Plot: MC is an awkward and simple minded person. He confessed his love toward FML and got rejected. So what did he do next? He spontaneously decided to leave academics and join army. Believe that it will heal his heart. MC joined as a foot soldier, not a military officer. (note MC is a noble child, many of whom are always placed in military offices). Unfortunately, war broke between human and elves. The military then propagandize status of MC as a foot soldier to carry out large-scale recruitment. His name become popular when he entered army and the military still used his name even after he quit. The MC world is similar to the middle ages with the development of guns and magic weapons. MC remembers his past as a soldier, so he can adapt to war and come out as a war hero. 3.5 years later MC decided to quit the army and reenter academics again as freshman, believe he won’t meet people around his age as they they will graduate in half year. Then he met again with FML. So FML feels guilty because he thinks he entered the military because he was rejected. The story will revolve around the relationship between ML and FML and the threat of another war with the elves.
