    Just utterly dull – couldn’t get past the 20s. Too much time spent on when they were kids. No real romance. Nothing to recommend this.

    Reminds me of “Ghost Story Club” and it follows a similar premise of finding ghosts.

    Difference is that the MC is GSC is fighting a demon lord and discussing urban legends like red or blue paper, “I heard my mother call my name from downstairs. I moved to go downstairs when my mother pulled me into my room saying ‘I heard it too!’” And etc.

    It’s a cute story. Pacing is pretty good. Story starts with MC at around age 10 in elementary school, for a certain reason, MC is trying to see ghosts. He is unsuccessful until he suddenly shares a class with FMC, platinum blonde mixed race girl, future shaman, and daughter of a famous Korean shaman mother and foreigner father. After that he develops a relationship with FMC and every arc involves solving a ghost problem.

    At around 20 chapters they enter 1st year high school. I would say it’s a romance between MC and childhood friend exorcist. I like the pacing, character development is smooth.

      Of course the thriller can be the ghosts, but the fact that there isn’t a romance tag on a novel with a ‘Girlfriend’ in the title is highly suspicious.
