Some Korean novels do the same, foreign villains of rival countries (ie, japan/china) without racism.

I do agree, though, that there are many that go this route AND are racist about it.

There’s a way to write it without racism, but many novels fail in that regard.

One of the best ways is to show people of the antagonist’s origin (japanese/chinese/whatever) that aren’t caricatures and also fight back against the villain.

@Zero it’s a novel I straight up won’t read because it’s a lame story about a loser, with no real plot to back it, as far as I read. Nothing exciting or interesting.

I’d give it a 2/10.
