Incompatible Interspecies Wives chapter 107

107 - Master of Heroes (2)

107 – Teacher of Heroes (2)

It’s been a while since I exchanged glances with a man called Gale.

I looked behind me and saw Adam hyung pushing the members.

“…”

Adam’s older brother confirmed that he was a man named Gail, and he froze in place.

The expression gradually darkened.

On the other hand, a man named Gail smiled gently. He asks.

“How are you, Adam?”

“…”

“…I’m glad it worked out.”

Gail’s words about knowing Adam didn’t seem like a lie.

My brother said that he had been so stiff for a while.

“…Why are you here?”

A look that seems to have swallowed many words and questions.

Soon Gail saw me.

“I came to see a young man named Berg.”

“…….”

Adam hyung’s expression sank even more heavily.

The older brother turned around and said.

“Let’s talk inside. Berg, ignore that man and leave.”

You handed me your last goodbye.

“Didn’t Berg come to see you too?”

However, Gail tells Adam who turns around like that.

Adam’s gaze briefly reached me.

“… Ha.”

And then, he sighed as if he didn’t like the whole situation.

As I couldn’t understand anything, I just looked at the two in turn.

“…Berg. You can leave.”

Adam said again.

Gail looked at me this time and said.

“Don’t leave. It’s an important story.”

Arwin momentarily grabbed my arm and said.

“…Berg. I think it would be good to listen to Gail-sama.”

I looked at Arwin with an expression demanding an explanation.

“…You are not evil. I didn’t expect to find Berg at all… But if you’re here, there must be a reason.”

Maybe it was because Adam had a negative attitude.

Even I take a negative attitude.

“Who are you?”

As I asked, Arwin answered.

“He is the best warrior of the Yongin people.”

“…The best warrior?”

“It means the strongest person.”

I got the impression that he was strong, but with the title of the best warrior attached to him, I became even more curious.

Why did such a person come to me?

“Ah.”

As if he remembered something, Arwin added an explanation.

“You are known as the master of the warrior party.”

“…………”

For an instant, my heart hardens.

I blinked and looked at Arwin.

“…What?”

Then he looked at Gale.

Gail stared at me with a calm expression.

I remember what Gale said to me earlier.

‘You know that too. Berg. He’s just as handsome as I’ve heard.’

At the same time, someone’s voice rang out.

‘Why do you keep getting handsome, Belle?’

His eyebrows twitched on their own.

Maybe it was my misunderstanding that they seemed related.

“…”

Gail wasn’t taking her eyes off me.

I’ve been like that ever since I realized that he was the teacher of the warriors.

My brother put an end to this situation.

He sighed and said.

“…Sorry, Berg. Wait a minute.”

I nodded.

It was only then that my brother moved to my house.

Gail moves both legs to follow him.

I got off my horse too.

****

“I never thought I would become a mercenary, Adam.”

Gail said to Adam as she moved on.

“Is this even a precursor to the prophecy?”

Adam ignored all of Gail’s words.

I didn’t want to say anything until I got home.

It was Adam who never thought he would come.

I thought the relationship with Gale was cut off too naturally.

After walking without saying anything, we arrive home.

Adam looked back in front of the gate.

Looking at the two men who followed her.

Gail and Berg.

“…”

Berg looked puzzled. I had no choice but to.

Adam and Berg have been careful about talking about each other’s past.

As both of them climbed up from the mercenary end, they both expected that there would be a painful past to act like that.

Only recently did Adam learn about Berg’s painful past. Even he had to listen to adjust the situation. If he could not have listened, he would not have listened out of consideration.

But now a glimpse of his past has been revealed.

Adam looked at Berg.

“…”

…I’m sorry, but I’m not ready yet.

Maybe because he was closer to Berg, he didn’t want to reveal his private parts.

“…Berg. Give me a seat.”

And then, he opened the door to Gail, who was making a puzzled expression, and said.

“Come in.”

“To talk to Berg-“

“-Come in.”

With Adam’s determination, Gail finally entered the house as if it had nothing to do with it.

Berg nodded without saying anything.

Adam gave him a short nod, then entered the house and shut the door.

-Kiik…Kung.

Adam walked over to his desk with a sigh.

Gail froze in front of the door, looking in the direction of the closed door.

The direction Berg was standing.

“You have a little brother, Adam.”

“…”

“…Maybe it was because of longing for your younger siblings who left first.”

Once the personal space was arranged, Gale stopped talking.

Adam gritted his teeth. He said to Gail, who momentarily poked at his weakness.

It has been a long time since someone knew about his painful past.

“Why did you suddenly come to me?”

“Can’t you speak more kindly to your teacher?”

“What is the teacher…”

Adam sighed.

It was early in the morning, but I picked up the bottle.

It was a difficult moment to endure without getting drunk.

“…I asked why you came.”

Adam asked again as he poured wine into his glass.

Gail answered as she sat down in a nearby seat.

“Didn’t you tell me? He said he came to see Berg.”

