well I managed to read up to 50 chapters (I know insane) of this novel and all I can say is wow did I not expect something like this novel to even exist. So before going through the pros and cons here’s the basic premise

Are you bored of the usual overpowered, lucky and justice-seeking protagonist which seem to get girls out of their mama’s buttholes? THEN this is for you (not really) the author flips your dreamy table of happy fantasy, creating a story about someone who is not just unlucky, but also untalented and is suffering a lot. He is abused, borderline tortured and receives so much emotional pain that I very well cried over 5 times just getting up to 50 chapters because of the amount of dread i felt.

Are you a masochist? some of you may ask, the simple answer is yes, the long answer is kinda? because what truly made me connect with this story is the PROTAGONIST yes never have i seen in a copy pasta industry, a protagonist so original, real and well realistic. The author of this book did very very very well in depicting choices, concequences, dillemas and how someone would act if they were put into situasions, how it explored depression and the negative negative sides of life truly astonishes me because it was actually GOOD and realistic.

I have always been a fan of physchology and history so reading this felt acurate? to say the least and that is what sold it to me in the first place.

in one of the best chapters in this novel, im not joking our main character almost killed someone HMMM who might that person be if it wasnt for himself !! HAHAHAHA.HAha…ha. jokes aside, he actually almost killed someone but i wont spoil it for you and aside from that the foreshadoing in this story is chef kiss

Im getting ahead of myself so heres the pros and cons in my opinion.

Pros:

– Realistic: events don’t feel forced, situations feel real, conflicts and evil don’t disappear, characters learn and the people in this novel change in real time making you able to feel the story as something truly wow.

– Pain: I dont know about most of you, but i really like crying to stories and feeling the gratification that is sad people having good endings, this novel makes villains actual people and not just robots and it made me both feel a lot of pain and a lot of happiness when they achieve their happy ending.

-PEOPLE: yes some characters feel a bit off-tune after 35~ chapters or so especially when the author started rushing the harem (I hate the harem) BUT the characters in this novel is wow, the people who try to help or even the people who gossip have their reasons and do those in subtle and realistic ways, and their actions actually have reason (which i really like) and a lot of foreshadowing(which i personally love)

CONS:

THE HAREM: WHAT WHY WOULD IT BE A HAREM??????/!!!!!!! I didn’t read the tag at first so when I went back and saw it was a harem I was on the borderline of dropping it. First of all, there is an obvious winner here (I say while raising a crown to one of the girls in this novel) and the other harem member interactions feel somewhat forced?

Broken MC: half through this novel, bro literally broke, he snapped. Everyone predicted it beforehand the foreshadowing was serious when it said yes this guy is gonna break and wow did he break. I actually liked this progression. does this make me a sadist or masochist? probably both. But it was done really well so props to the author
