The social hierarchy is not refined and doesn’t even have an ounce of accuracy. Koreans authors tend to not care for the “medieval” part of medieval fantasy stories. How can anyone write these nonsensical and weird interpretations and twist the influences is beyond me. That being said, I really doubt the same consideration would’ve been shown had the positions were reversed and Korean influenced medieval fantasy was popular instead. I’d bet they would be much more critical of the accuracy. Whatever. It’s trash. Laughable, but not at all amusing.
Read a couple of chapters, it’s very well written. Slow pacing but uses a lot of descriptors that sets-up the world, characters, and action. The author uses great prose and it even shows even through MTL. Very fantasy with realistic moments that makes it dark. MC is an Imperial Agent that seeks out disturbances in the Empire.
A little heavier reading than what most people would be used to on this site but it’s good so far.

All style no substance. So far, I would rate 9/17

After seeing the cover, my mind goes: LET THE AUTHOR COOK! LET HIM COOK!

I’ve been imagining the mc talking like an elegant englishman and it really works with immersion.
Waiting for reviews
what is this!?
a novel with ‘paparazi’ as the base!?
interesting
That is one bad*ss cover and synopsis seems a bit interesting, also no harem or romance tag? Time to deep dive in.
The cover look kinda sick
Well it’s been a while since I commented. First I am. 1
Is your name a ORV reference? junghyeok?
Oh, your name is one of the sickest second name that I’ve seen in my entire reading life including the demon king of salvation
