While I don´t like the MC at all, at least he´s midly entertaining, which is not that great of a compliment, and well…he´s the best thing in this novel. Seriously most of the characters feel like NPCs, from a bad 90´s RPG. Read it all, and I´m questioning my life choices, bland, boring, brainless… this has it all, what an awful read, but maybe it´s because I may have some kind of brain damage/rot I read it all, and didn´t stop. I think I need to touch grass, like now.

MC who’ll I call something generic or korean-ish, like Cho Hyujin or something is a fervent hater, he is the most professional hater in the world even. But his goal is to piss off a god author so he can be reincarnated into another world for some reason. He just thinks it’s fun.
Oh yes and I’ll add in a childhood friend who is a…. Possessor! Who had white hair!!!! From a fantasy world!!! Now she has an ugly plain blackish brown brunette silky black style hair 🤢🤢
And the setting, it takes place in modern day! So it’s pretty boring so I’ll make it a comedy. Let’s make it a harem too, cat fights are really boring so let’s make it so they duel with yugioh cards or something like that since childhood friend was a magic card user in her previous life and the MC virginity is the prize. I didn’t say what type of virginity, so it may as well be finger licking virginity or KFC eating virginity
Oh my, I didn’t even explain the story well! Hehe oh well, too bad too sad.

MC, a possessor, is a butler for the great grand princess of a great strong empire, but the problem is that she’s a tyrant!!
Yes she’s like:
“Ooooh mr butler please come warm my bed!”
“mr butler I heard you like white hairs! well I guess we should marry fufufufu”
“You were talking to a maid? Hmph her entire family lineage shall be executed”
And the one day, the original protagonist who happens to be a female!!! with cool shiny dark blue hair, infiltrates the imperial palace with the mission to just spy. But then she sees pitiful MC and says “aww I’ll take him with me once I leave (totally no dubious intentions)”
and then I run out of thinking power so that’s it for now.
Brother, haven’t you thought about writing a novel?
I was interested in that plot and now I want more, take out part 2.

Test Results: It’s good.
I binged all 50 chapters in a row and had a jolly good time, I quite enjoyed reading this novel.
It’s better than many novels on here, with a coherent plot and interesting characters.
The tags are all accurate, though I will say, while there are small pseudo-hints of some characters having “obsessive love,” in the 50 chapters I read, this tag never really comes into play.
Overall: I recommend reading it.

While this story is no masterpiece, I found it to be more interesting than other regret novels I read.
It’s decent and worth a read.
That said, upon reading other people’s comments, I do understand their critiques and agree with some of them. (ie, Empire unrealistically dumb af, etc)
i do admit it is better than most poison and its no masterpiece. however the party and empire are so unbelively stupid im supised their alive.
like hating the hero for not liking god(realistic but stupid) and not killing the demon lord. Its a demon not a rabit.
author is like in ther teenage years or in their 20s
Hating the hero for not worshipping the Goddess was actually something I thought was quite clever.
Also, I don’t think our MC failed to kill the Demon Lord/King on purpose, at least from what I gathered. It seemed like he was evenly matched with the Demon Lord.
That said, all your other points ring true.
I will give u guys a easy example to see how bad it is.
Hero party got excited.
Hero party got sad.
Hero part pooped on their pants.

Thats how they “talk”
Hero party have 0 personality.
The entire war took only 1 year.
Lack of logic in every little detail too, i mean look at hero party.
It’s a template regret story. Useless hero party leaves defeating the waifu Dk to mc alone but when he gets a draw they abonding him. After next heroes fail people notice they are useless so they try to go back to Mc. What is different tho Mc doesn’t immediately find other waifus but children who would become potential big shots later. Like a princess who becomes king/queen and a beast girl who will probably become a famous adventurer.
Red all 50 chapters summery (spoilers):
– A bland story of regret.
– Hero fights the (female) demon king (super strong) and it is a draw
– Hero kicked out because reasons thinking that he is weak
– 3 new heros chosen and all die (all of them are like: ‘This demon king is sooooooo strong, I regret being foolish!’)
– Party members try to find old hero
– Meanwhile the old hero is setting up a harem of a beggar who is suprise suprise a princess, an annoying beastman and an irritating nymph
3/10 bland

So in summary a hero named Lee something is summoned to the empire. He works for a year and then is dismissed for not killing the demon lord. The demon lord is a strong loli girl which why wouldn’t she be, the empire thinks the lord is weak. The story follows. I read all 50 chapters to save you from pain.
What happens: Heros goes meets a girl, actually the princess saves her gets beastgirl, etc. Empire gets a new hero which is old but strong but still dies. Then another one is weaker than the old but wants to be king. Then a pervert hero comes and becomes the next hero and also dies. He says he wants a slave Loli demon lord lol. Then the party realizes their mistake and comes to try to find Lee. This takes 50 goddamn chapters!
Party:
Saint: Trash hates Lee for not believing in god. I hope she is gone (censor)
Elve: Pride idk what other traits she has.
Other members: idk they were just side characters.
Princess: Probably only waifu maybe.
I only like the empire hero part of the story, Lee’s part is boring but I have poison tolerance 4
Overall: 4/10
