I actually pretty enjoyed.
It is not as bad as everyone says… Read it till chapter 50. Mc is only a dormat in the first few chapters cause the previous soul residing in his body is one. In the latter half he gon be tryin to step up by learning magic to help his comrades (which is actually him doin so to go solo). Interactions with the heroines are not bad too.. Been only reading stuff with 9 plus ratings so sometimes i overlooked good stuff from 8.9 below… Actually a good read
Read 5 chapters, MC felt like a door mat… Getting trampled everywhere by everyone… Dropped right there… Don’t wanna read life struggle of some door mat.

If at least most of the novels that are requested are garbage, then this is the trash can. It’s not gold, but it probably won’t make you tear your head out.

To all people always asking why mc are dense, because if mc is in love with too many women or gets in relationship with multiple women he will feel like trash or playing with other girls. Also author doesn’t know what relationships are actually like and can’t make the drama, as when we actually get into relationship we face many problems which would take out the , i don’t know exact word , but kind of idealness of the relationship, kind of like reward which we feel after winning something and after getting into relationship its just like they lived happily ever after. So being dense is plot device which you have to bear if you want harem with non asshat mc

One good example is that otome mob manga, in which he is reincarnated into world of otome game his sister played. The harem was good and mc was not that dense, plus plot didn’t go off line

MC is pretty whiny at first impression. He’s not even treated that badly as is typical of these Isekaied Hero Party Porter novels. Is also dense. Who even likes these dense MCs and why do authors keep making them?

It’s probably because they are pretty easy to make. The author don’t have to think too much about their reaction to being confessed or feeling atraction, because they will neither understand anything or act on those feelings until the harem reaches critical mass.
It is one of the three worst tropes in web novels – the dense MC, the beta / cuck MC, and the “must hide my powers” because “reasons” MC. Any two or more of these in one novel is poison. JP web novels are normally much worse about this, which is why I read a lot more Korean web novels, but it does show up there as well.
The Eminence in Shadow masters the, “I must hide my powers because reasons”. Altho the harem doesn’t matter too much in it if you mean that they don’t date anyone by beta. I don’t mind that in TEiS.
How can anyone be a porter without regret? This is some rulebreaking daring move we have here.
