0 – Prologue
Witch Hunt.
Damn gacha game.
As the name suggests, the game was about hunting and growing witches using the characters you picked.
There was one complaint from people who played the game, and the complaint was that the witches who appeared as enemies were more popular than the characters available to the player.
Well, this is likely to happen in any game, but this game is even worse, so game users have been asking to make witches into playable characters if they’re bored.
Of course I was one of them.
Well, I knew to a certain extent that it wouldn’t work anyway, and half of it was close to a joke, so every time I send an inquiry, the answer that comes back is “It’s impossible because of the story.”
I don’t know if it’s because I still can’t see the end, but a different answer came from the game company for the first time.
“Is this a special package for training witches?”
In the answer from the game company, an explanation was written along with a link.
When I clicked the link, the game started up and a window asking if I wanted to download a new patch file appeared.
It seemed like a clichéd beginning to a novel, but in real life there won’t be any idiots who believe in that.
I pressed OK, of course.
“I should have believed you, you idiot!”
It came into the game like an obvious novel.