Adam shook his head.

“…Go back. Leave Berg alone.”

“I have to do this too, Adam.”

– Kung!

Adam put the bottle down forcefully.

“…Ha ha.”

And then he let out an annoyed sigh.

Adam hushed his voice and spoke. He did not hide his hostility.

“…Because I’m not enough, you’re going to bring the story of Rin’s fighter to Berg as well?”

“…”

In the distant past, when Adam was taught by Gale.

I heard that Gail has a duty. He heard that it was a prophecy given by a famous fortune teller in Blackwood.

I have to lead five fighters to kill intelligent demons.

The god of courage, Mand.

From noble mtl dot com

God of War, Diane.

Nikal, God of Harmony.

Hea, the god of chastity.

God of solitude, Rin.

The beings chosen by these gods appeared and fought against the demons.

As all four fighters had patterns engraved on their bodies, it was not difficult to identify them.

It was possible to know which being was chosen by which god.

However, there was no pattern for Rin’s warrior, so it was impossible to properly identify it.

Even Gale couldn’t find Rin’s fighter.

So from then on, I heard he took care of people who looked deserving.

Adam was one of them.

Of course, when I was learning skills from Gale at the time, I thought it was the old Dragon race’s nonsense… But I couldn’t help but believe it after the fighters really appeared.

It was the moment when the fighting techniques he had learned without paying were intertwined with a heavy fate.

Of course, Gale said that he had many disciples.

It was unknown which of them might be Rin’s fighter…But it was Adam who thought maybe she might be herself.

In the midst of that, Gale came back.

Adam broke his glass, drank, and glared at Gail.

“How long are you going to do that? How many more victims are you trying to create?”

“That sounds strange, Adam. It’s not like you’re a Rin fighter just because you’re under my guidance.”

“You should only say that to the Lizardman, who was killed two years ago, and who was chosen as a champion of Rin.”

“…Thrykal wasn’t just a fighter for solitude. It hurt me more than you imagined.”

Adam clicked his tongue.

There is no end to this quarrel.

As for Adam, he reversed the prophecy.

Rather than being guided by Gail because she was a fighter for Rin, I wondered if she could become a fighter for Rin because she was also Gail.

If she wasn’t guided by Gale, she might be able to avoid her duty as a fighter for Rin.

Of course, this was a question without an answer.

It’s a question of whether the chicken or the egg came first.

Nevertheless, Adam wanted to stop Gale from approaching Berg.

“…I thought he was a geek from the beginning, but he’s still the same.”

Adam asks Gail out of frustration.

“What are you doing doing this to do you any good?”

“The world will become more peaceful.”

“I mean, who the hell dreams of that?”

“Aren’t you dreaming a wild dream too?”

“…”

Gail continued.

“…Well, I didn’t come here to ask for your permission. It’s not like I’m the type to care about that in the first place. Now that I’ve said goodbye to you, let’s go talk to Berg.”

Adam let out another long sigh.

At that heavy breath, even Gail hesitated for a moment.

“…”

Adam soon relaxed and drained the hostility from his voice.

I understood to some extent that the stubbornness of the Yongin could not be broken.

“…Berg is my little brother.”

Adam said to Gail. There was no way that Gail, who knew Adam’s past, did not know what this meant.

“…Berg has had a hard life too. Now he was going to find some peace. Can’t we just leave it alone?”

Before bringing in his wives, he was a faltering berg.

He seemed to be having a hard time living in the mercenary company.

His self-reproach deepened, and the time to honor his departed colleagues grew longer.

The war was coming to an end, and I was afraid that I would not be able to stand it and collapse.

It was Adam who worked hard for him.

Thanks to that, it was nice to see Berg enjoying his life with his wives and going on trips.

Does he have to risk taking on strange duties again?

Can’t we live a little more quietly?

“…”

Gail softened her expression at Adam’s words.

He said with a sigh.

“I know, Adam. If he really thought of Berg as his younger brother… He would be anxious.”

“…”

“But if Berg is really a fighter for Rin. If you are one of those who should be taught by me…”

“…”

“…You may regret this moment in the future. If you do not receive my help, you may be weighed down by fate.”

Adam averted his gaze at those words.

When her weak side was momentarily revealed, Gail was forced to make a brutal choice.

The sharpness of the best warrior is revealed.

“Then, I will follow your choice.”

“…”

“If you tell me not to approach your brother, I will leave without regret.”

Gail asked one last time.

“…How can I do it?”

  1. huehue huehue says:

Damn, fate really is just playing Berg bruh. He hates Gods, and now he has to fight because of them.

  2. Extra Extra says:

Berg is the Goddess of Solitude’s (Rin’s) chosen Hero. I’m almost certain of it, at this point.

I made a comment in an earlier chapter that voiced these suspicions, and now we see here in this chapter, the mention of how Rin’s hero doesn’t have a mark/pattern. That new piece of info only solidifies those earlier suspicions I had.
