The Academy’s Weakest Became A Demon-Limited Hunter chapter 155

The Academy’s Weakest Became A Demon-Limited Hunter 155

>

The Marchen Academy did not close for a single day.

It was different from last year, when schools were closed frequently because of the large number of unimaginable accidents. This year, we have prepared a solid and concrete system by imagining a state of national destruction.

The students who attended the Marchen Academy last year were almost speechless about the change.

Eltra Coast is temporarily closed to entry.

This was because the academic staff and the Imperial Knights mobilized even the manpower of the horse tower to investigate the cause of the appearance of the deep sea monster demon.

There were all kinds of conversations among the students about the cause of the appearance of demons and the identity of the nameless hero.

Especially.

The academy insists that the ice attribute students be set aside and that the hero’s identity must be revealed by some means.

There must be a deep meaning in hiding the identity of an unnamed hero, so the argument that we shouldn’t bother digging into the archmage who protects us, and so on.

The students exchanged many ideas about the nameless hero.

Among them, those who praise a nameless hero, those who are still unsure whether he is an ally or an enemy, and who have deeply rooted in doubts. It even divides into several different groups of students.

The nameless hero has become the most important topic of the Marchen Academy.

… …

As the Marchen Academy boasts of its status as the best academy on the continent, the principal’s position is also high.

Principal Elena Woodline, a beauty with rose-red hair with her back curled up.

Although she was in her 70s, she maintained the beauty of her heyday in her twenties with the power of [immortality] to keep her youthful.

Limited to the space called Marchen Academy, there was no one in power superior to her. It was truly a superior being who had both beauty and ability.

… only in appearance.

“Bar, nice to meet you! Sir Magrio! ahaha! Oh, what a wonderful weather!”

After all, she was just a person who was struggling with money and power.

The center of academic administration, Bartos Hall. drawing room.

The door opened, and a woman came in, fluttering a white coat draped over her shoulders. It was Elena Woodlein, the headmaster of the Marchen Academy.

She gave a lively greeting to Magrio, the 4th Squadron of the Imperial Templars, the deputy commander of the Fenrir Knights, who was sitting on the sofa.

A cheerful voice was a habit. He was so nervous that his voice creaked like a machine. ‘Principal… ‘, Elena’s female secretary grumbled softly.

Magrio, a middle-aged male vice-captain, comfortably raised his arms to welcome Elena. Behind him, three knights with swords girded at their waists stood side by side.

Elena sat across from Magrio.

“Nice to meet you, Sir Elena.”

“What kind of tea do you like?!”

“For herbal tea.”

“yes! here! Two cups of herbal tea!”

Principal Elena makes a fuss-free order for his female secretary. He was clearly expressing the fact that he was nervous with his facial expressions and gestures.

‘Please keep your body, Principal… .’

The secretary sighed and went to drink herbal tea with her forehead on her forehead. Looking at the headmaster’s snoring, I felt dizzy.

“Is that, Sir Magrio? Why did you call me… ?”

“The Eltra Sea case is also under investigation, and we don’t have time with each other… . Let’s get right to the point.”

“Oh, you can!”

Elena tried to laugh leisurely, but could not stop the cold sweat flowing down.

air is heavy But now it was a familiar atmosphere.

Dozens of times to catch and evaluate investors who are leaving to finance their bachelor’s degree. How long have you been working until the Marchen Academy has the current defense system?

Is it the first-class to smile when you are having a hard time? It was Elena, who was smiling and dealing with this damn reality, so it was nothing new.

“What do you think, Sir Magrio wants to ask me directly… ?”

“… Why haven’t you found a nameless hero?”

Elena shakes her head.

“As you may know, we cannot get involved in academic administration under the treaty. In addition, the Academy’s confidential data can only be shared up to level 3. So there are limits to who the hero is.”

When Emperor Carlos von Kairos Eiffelto dispatched the Imperial Knights, he gave two orders.

Support Marchen Academy.

Investigate the cause of the frequent appearance of demons.

There were caveats to maintaining a good partnership with the academy and not to overburden them.

The academy is a place where students learn their studies. Wherever he went, the ground of learning was the divine law.

The treaty initially signed with the Academy stipulated that confidential data shared with the Imperial Templar would be limited to a maximum of Level 3.

Further sharing of data raised the risk of leakage of confidential information, and the Academy had no choice but to bear the burden.

It has been confirmed that there are ‘inners’ among those who can be involved in academic administration.

The Academy had no choice but to take a conservative attitude in case of data leakage and contingency due to data sharing.

“But the hero is presumed to be a student at the Marchen Academy. Aren’t the bachelors good at identifying students?”

The imperial knights dispatched from the academy had been closely observing and understood the difficult circumstances of the academy.

However, it was difficult to comprehend the academy’s track record, which still fails to catch a single clue of the nameless hero even after so much time has been poured into it.

“Yeah, that’s right… . Huh, Sir Magrio? It is understandable that you are wondering about the identity of the nameless hero. All, of course, will be closely related to your purpose.”

Just then, the female secretary took herbal tea and handed it to Elena and Magrio.

Elena’s hand trembling while holding the glass. She forgot the sensation of burning her tongue and drank hot herbal tea.

Elena continues to speak while making fun of her burnt tongue.

“However, it is our role to investigate him. It wouldn’t be something to be involved in… .”

“Sir Elena.”

“Yes Yes… ?”

“Your insight and fame are well known. After losing his strength and retiring, he is now working tirelessly for talented people who will lead the empire in the future. He is a man I respect.”

“Ah, yes, thank you… ?”

“therefore… No matter how much you think about it, I don’t think a person like you would have been able to spend time quietly. So, I’m going to ask you without any excuses.”

