I Became a Villain’s Hero chapter 98

98 - Archenemy (1)

98 – Archenemy (1)

When a masked man entered through the window, Song Soo-yeon thought that he had come.

It must have been the villain called Dice.

Liam told me. The other villains in the Alliance are also being hunted by him.

Trino, Liquid, and Stingshot, who seemed unlikely to lose, were completely defeated by him.

As a dice with incomprehensible fighting power, I thought he would find out his location in an incomprehensible way.

Solas, who was with him, immediately battled him, giving him time to escape…

It was useless.

It wasn’t without regret.

If I could still see Jung-gyeom’s face, I could have given everything I had.

However, she knew very well that it was a wish that could not come true.

He knew that the sin he had committed and the wounds he had inflicted on him were too great.

So, Song Soo-yeon did not run away. I gave up.

I started to prepare my heart.

If Solas wins, there will be no harm, but Dice is the person who disintegrated the villain alliance.

He is a person with the ability to do something that neither Solas nor Sheikh could do.

It was easy to predict that he would return.

-Kuddeuk…

While waiting like that, the sound of stepping on broken glass resonated in Jeong-gyeom’s studio.

Turning around, a masked man was standing there.

“…Dice?”

she asked.

Dyce stared at himself without answering.

“…Is it my turn now?”

“…”

“…Kill.”

she spat out.

“…Now anyway… There’s no point in living. I’d rather be comfortable this way.”

This was easier than jumping off a rooftop.

No matter how much you have no regrets about life, it is difficult to step towards death on your own. Even that took courage.

So it was convenient to borrow someone else’s hand.

Dice approached slowly.

As a result, Song Soo-yeon gritted her teeth.

Soon everything will be over.

Originally it should have been like this.

The death that should have come from the roof of the building was only delayed for a while.

Maybe I should be satisfied with the fact that I tasted happiness near Jeong-gyeom for a while.

I had a dream.

I wanted to pay back all my life from him.

There was also a personal desire to be deeply loved by him.

But I guess I’m asking for too much.

That was it.

The world was cursing her, and this familiar curse broke her.

…I was afraid of death, but perhaps because I had eaten it once, I was ready.

But something incomprehensible happened.

Dyce got down on one knee.

“…”

His hands trembled and moved to his cheeks.

Song Soo-yeon had a great reluctance to touch someone other than Jeong-gyeom, so she tried to get rid of that hand.

But Dyce’s arm didn’t shake at all.

Soon, his hand touched the ball. He also wiped the blood from his lips.

Song Soo-yeon is momentarily surprised by this familiar touch.

Unforgettable warmth finds her.

This was Jeonggyeom’s hand. I couldn’t know

…but it was just as confusing.

What is in front of your eyes is Dice, not Jeong-gyeom.

He is the one who destroyed the Villain Alliance.

was a capable

There was no way that he was Jeong-gyeom, who was called a hogura.

But why does he have the feeling of Jeong-gyeom?

The sound of the heart heard at the same time.

It’s been a long time since that ability came back.

‘…Soo-yeon, why are you doing this?’

Song Soo-yeon’s heart beats strongly.

It felt as if an electric current ran through my entire body.

There was only one person who called himself Soo-yeon.

My breathing quickened, and the possibility alone brought tears to my eyes.

I couldn’t believe it, but a powerless, desperate question flowed out of my teeth.

“……………….mister….?”

Dice’s body trembled at that title.

His eyes twinkled in the dark.

Song Soo-yeon’s chest ran out of breath.

-Pak!

Song Soo-yeon moved faster than anyone else.

He grabbed Jung-gyeom’s hand, which was touching his cheek.

I couldn’t believe it, but this was Jeong-gyeom.

There are things you can’t help but know without looking at their faces.

I heard the sound of my heart, and this familiar touch told me.

“Ah, are you uncle…? Uncle, right?”

“…….”

His eyes wander in bewilderment.

And in an instant, the man disappeared.

It becomes a black mist and his new form is scattered.

“…uh…? uh…?”

Song Soo-yeon struggled in the air to catch the fog.

But he didn’t come back.

