Love Letter From The Future chapter 138

3. Dragon's Eye, Human Mind (2)

3. Dragon’s Eye, Human Mind (2)

The student cafeteria of the dormitory emitted light and heat even at dawn.

This was because there were many students who started training early in the morning. The restaurant also had to prepare breakfast at an earlier time accordingly.

There were only a handful of geniuses who could enter the academy with talent alone.

The majority of students were able to enter the academy because they polished their talents through hard work. And such people were usually accustomed to training.

I entered the crowded student cafeteria. Then, a chilly silence descended on the noisy restaurant.

I could feel the eyes staring at me. Hmmm, a snarky sound escaped from my mouth.

It was written that he had touched the imperial family and left painful memories behind.

Then there was only one thing to start with.

Bullying, and all-round pressure and intimidation would begin.

Even members of the royal family had to live as mere students at the academy.

Of course, there were very few cases where those words were followed, but once such a rule existed, there was no need to worry about being penalized at the academy for touching the imperial family.

However, to what extent this was officially so, unofficially, all kinds of punishments were possible and have been.

For example, the attitude of the students toward me right now was like that.

Some were casting hostile glances at me, while others averted my eyes in fear.

It felt like being a patient of a plague.

An existence that would cause great trouble if you approached it.

The name value of the imperial family was so frightening. If I said I touched the imperial family, I did it even though there was only one person caught.

The 5th Princess of the Empire, Shien.

He was the head of the first year of the Faculty of Magic, and he was also the person who boasted the widest network in the academy.

First of all, his affable personality, unlike the imperial family, was well received. He was popular even among the common people because he was considerate of others regardless of social status.

Above all, it is also pretty.

Although far from the right of succession to the throne, I had heard rumors that she was especially loved by the emperor because of her charm and flower-like appearance.

But the princess took a picture of me, there must have been at least some reason.

How can I find out the circumstances?

I was troubled for a while. As long as I was in the imperial family, I needed to distance myself from people close to me. If you don’t, it will cause more trouble.

Well, first of all, except for Leto, my trusty brain.

Not Celine, Seria, Elsie, Delphine, or even Emma.

It was around the time when I stroked my chin and fell into trouble.

Someone patted me on the shoulder and passed by.

And the table topped over and the food spilling down my pants.

My eyes glanced to the side. A male student caught my eye, sticking close to me and showing off that I bumped into him on purpose.

It was the 3rd year of the Faculty of Swordsmanship. I didn’t know everyone with the motive, but I knew at least the face.

He put on an annoyed expression and spat out curse words.

“No, f*ck! Hey, do you have no eyes? Why are you standing there f*cking?”

Very classic, I smiled inwardly.

The reaction of the group was also obvious. They mocked me while pretending to dissuade the boy.

“Stop, stop. Can he see anything now?”

“Life sucks.”

My feet, which had been watching silently as they giggled and were about to leave, lifted my feet.

And a neat kick that pushes the ankle from the front to the back with a pak.

It was a sudden surprise. No matter how much the opponent was in the swordsmanship department, it was only in the middle rank, and it was not up to my current skills.

In an instant, the man’s body, which floated in the sky as if slipping, fell flat on the ground. It must have hurt, but the spilled food splashed in a mess and stained my clothes.

At the sudden response, the male student and his party just stood there dumbfounded. Even the students in the restaurant who were watching the spectacle.

I smiled softly.

“Sorry, that was a mistake. So, look ahead and walk around.”

The boy’s expression turned red when he belatedly grasped the situation. He hurriedly stood up, and let out a choked voice.

“This crazy bastard… … !”

But that was the limit.

As I stared blankly at him, the boy hesitated and then averted his gaze. So were their companions.

It was something I couldn’t figure out.

The boy’s friends patted him on the shoulder and dragged him along. The sound of their whispers reached my ears.

“Wow, those f*cking eyes are scary, really… … .”

“You said you were a hatchet killer, how many people did you really kill?”

What nonsense, where is a peace-loving nobleman like me?

I smiled and slightly lowered my gaze. Food plates were still rolling on the ground.

And my eyes reflected there are a little bit.

Looking tired, I pressed my temples, wondering if I was seeing something wrong.

My mind wasn’t clear yet. It seemed that he hadn’t been asleep.

Now was not the time for this. Because I had something to do right now.

My eyes followed a gang of departing boys.

**

I dodged my stabbed sword with a single step.

As soon as I brushed by, the man’s arm followed me, I embraced it and carried it on my back.

A shockwave echoed through the back alley with a thump.

