Really good, I was not disappointed when I hesitated because of the 8.6 star rating, it was a pleasant read and without the fuss, the mc is really very strong, not dense and is sincere with the feelings towards women and the harem even if this part progresses slowly, in short despite some small clichés I recommend for those who like op mc and harem
Basically, this is a super poison, very dangerous
drop it at chapter 39. feels like a very low effort novel, the only good thing is the start. the dean of the greatest academy city is so pathetic that it make no sense that the academy had a high reputation. even students buy their way in. the author made males characters so pathetic to make the mc look much better. the author just write something the he/she think is cool without thinking about it too much. logic does not apply on this novel.
Thanks to the reviewers.
The other reviews sum it up well, so I’ll make mine short.
.
It was good until he went to the Academy.
Then…
Cliche – Cliche – Cliche – Another Cliche – More Cliche, over and over forever.
I gave up on Chapter 27. Such a shame.
Ch.11
dropped, I’m tired of the masochist mc who hide his power even when his strong, just for him to get underestimated and abused for no reason (although I did find some novel that become entertaining because the reason why they are hiding there power is unique, logical, makes sense or most of all It didn’t get irritating)
The world building, setting and the uniqueness of the story where he can only use passive skill is good….
But It’s already typical for this type of novel to suddenly turn bad once they enter the academy more so If this is what they did after the childhood part, so yeah kinda expected It.
Granted I haven’t read past chapter 15 but from the looks of it it would have that annoyibg japanese trope where he is being looked down on by everyone beacuse the beautiful geniuses would flock to him because they happen to discover his “true power”. But of course he’s gotta look over it and let everyone step over him so he could “hide his power”.
Dropped. I was disappointed… At first it was well known around that he as a child is a genius that awakened mana alone and young as well.
But then there was a sudden tonal shift where he hides his strength and ends up in class B. Now, his fiance and bro are geniuses with their own titles, his fiance loves him, and his bro idolizes him.
You see where I’m getting at? It would probably have those brain dead “You don’t deserve to be liked by the genius” tropes. It’s annoying. He was already the absolute strongest student smh.
The hiding power thing is reasonable but this is a novel. First and foremost it has to click. It did not click and the whole hiding powers premise turned from something that should’ve been cool and reasonable into a trope that became a turn off and a disappointment.
Added to the backlog.
There are so many great games coming out soon, so I’ll be spending a lot less time reading.
man, we need more modern novel.. sick of fantasy genre.
Feels like reading a Japanese isekai novel
It’s not for me
Slice of life….. hmm… gotta dive in
Adios
So….
Mc is a Glass cannon build?
