To be fair, this novel has a good premise.and i know what the author wants to tell.
But there were some technical issues in his writing so there were some fatal holes (I don’t mean to talk about translators). So I understand why most people who have read don’t like it. I’ve read it to the end and I’ve enjoyed it. But I wouldn’t recommend this novel to people who don’t like dark novels
The plot twists in this are great and a lot of the story is quite good but some parts of it are such trash that it brings this story’s value to 0.
This one is a weird one. Beware spoilers:
I read most of it but at some point the Mc just decides that he won’t save the humanity as a hero. And then he goes full Thanos “Fine. I’ll do it myself” and start destroying it.
Not only that most characters here (which are representitives of humanity in this case) are absurdly trash that common sense cannot be applied. And they are mostly stupid.
Even then I was really suprised that Mc starts destroying everything. I thought it was a dream plot. Because it was absurd and excessive. That’s why I didn’t finish through the end.
I liked some characters but in the end I think this story had a lot of wasted potential. I don’t recommend this.
Actually the plot twists, characters etc are pretty good too, but I dislike the developments. So that’s why I don’t recommend. And the overall story isn’t that great, there are way better novels on this site
But I am gonna be honest, the only thing good about this novel is how trash die and nothing else. You can read it, but I will never recommend this.

Well I was wrong, disregard most of the things i said up there, This is not that dark a novel if you see the last 6 chapters, it is a bit dark and sad but the ending is really great. You can try reading the last 6 chapters for a very brief and confusing summary of this novel. The ending was suprisingly light and a bit sad(not very sad though, it was almost fufilling).
This novel is the literal embodiment of the saying- “There is no innocence, only varying degrees of guilt”.
And as you might know, no innocence = no mercy.
Wow This is dark stuff and I am not even halfway through. Like this is probably one of the darkest novels I have ever read. Sadists in particular will really enjoy this novel, since the majority of it is just suffering. And I have never read about a more ruthless Protagonist, I mean evil ren and voldemort are a joke compared to this guy.

About this one, I like the premise and plot, isn’t bad at all, the problem is the ejecution, it looks like as if was writed by a kid who cant organize its ideas and put random things in the spur of the moment.
The characters are boring and one dimensionals, no exceptions.
As for MC, I didn’t like him, he is boring and lacks sustance.
Only read this if you haven’t anything else, but I sugest to turn off your brain before doing it.

Was reading this until I read the summaries in the comments above and decided to skim to the end.

The MC is unlikeable and frankly, insufferable. Trash.

Characters and settings are worthless and even predictable. All the characters are one dimensional. There are three types of major characters, evil ones who think that they were right and didn’t have any sympathy towards MC or never repented properly, moderate ones who repented, and the loyal ones who never doubted MC.
In the whole story MC killed the first one, converted the second one to his side, and then took the third ones as his allies. You can put all the characters in to three simple predictable categories. It’s boring as hell, but still I kept on reading it with the hope that finale will be good, but that is also just bad and tasteless and even made whole story worthless.
You see, as per end the humans became “corrupted” as they got knowledge and real goal of MC was to kill them off and reset the mankind. Okay, what next? He left the world to never come back. After that? I can strongly believe that the whole cycle will repeat as humans in order to survive among the powerful demons and elves will use their tools and will be called “corrupted” again. Once again the story will be repeated and a hero or a destroyer who will repeat the cycle apear. That’s why I call the story useless. Only thing MC got after his journey is the elf queen as his wife, that’s it, as even his magic was used completely in the last chapter.
First off, I want to thank Noble for all their effort and for continually putting up stories.
Now onto the story itself, while I actually enjoy the theme of stories like this, the problem is they tend to be pretty mediocre in general and not very well done. This one here is no different, pretty much stock standard revenge, humans are bad, and power fantasy trip. It’s basically okay as a time killer if you have absolutely nothing to read. All in all I found it pretty mediocre.
If you are looking for something more in-depth with an interesting plot I suggest you look elsewhere.

Not my most entertaining read but it wasnt that bad. Thought it was a typical regret hero party where mc ignores the hero party but that Shit went from 0-100 real quick. MF went from decent dude to a devil in a span of 2 chaps.
God damn i didnt think it would be this dark. MF went from a slightly moral dude to a literal devil in 2 chapters.
I can see how dark it is just by reading the chapter titles. Seriously, those titles sure are something…
Gosh! The plot was very dark… The second half of the story was just slaughter and gore… It was literally slaughter and gore… It was a one time read for me… Overall a good read probably… This is the only Korean novel which I have read, where MC is really, I mean perfectly ruthless.

Not really my cup of tea… but it was an okay read I guess. Try out a few chapters, I’d say around up to chapter 11 and see if you like it or not.
