I awakened an ability for five lives. I have a lifespan of 30 years and can reincarnate four times, and the last life can be lived with a normal lifespan.
So, after living four lives, my last life has begun.
Perhaps because I lived too spectacularly in my previous lives, I wanted to live my final life leisurely, maybe just working as a hunter.
But a week before I took the academy entrance exam, the wives I made in another world tore through dimensions to find me.
Oh my goodness
This is a book mixed with poison at a ratio of 2:1, I think? There’s a lot to praise about the work, but there are also annoying tropes added to the book without any serious justification. For example, we have a good story about the protagonist’s first wife and interesting other girls from his past lives, but despite obvious cliches, the main character doesn’t understand his childhood friend’s feelings. We have an interesting male friend, and the main character is able to accurately assess his real level of strength, but as always, he doesn’t want to stand out and live a leisurely life, which doesn’t make sense since “fatigue” and other feelings from past lives couldn’t be transferred to this one. It would be more logical if the main character simply thought he was born with a huge wealth of knowledge and skills, but I suppose making such a protagonist interesting is difficult. Overall, this book is good, but I expected more due to the positive comments, so I probably won’t continue reading…
I agree with the Two above me, am not interested in the academy since it devolves into mindless harem
It does get boring, it was fun while it lasts.
I liked it at first but the parts that aren’t flashbacks of his past life are boring. Including the characters.
It may be just be me though
I agree with the above posts that the setup for this novel is relatively novel (pun intended), and the use of fixed reincarnations wherein between reincarnations MC preserved his memories but not any “feelings” for the FMCs / wives gave at least some sense of legitimacy to the relationship resets. However, the novel devolves into an academy setting, comedic, likely to unresolved harem with elements of hiding powers and “slow life” trope (at least in the 20 or so chapters I read before I gave up). Since it combines almost every trope I dislike (other than dense MC) this is absolute poison for me, but others may enjoy it if that’s your cup of tea.
As an aside, can someone explain in chaps 14-15 why Alice peed herself? It didn’t make sense to me.
Should of there Harem tag here?
Oops. I re-read your revuew and realized that you said you liked it despite it’s trashy flaws.
Sorry for that.
@Jahe Manis. You underestimate the harem lovers suspension of disbelief. This revew of yours will only push back the casual readers, but the harem lovers will gobble this up.
But, although I do agree that the mc is a bit stupud to marry with his limited lifespan, but he’s ultimately human that can fall in love, lose to love, and succumb to love. Not only that, but the mc himself did not want wives at all. First life he fell in love with heavenly demon so he accepted her proposal. Second, he was chased by the saint despute her knowing that he had an ex wife and courted him eagerly for years. Third, the girl straight up schrodinger the hell out of mc. Plus the heroines accepting the mc having had multiple wives is because they are mature people who have a little (surprisingly for harem members) rationality to know that mc loses his emotions every life lived, ergo will not have any attachment to his previous wife.
Although those explanations can be seen as a little stretched, at least the author went to good lengths to make his harem premise work with as little suspension of disbelief as possible.
I myself am a harem hater but I still review objectively and not hate on genres for genres. It’s all a matter of taste.
Writer: I have a unique harem story idea. The MC has skill that let him have 5 lives, and he will pass away when he is 30 years old. In lives 2,3, and 4, he married the heroine and left them when he died.
Editor: Wow, so the MC knew he would be dead at 30, still married and let them be widowed. What an irresponsible man. Author: Yes, when he died in his 4th life, he returned to his original world. All his wives found the MC live in another world and entered the MC world using the gate.
Editor: So his three wives find the MC disloyal and get married every time he is reincarnated, they must be willing to divorce and retaliate against the MC
Author: No sir, they will fight each other to stand by MC only side
Editor: As expected of trash web novel. I like it
I can’t quite understand the translation!
I was cunfused about the heroines names..
And what are they talking about?
This seems good. I don’t like harem too much so I eventually dropped. But objectively, it really is a decent read.
The flashbacks are short, but heart filled and can make you cry. The present plot with the yandere wives going to the academy with mc is a little too much for non harem liker me, but I also know that the narrative and contents fit well with the things the harem lovers demographic would love.
So, all in all, from a guy who does not luke harem, it’s good enough to be enjoyable.
The plot does not concern any hugher purpise, it’s all the harem and the rediscovery of emotions for all his wives over time.
Por qué no hay tag harem a pesar del titulo y la sinopsis? No hay harem? 😢
Take note:
Before turning 30 … you must marry a girl !
*Yandere alert
