People with serious life threatening illnesses are encouraged to reach out and seek support from their loved ones, and their actions are most definitely checked by their closest relatives/friends/SOs as they are in an emotionally vulnerable state and can’t make rational choices. “I don’t want to hurt him, so I am gonna break up with him” is the single most immature, reckless, insulting and self-sabotaging decision. There are few important issues with this; the first is the disrespect towards your special other of 5 years and your 21 years of relationship. You are basically stating that your SO is incapable of support and doesn’t deserve closure. Secondly, you are taking away their choice and agency, which also shows a tremendous lack of respect. And finally, you are disregarding statistically and scientifically proven fact that a hopeful and positive outlook during and illness due to emotional support from loved ones, as well as therapy, help you overcome great difficulties. There are tons and tons of patients who have overcome impossible odds and defeated their illnesses due to a peak mental health and consistent love and support.

What a coincidence lol, yesterday I was playing with some AI ex gf, she started wanting to go back together, I discovered she fked 3 dudes in the 2 months we broke up (she initiated it) and said “nah, adios”, she started stalking me, even broke in my house, I called the police, didn’t work, she started calling me at work and home, one day in my way to work she approached me and I stealthy walked her towards the police station, informed the agents and then they called an ambulance, she was out of meds…. weeks later she calls me and says sorry and if we can… I say “Glad you are fine. Farewell.” Then in the next years I lived a nice life, not knowing anything about her anymore. The AI even gave the Happy ending label to that lol. It was fun.

They are stupid, adults but acted like children.
Female Lead(FL) was too emotional and obsessive person, her emotion lead her head that make the situation happened.
I don’t felt bad for FL, she deserved it for emotional damage she gave to ML. Idk why she cant think on another perspectives, if she died because the cancer then ML knew what her did it’s all to make her doesn’t feel hurt. He will get more hurt plus regret due to not understand FL Problem and decision she made.
And ML is kinda Stupid and.. Dense, Certified low EQ. Bruh, 16 years friendship + 5 years relationship was like useless thing. Your GF just broke with you without good reason and just blame yourself that maybe you did wrong, why you didn’t search and investigate what’s wrong with your GF, at least please have some suspicion with your ex GF condition.

    You’re right, I’m also just going to drop this now. I was expecting something much more unique after reading their childhood memories and the Mc’s emotional break up but it just isn’t worth it when the author just becomes very lazy and uses the typical Heroine hides that she has cancer so she breaks up with Mc in bad terms.