“… … Whoops!”

With a muffled groan, the eyes of the man who was pinned to the ground widened as if they were about to pop out. And the presence of the two people behind my back.

I didn’t even have to straighten my upper body.

The hatchet he had drawn swept away, crushing the leg joints of the man approaching from behind.

“Quaagh!”

A scream erupted with a crunching sound, and as he stumbled and fell to the side, the posture of the other person approaching me faltered.

That was it.

The sword pulled out of its scabbard struck the man on the side of his head.

There wasn’t even a scream. The pupils flickered for an instant, and the new model staggered to the ground.

There were about four or five people who fell like that. All of them were moaning or fainting, unable to make any sound.

I put the sword back on my waist and brushed my hands away.

My eyes turned to the wall. There, with his back leaning against the wall, there was a male student who was trying to escape from me by all means, stretching out his legs.

There were already many scars on his face. Of course, it was all the wounds I made.

It was a male student who quarreled with me in the student cafeteria. His eyes were already full of fear.

“you you… it’s crazy?! Didn’t you know that violence is forbidden in the academy?!”

“As anyone would say, life sucks and there is nothing to see. If you don’t want an ax mark on your head, you’d better keep your mouth shut.”

My calm voice made the male student even more frightened and heehee.

I walked over and slightly bent my knees in front of him to meet his gaze.

“Actually, I hate violence… So now I feel very bad. Why should I use violence against you? So, listen to what I want neatly, and let’s rob each other. yes?”

Seeing the boy’s face turn white, I put on a satisfied smile.

efficient and fast It would have been nice if it had been like this from the beginning, while I was thinking about it.

Suddenly, I wondered why I was doing this.

Do you drag them into a back alley and smash the whole group just because you had a fight once?

Isn’t it excessive, but compared to Elsie-senpai, there wasn’t much difference.

But the more I questioned it, the more my head hurt. My mind was still hazy. It felt like I was wandering in a half-dream.

My head was blown away. There was no time for this.

I decided to focus more on my purpose for now.

Again, my eyes turned to the male student. He was even crying now.

To reassure him, I put on a warm smile.

And with a squeak, the hatchet stuck next to the boy’s head.

A faint crack appeared in the old wall around the ax blade. In the end, the boy couldn’t stand it any longer, and tears welled up in his eyes.

At this point, there won’t be any plans to retaliate against me in the future, I asked in a kind voice after completing a short calculation.

“Me and the princess. Blow whatever you know about what happened between the two of you. Everything.”

With a trembling voice, the male student began to tell the story he was curious about.

**

The 5th princess of the empire, Shien, was a woman of talent.

As befits a descendant of the imperial family, who is rumored to have the blood of a dragon known to have gone extinct a long time ago, her talent for magic was exceptional.

Even though he was the first-year chief, there were words that compared his skills with the second-year chief or third-year chief. Even his appearance was unmatched.

Dark blue hair with a light as elegant as the night sky, and light gray pupils with a mysterious atmosphere.

In particular, her eyes were sometimes out of focus, giving off a more secretive beauty.

She was the emperor’s favorite daughter, her beauty worthy of being called the hidden pearl of the imperial palace, and her talent also stood out.

If she greeted her in a friendly tone, could anyone not respond favorably?

Until now, Shien had never doubted that hypothesis. Except for her childhood, she had never been treated badly in her life.

At least that was until I met a man that day.

Cheak, and water sprayed into the air.

Sean was smiling. That fact didn’t change until the clear, transparent liquid dripped down her hair.

My whole body was drenched.

Water dripped from her hair, and her uniform and cape soaked up the moisture. Even then, Shien couldn’t understand the reality that befell her.

So, I had no choice but to keep smiling. Because it’s frozen

Fatigued golden eyes were looking at her. He had a canteen in his hand. It seemed very clear that the man was the culprit who threw water on Shien.

he said in an emotionless voice.

“… … Is the water cool, Her Highness?”

There was at least a faint smile mixed with those dry words, so the princess finally knew that he was a human with emotions.

The corner of her mouth quivering while smiling, it was the only thing that represented the princess’s feelings.

she thought to herself.

It’s not pure madness, this.

Because Future Ian has a limited time to do things, he also can’t talk about future too much either and is likely under several restrictions. Thus he chooses the most effective and impactful method to get things done. Sadly this leaves present Ian to deal with aftermath and suffer through whatever repercussions of his future self actions. Things really do end up turning out for best in long run but that doesn’t change fact Ian has to suffer in process.

At it seems that the current I am is wondering why he is becoming more violent lately.
