  1. Willbeblack says:

Wheres the next chapter ….. i need it

  2. @Canele Don’t forget there is already an academy helicopter

  3. Shadow says:

Wow the story got dark in that arc, The story is a bit slow paced compared to what I would like but the characters as well as the villains are properly fleshed out and are interesting and the mc isn’t a munchkin and does make and learn from mistakes. I would rate it a solid 8.5/10.

Plus the mtl is on the better side for everything except character names but at least those are consistent.

[P.S: Human Rights Advocate character refers to a must have character for clearing a game and the story isn’t racist or discriminatory and doesn’t point fingers at any IRL nations or people]

  4. RealEason says:

aight finished this one… It’s actually not that bad. 8/10

  5. Wry Vent Wry Vent says:

MC has played a gacha game for 3 years. The game is filthy difficult, but there is a 4-star character that is an OP support that makes the game a lot easier. So people call it the devs giving human rights to the players. And playing the game without that character is like having no human rights, which the MC was unlucky enough to never pull him.

MC then possesses that character the day he finally pulled him and has to save the world. Setting is standard, academy island where people with powers are trained to combat monsters invading from other dimensions.

It’s rather interesting seeing MC use knowledge from the game and how it reflects in his new reality. Like this person was a strong 3-star, that guy is the weakest 5-star, etc.

  6. Puta says:

Mc do be liking them armpits tho, just sharing

  7. its just a must-have character in the game. units in top of tier list.

  8. nishino says:

the words human rights advocate is stopping me from reading this

  9. Zorrow says:

MTL is like a whole new language now

  10. ImanDBZ says:

I’m still waiting for academy’s janitor

  11. Canele says:

First we got the munchkin, the overgeared, then breeding uncle, stagnant water, ping pong nam, also golden sun… now we got human rights advocate… What’s next? Academy’s Bicycle?

  12. Arcus 101 Arcus 101 says:

@LuxX The thing is, this one isn’t about social issues. It’s some gaming term that is used commonly in that country probably.

  13. LuxX says:

Bruh, it seems the academy novel is extending its influence to social issues. I just saw a novel ‘Asian’ about racism… Authors have a problem with novel titles.

  14. RealEason says:

    sigh… here we go again

  15. Arcus 101 Arcus 101 says:

@Reader Thanks for the explanation, it makes a lot more sense now.

Also, I think it was because I was quite sleepy but for a moment there I read the title as ‘Became a Hitman Rights Advocate’ and seriously imagine the MC going “Hitmans have rights too!”

  16. Reader says:

Apparently, human rights advocate in this context means a character you must have to play the game reasonably. If you don’t use them the difficulty spikes and the game thrashes you as if you have no human rights.

  17. Ask_Ether says:

    Seriously…? Human rights character?

  18. CrovoloDesu says:

Me da buenas vibras por alguna razón, espero no equivocarme.
