Surviving as a Rival in a Martial Arts Novel 0

Chapter 0 – I Should Live First

These days, possession seems to be a trend.

Writers who casually throw away their stories after writing well, only to suffer consequences and become extras dying in the novel they wrote. On the flip side, readers who angrily send lengthy complaint emails after reading a novel suddenly get sucked into the story.

“But what about me?”

I’m neither the person who writes novels nor the passionate reader who leaves lengthy comments or emails.

In fact, I’m the type who rarely leaves comments, just silently giving recommendations. What if someone looks at my account and says, “Are you like that?”

“Sigh… I can’t believe how absurd this is.”

And if I were to be possessed, why not in a novel I enjoyed? Why end up in this ambiguous story that’s not a masterpiece?

Regardless, I find myself currently in the world of a martial arts novel.

I’m Yon Cheongha, roughly the rival of the protagonist. While the protagonist, a hardworking man, eventually lives a happy life carrying three generations with a woman he looks at reluctantly in the end, I’m a genius with exceptional talent who enjoys entertainment without making an effort but has personal flaws.

Character-wise, I could be seen as the charming wanderer character that every woman likes. I highlight the unwavering devotion of heroines who don’t yield to the relatively talented rival characters.

Of course, beneath it all, there’s the role of protecting the weak twin sisters, reminiscent of the first love, who eventually die in the arms of the protagonist and heroine. It’s quite a sinister plot.

“This is quite ominous.”

Ultimately, I die at a young age.

“I don’t remember the details since I only read it when I had spare time, but… wasn’t my constitution gathering internal energy and using my unique martial arts?”

Of course, that’s because every time my master displayed his martial arts, I couldn’t bear thinking of my frail sisters. And when protecting the heroine at the end, I used my whole-body martial arts while thinking of my sisters… there was a magnificent scene.

“It wouldn’t have been a problem if I had written it normally, right?”

Moreover, now I realize I’m still in a young body. I’m not in a state of chasing after various women while enjoying entertainment.

“I seem to be in the middle of training under the master right now… but wouldn’t it be okay if my sisters didn’t die? It’s not like it’s trauma or anything?”

In this case, it seems like the rival character might be ruined, damaging the novel, but who knows.

Whether it’s a novel or a fight for survival, I have to come out alive.

Tch Tch Tch, MC, this days there’s a new trend of making the MC as unknowledgeable of the source material as possible.