Song Soo-yeon jumped up from her seat and looked around.

My head was dizzy from the quick awakening, but I was more curious about Jeong-gyeom’s whereabouts.

“mister….? mister….!”

Song Soo-yeon started to cry without realizing it.

Now the tears that I thought I had shed are welling up again.

Was he a dice? Was Jeonggyeom a talented person?

….it didn’t matter.

I just need Jung-gyeom to come back.

“mister…! Come back…!”

Song Soo-yeon shouted alone in the empty room.

“I was wrong!! Please… come back…!”

Tears fall drop by drop.

What was his heart like when he was betrayed and left, then came back and wiped the blood?

The way he came back after not being able to shake off his lingering feelings seemed to let him know how much he was hurt.

“mister….! mister….”

I had no choice but to accept the fact that he was gone.

Why did you call me by name?

If I knew it was him, I should have apologized first.

In the end, I couldn’t convey the words I wanted to convey the most.

It just baffled him like an idiot.

“…Huh…”

Song Soo-yeon fell to the floor again and covered her mouth with her hand.

swallow the flowing tears

But it was not enough.

She continued to shed tears.

****

I was quietly listening to Song Soo-yeon in the shadows.

I’m sorry, I miss you, come back, I love you…

etc.

These are words that cause pain rather than happiness.

I couldn’t leave her side for a long time.

He hid in the shadows until she fell asleep exhausted from crying.

And after seeing Song Soo-yeon like that, I was able to fully believe it.

What she said wasn’t a lie.

He said he wasn’t cheating on me.

Maybe I really became a villain because I didn’t want to lose myself to Solas.

I don’t know if he became a villain more simply because he was young, or because of his hatred for the world that was still left, or because of money, but it didn’t seem like his first purpose was to deceive me.

“…”

Why did this happen?

I come out of the shadows

I sat down on the floor and approached Song Soo-yeon, who was asleep on the bed.

Sitting on the bed… brushing her hair.

Even in her sleep, Song Soo-yeon inhaled unsteadily.

Crying was still there.

Maybe the world can’t be changed.

Maybe everything is going in the right order.

I became a villain again,

He became an enemy of Solas again.

Song Soo-yeon became Luna, and achieved the second place as the villain.

Am I putting too much effort into something that doesn’t change?

“…”

I closed my eyes. Let’s not think too complicated.

My head feels like it’s going to explode already.

It is not only Song Soo-yeon, but also the limit in thinking about Solas.

In any case, the fact that Song Soo-yeon and I are the villains has not changed.

Even if the sense of betrayal is diluted, we are still on this road.

I keep brushing the hair of Song Soo-yeon, who is sleeping.

She unconsciously followed my hand and rubbed her cheek.

“……mister…”

She even talks in her sleep. Do you see me even in your dreams?

The affection that I had been unknowingly buried blooms.

That feeling mixed with the sloppy feeling I was feeling now, and it became a confused feeling.

I looked down at her and bowed down.

I put my forehead on her forehead.

“……”

Then again, going into the shadows, he left her.

****

Han Yoo-jung said to Jeong-gyeom as soon as he entered the basement.

“Gyeom, I’m in the bathroom.”

“…”

Jeong-gyeom looked at her and opened the cage without a word.

Han Yoo-jung has been planning to get closer to him all day… but realizes that today is not the day.

He doesn’t seem to be in a good mood.

Rather, it looked sad. It looked like it would shed tears if touched.

“….What’s going on?”

In response to Han Yoo-jung’s question, Jeong-gyeom sent a sharp look.

“You said you were going to the bathroom.”

“…Ah, yes.”

Han Yu-jeong cautiously rose from her seat. And, following him, we started out of the basement.

Twice a day, she could go to the bathroom like this.

He knew very well that even this was due to Jeong-gyeom’s consideration.

However, there was no better opportunity for Han Yu-jeong.

I wasn’t looking for a way to escape.

I was just thinking of how to get to know him.

It was only at this moment that the iron bars did not block him and Jeong-gyeom.

In front of the bathroom, Jeong-gyeom leaned against a nearby wall.

