting the nail on the head.

In theory, Pandemonium and the underworld always keep each other in check with the material world as a ‘barrier’.

But since demon activities in the material world have been increasing around me, they must be stimulated to engage in such actions as well.

So, all they need is a solution to this.

“The demons, including myself, have no intention of ‘dominating’ the material world.”

He calmly continued speaking.

“If I prove that fact, then don’t meddle with the material world.”

“-You’re not even funny.”

Just like before, Banjili glared at me and spoke.

“You’re getting so worked up and saying something incomprehensible. Know your place. This isn’t a place where you can freely rampage around.”

“Oh, really?”

“That’s the extent I’m willing to tolerate your impudence!”

“Then try it.”

“What?”

I crossed my arms and met their gaze one by one.

I may not possess flashy techniques or skills that emit life force, but at least I can convey my ‘sincerity’ abundantly.

“Just as you said. If you’re determined to kill me, go ahead, you can kill me as much as you want.”

On top of that, with a faint twisted smile on my lips, I added another sentence.

“But I’ll take as many of you with me as possible.”

“…”

“Out of the dozens of people here, if I were to fight tooth and nail, I could probably take about a quarter of them. What do you think?”

“…What is this about-“

“Don’t play innocent. If you’re prepared, then come at me. You should know by now that I’m capable of that too, right?”

Immediately, silence fell.

Yeah, that’s why these guys are useless.

They may have enough power to kill me and then some, but not a single one of them has the determination equivalent to placing bells around a cat’s neck.

From the beginning, there are indeed things I could really prevent from happening, but if I were to truly die here, they themselves would also know that they have to fight demons head-on, risking the fate of the underworld.

Even this guy wouldn’t want bleeding to that extent.

That’s the decisive difference.

I am different from these guys.

The demons, that is.

I am prepared to sacrifice anything to protect my women.

“Since there is no time, let’s assume you understood roughly.”

“…”

“I take your silence as agreement. We can discuss the details later. Stop meddling in the material world for now.”

He scans his surroundings with wandering eyes.

“…Otherwise things will get really ugly. Got it?”

Once again, silence remains.

With a silent gesture indicating that I didn’t expect them to be so stubborn, I turn my head.

For now, this should suffice. No matter what tricks they pull later, if I dig into these guys’ affairs in the current situation, it will truly become a headache.

Thinking that way, I turn my body around when suddenly a voice is heard from behind.

“-Just one question.”

Turning my body to leave, that pest from earlier opened his mouth with a deeply irritated expression.

“You mentioned before that the demons won’t reveal their greed. How do you prove that?”

Ah, that?

It’s simple.

“I’m too busy giving birth and raising kids to bother with that.”

“…What?”

“I’m going to build a family with all of them.”

“…”

If I hadn’t done that from the start, I would be dead.

From the moment my nose was pinned by one side, that future has already been determined…

[…I don’t know if you’re a real man or just insane.]

Let’s say both are similar.

  1. Ori says:

That might actually be more terrifying than assuring for the angels.

The demons won’t be a problem because king demon will be mating with them so much that the only thing on their minds will be making babies, giving birth and raising children…

But demons are immortal. And Daud is also immortal now being a demon. That is a *lot* of babies. They are gunna get Zerg rushed in a couple hundred/thousand years.

  2. RocheNeorecormon says:

The plan is simple. I get f*cked, by all meaning in that definition.

  3. simplethrone says:

He really came up to the angels and said “I can fix those demons by mating”

    1. SenatorArmstrong says:

He is “f*cked”. And I mean that literally.
