I can’t believe it, I finally found a misunderstanding gag novel I personally dislike. I never knew it was possible. I’ll just say it, this novel is horrible and a complete waste of time. But as respect to tradition and authors who still put effort in their works, I’ll still review it.

MC is transported to a game world where he is given a gift by the goddess: the ability to “repair” anything by tapping it 3 times with a hammer. I use the term repair loosely because it’s more of like thr ability to make anything perfect with 3 taps of a hammer. Anyways, he goes to the city where the academy is so that he can open a shop near the area where the main characters will be. This kind of cliche setup usually tickles my fancy but this novel does a lot of things bad that pulls it down. Before I complain though, let’s start with the good things.

Uhm. The sub characters are okay. They’re cliche but they’re okay. The harem is there. Ugh I give up. I just want to complain now.

First of all, what is this ability? Make anything perfect with 3 hammer taps? Who allowed this? It completely makes the MC basically a god. He can make old bread to fresh bread, swords missing their own blades back to perfect form and even heal wounds BY TAPPING WITH A HAMMER 3 TIMES. It’s just stupid like it really is. No matter how overpowered an ability is, it has to make sense. Does his ability make something reverse its molecules and form into its previous perfect state? No, because he repaired a crystal full on impurities and it became clear an perfect. So does his ability just make something perfect? How about the human body, how does that work? It doesn’t make sense and I hate his ability to the bone.

Second, the unnecessary and completely illogical misunderstandings. The head of an information guild thinks the MC is a complete bigshot. Why? Because he knew that the information guild exists? Doesn’t make any sense. Besides, even if it did make sense, what’s the point? The MC established himself as a guy who doesn’t know anything cuz he’s from the far land of the east. He barely understands how rare ability users are. What’s the point of the bigshot reputation then?

Lastly, this MC is just stupid. He barely understands what power he has. Think of it this way, if some big powerful family finds out a random guy can make ANYTHING perfect, why wouldn’t they just kidnap him? The entire premise of this novel of a guy making a small repair shop falls because his ability is simply too strong. It is godly and divine yet he acts like a bumpkin. I don’t care if he doesn’t use his power to its full potential, I just want him to understand why it’s too strong for his own good.

Besides, he barely hides it. Some girl accuses him of faking his repairs and he just shows her how he does it immediately by tapping an old dagger 3 times with a hammer in front of her. It’s ridiculous. This is some random girl and he claims to know how he should keep his power a secret. But he doesn’t hesitate to show how he does it to a random person? This is just ridiculous.

Rant over. First gag misunderstanding novel I didn’t enjoy. It’s not worth the time. Unless you are really into wish fulfillment even when it doesn’t make any sense. I tent to try to find at least a grain of reasonability but this novel is too illogical for me.