Eyes that go blank right away.

I was in deep thought.

Han Yoo-jung looked at him…and threw a joke to lighten the mood.

“Aren’t you going to watch me?”

“…”

Jeonggyeom’s eyes moved and looked at him.

Han Yoo-jung asks with a smile.

“…You can come in and watch.”

Han Yoo-jung said as she opened the bathroom door.

“…run away?”

Jeonggyeom asks.

Han Yu-jeong laughed.

“…no. I was just kidding. I want you to look bad.”

“…”

After saying that, Han Yu-jeong went into the bathroom.

.

.

.

When Han Yu-jeong came out again, Jeong-gyeom let out a long sigh.

A sigh as if promising something.

He raised his head and approached Han Yu-jeong.

Han Yu-jeong took a step back without realizing it and leaned against the bathroom door.

“…why…that’s…”

“Han Yu-jeong.”

“………yes?”

he asked earnestly.

“…Luna…Why did you join the Union?”

“…”

“…tell me.”

A request, not an inquiry from before.

It was clear that a big change had taken place in him.

If I answered now, it seemed that Jung-gyeom would never find him again.

Haven’t gotten to know each other yet.

I needed more time.

“…”

…But, looking at that expression, I couldn’t hide it any longer.

When you ask for a favor with such an expression, how can you refuse?

I couldn’t help but say

Han Yu-jeong opened her mouth.

“…I’m telling you…then do me one favor.”

“……”

To say such a thing as a prisoner was to cross the line.

However, Han Yu-jeong had no other choice.

In order to reveal the only one he had, he needed another one.

Jeonggyeom didn’t answer.

Han Yu-jeong accepted it positively.

“…I won’t run away. I will not leave this hideout. get me out of the window So, eat with me every day. I will cook too.”

“…”

“…My goal after returning was to find you. It’s okay as long as you hand me over to the Association…until then…huh?”

“…”

“Ah, they said they brought liquid and sting shots. I will take care of them too.”

“…you…”

“I don’t think it’s strange. I can’t run away from you anyway. If you put your mind to it, you’ll catch it right away… It’s about helping you avoid doing troublesome things.”

Jeonggyeom frowned.

It merges with the sad atmosphere he had previously and becomes more pitiful.

Han Yu-jung wanted to say what he wanted urgently, but she exercised patience and forced him to make a choice.

It was also important to her.

I didn’t want to completely cut ties with him.

“…”

Jeonggyeom pondered for a long time, then nodded briefly.

While looking forward to having a meal with him in the future, Han Yoo-jung became jealous of him even doing such a favor for Luna.

But swallowing those emotions, I raised my head.

“Did you say Luna’s goal?”

“…uh.”

“There were three things, and the first was money.”

Jeonggyeom nodded. As if such a motive is understandable.

“The second is to destroy Solas.”

He nodded his head as if he had already expected the second part.

Likewise, Han Yu-jeong did not feel much pressure to say this far.

The last one was the problem.

Judging by Jeong-gyeom’s behavior, it was clear that something was going on with Luna.

Also, you can quickly guess who Luna’s ‘man she wants to flirt with’ is.

Maybe the two hearts are already connected?

Han Yu-jeong hesitated for a while at that thought, but… she didn’t want to lie.

I didn’t want to fool such an innocent man.

“…The third one asked me to help her connect with the man she loves. He said he didn’t know how.”

“……”

Jeong-gyeom stiffens. Then I slowly closed my eyes.

He took a deep breath for a long time… and nodded again.

Then he slowly turned around and left to rest.

As promised, he did not lock Han Yu-jeong back in the basement.

  1. D F D F says:

Glad Stella is not a b*tch

  2. Extra says:

Soo-Yeon now knows that the MC is Dice. Good.

Honestly, I vastly understimated the MC’s judgement skills. He started believing Soo-Yeon’s reasons for becoming a Villain a lot sooner than I expected. So props to him for that.

I thought Stella too, would do some BS like lie about Soo-Yeon’s final goal to the MC. But fortunately she didn’t, and that’s great to see.

I’m liking how things are flowing so far.
