I Pretended To Have Amnesia and the Hero’s Party Becomes Obsessed

Ofc the heroine, doesn’t have the same thought, they feel its their fault the MC is living a miserable existence, being technically almost undead (more than half of his body is machinery and for the ppl at that time he looks more undead than human) right now (50 chapter in) the MC managed to “rescue” one of the 3 (SPOILER>> 5 <<SPOILER) heroines and from what i read just one of the heroine past with the mc is pretty mess up.

What i like about this is how nonchalant the MC is but later realized what he just shrugged off might be massive trauma for the heroine, and he is not dense as can see the heroine like him and later notice their regret

The heroines obsession and trauma were also shown, each of them cope with their trauma differently, one decide to turn everything under her feet and gave it all including herself to the MC, one choose to stay stagnant and not move forward, and one resort to self harm and depravity. All of that with a lot of self hate.

I think the story work because of the relationship between MC and the heroines, and how the interact with each other, now the MC decision to pretend to have amnesia is a cowardly move, but the heroines are all cowards in their own way too.

And (SPOILER) The pretend doesn't really last long as 20 chapters in and the mc already drop the charade (SPOILER)

TL;DR
Its a good read, MC dont have any hatred toward the heroines but the heroines are obsessed with trying to redeem themselves. The main story overall is about the MC realizing their regret and trying to patch it up, ofc it wont be easy.

IME says:

it’s a 7/10 for me.

other “regret” novels I’ve read were just being betrayed and the MC’s feelings getting hurt because of that or his family die etc

but this time, it’s something new for me.

MC lost his legs, arms, voice and even his left eye due to a tragedy in the past.