Magrio narrowed his eyes and asked in a sharp voice.

“Aren’t you deliberately not looking for him?”

“Ahahahaha!! A joke too! Absolutely not!”

Elena let out an exhilarating laugh with a bewildered face.

Magrio blinks his eyes.

“No, I am ignorant of the circumstances. A nameless hero is a powerful archmage capable of destroying even this world. We’re not the ones who dare to do anything. Since such a person is guarding the academy, I can understand even if they deliberately loosen the chase.”

“Wow! Jae, have fun!”

“Well, because of the treaty, we can’t touch the students.”

Magrio patted his chin. His short, squiggly beard stood out in particular.

“Sir Elena. The purpose of our coming here is to find out why demons often appear only here. It’s a yellow name.”

“Yeah… Joe.”

“As the best academy in the Empire, shouldn’t we further ensure the safety and educational opportunities of our students? If we fail, this academy cannot return to normal. That is for students, educators, and even for the empire… never a good thing An unnamed hero. Could he be the clue to solve the situation, the cause of this situation, or the key that points to the root of the situation?”

He was holding a light teacup that could not be compared to a sword without even moving. Magrio quietly looked down at the herbal tea, which did not even wave like a calm lake.

Demons, considered to be natural disasters, have appeared at the Marchen Academy several times.

On the surface, this appears to be a fatal story that the Academy’s defense system did not work properly, but as a result of investigation by the Imperial Knights, it was not such a problem.

In Marchen Academy, along with the magic of Aria Lilias, the master of Hegel’s tower, a detection network is installed up to the sky with the magic of the principal Elena. It is like a transparent membrane invisible to anyone’s eyes.

Thanks to this, if there was an external intrusion, the academy could immediately identify it.

However, most of the demons that have appeared so far have not been caught by Principal Elena’s detection net.

Principal Elena’s detection network is out of her control and arbitrarily constructed high-level magic.

To maintain the detection net, it is only necessary to occasionally charge magic power, so there was no reason for the detection net to be canceled while Elena was away.

“There is a secret hidden in this academy. Think about it. Even if the giant demons that appeared in the sea pass, how should the events of last year’s demons appear? I only loosened the border on the land bridge a bit only during vacations or when bringing in external materials, but at that time the demons sneaked in? There is no way I would have crawled in on my own feet, and I would have thoroughly inspected my luggage, right?”

Magrio continued talking while looking at the herbal tea.

“Or did something called ‘inside’ buy the guards? No way. The baggage inspection system is double and triple overlapping, and we all know how many people there are on our side. There are magic tools that provide long-distance vision, and there are even guards watching the situation from afar through a messenger. Buying them all is physically difficult, aside from financial issues.”

With each word Magrio continued, a cold sweat ran down Principal Elena’s face.

“Then, how about hiding in a magic pouch and infiltrating with the help of an insider? It’s also difficult. You can’t put living things into things with storage magic like that. Because the mana force master is against the storage magic.

What remains is the terrifying possibility that the demons were already inside… . I wonder how such a fact has not been discovered until now. Even if there are so many demons hidden on this island that people like us cannot find, it is a matter of considering why they are making a fuss ‘now’.”

Without taking a sip of the herbal tea, Magrio placed the glass on the table.

“All the answers… Maybe a nameless hero can teach you.”

An unnamed hero.

Every time a demon appears, he appears from a nearby place as if waiting for it.

As if knowing the future. As if he knew at least where the demons would appear.

Like… As if he knew all the truth.

“Once again, isn’t the nameless hero suspected of being a student at the Marchen Academy? We can’t get rid of the idea that the Academy is deliberately not looking for him.”

“That, that… ! It’s a problem we can’t make hasty decisions on, and we can’t even question students… !”

“I think.”

Magrio put her elbows on her legs and clasped her chin with her interlaced hands, glaring at Elena.

Numerous battles and bloody pasts were reflected in his eyes.

“The academy, which should take the most neutral position, seems to be in favor of a nameless hero… .”

“that… .”

“Useless conversation.”

As Elena was hesitating to answer, a soft voice came from the wrong place. Everyone’s eyes turned to the window where the sound was heard.

Heavy magical energy circulates through the drawing room.

A woman with a dwarf physique covered by a wizard’s robe stepped inside the window.

An old-fashioned hooded hat worn on the head. Reddish-brown hair blowing in the wind.

It was Arya Lilias, the master of Hegel’s tower.

“Sir Arya… ?”

Magrio’s eyes widened slightly.

“aria?! Why are you here?”

“The disciple came out to eat and drink, and then he heard something like that.”

“Your hobby is stealing… ?!”

Arya Lilias came down from the window and walked carefreely towards the sofa, ignoring Principal Elena’s pinzan.

Then, casually, I sat down next to the principal, Elena.

“where… .”

Aria with her legs crossed and looking at Magrio with the usual expressionless expression.

“Try it one more time. What is the nameless hero?”

  1. Jecket says:

No, No. The knight captain makes some sense. A lot of what he pointed out makes sense, especially the situation with demons appearing so frequently. However, it also makes sense to let the sleeping dogs lie, and not poke them and anger them.

    1. Dootdeedooterson says:

Agreed. From his perspective this doesn’t add up. And I doubt he wants hostility only to have questions answers. Most likely he came to that conclusion following much thought and decided they had no alternative. Dude doesn’t seem stupid just frustrated. Remember defensive battles are much harder then offensive ones

  2. G says:

Yeah, they should probably double down on finding the insider threat (which they know exists) instead of wasting resources pissing off the one guy holding things together.

  3. says:

This knight captain is braindead, why would you poke a sleeping bear!? Atleast the higher ups of the academy have a functional brain.
