I think you have to appreciate Greek tragedy and the tragedy of the Trojan war to appreciate this work.

It’s a very slow burn. Basically first arc to reveal the story takes 10s of chapters which set up his character and then end with him making a decision.

It’s not a story for someone who wish to see pure action power fantasy. It’s a slow burn of retelling of what happen if this story is retold with a 21st century phd candidate in history is thrown into a mythology.

To note: this work when it ends can be a really good greek tragedy but I doubt it will because from the tone of it so far, while filled with political intrigues and nerves, feel like a Korean-feel good story.

    Spoiler below

The decision to give the Apple to Aphrodite is to ensure that the events will at least be consistent. Fighting against known events is better than non known events because you can prepare your best for it. In fact he even address afterwards that despite trying to follow the myth, his actions may have cause various unknown variables.

I don’t really know how you read it but it’s not because everything was set.

First of all the mc was trying to run away from his fate which is why in the beginning he didn’t know his true name and it sounded gibberish because he was hidden from fate by the Gods the mc has already started using his <modern knowledge which already changed a lot and also the reason why everything was set was to avoid destiny being twisted too much they even stopped time for the mc to make his decision him choosing the goddess to affect little to him after all If he planned to follow everything to wolrd he wouldn't because he knows he would die.

  5. Ask_Ether says:

After reading a lot of chapters in. His name is vital to the plot and would be revealed a few chapters

  6. vektor 189 vektor 189 says:

Idiot drama. What’s the point of having a hard choice if you don’t have any choice? The MC is essentially just a robot that follows what has been set for him. What’s the fun in choosing among the three goddesses, if everyone knows how the competition will end? Why not just announce the winner then?
Okay, maybe the Moiras are so powerful, but then why don’t they just turn him into a robot, why leave the will in a situation where he cannot manifest it? I may not have read enough chapters, but in any case, this work disappointed me. I thought he would show at least some initiative.
And what was the meaning of the intrigue with the name? Well, even if he remembered, would it change at least something?
My final verdict is that it’s okay to read if you’re just interested in the historical setting, but as a story, it sucks.

  7. Fortnite Battlepass says:

What’s the name of the MC? All I see is a bunch of symbols.

  8. Ask_Ether says:

    Not really accurate review.

The story seems pretty well just as the short description says. It is about a korean in 21st century sent back to greek era. The start was pretty okay and so on till chapter 15(latest) and so far it doesn’t bore me. To say the least the mc struggled with the change of culture but because he has knowledge of various old literatures he didn’t mind. However, in one occasion he tried to be free and explore on his own but realize how dark and depth the morals of the world so he had no choice but to adapt instead.

  9. Ask_Ether says:

Let me try the shallow toxic waters
