Synopsis Everyone Said They Were My Lover in a Dream

“What do you mean, you and I were angels serving the Lord together?”

It seems she is claiming we were angels who received punishment from God and became humans.

“You died because of my shortcomings… This time will be different.”

She seems to think we were lovers in a past life, and was reborn due to my sacrifice.

“It was thanks to you that the empire functioned… But I didn’t know that. Only after abandoning you and losing everything was I able to realize.”

They all seem to be having strange dreams where I appear.

It seems everyone is having strange dreams with me appearing in them, though I don’t know anything about such dream contents.

  1. Dagonsuznyz says:

He didn’t wash his hands after peeing. I have no words to describe how angry I am now. My day is ruined. 1/17

  2. The author just speedrun the romance here huh.

    No development.
They skip it just by saying they have dream that in the past they are lover, hence they must like MC.

    That’s just lazy.

  3. Concept had potential. Unfortunately it was ruined by bad writing. The pacing is very fast. The author doesn’t give time to establish the images for the heroines. In the first 5 chapter he adds 2 -3 heroines and then doesn’t explain why they like the mc at all. Also the mc is very different from the mc explained in the dreams which the heroins saw. They literally like the mc because he has the same face. I could do plastic surgery and bed them.

  4. There’s literally nothing in this.. Its totally bland.. Quite confused with the flow of plot and the mtl ruined it.

  5. Zzz says:

6.2/10 readable if you are bored

First of all it is not best novel out there, that is for sure. I also have no idea about yugioh references or whatnot from other comments but i feel like mtl portrayed this novel as worse than it actually is:
There are times it gets really annoying to read translation because of mixed timelines.

Except that the story doesnt have much of an essence either, quite shallow.

Now stay with me. Main story is boring so far. The other world dreams however was quite fun to read. It is as if there are several short stories ongoing at the same time.

Main world is meh in all aspects but you can somehow treat it as a comedy and you are good to go

If you dont abhor harem novels it is readable. Dont be scared, give it a try.

Oh also, no real regret in this novel so far just the girls ‘regretting’ how they had caused death of mc on main world

    1. Zzz says:

On their previous world* not main world

  6. This is an decent one. Dont care about comments below. At least, it should be 6.5-7/10. Generic but fun, reasonable plot, better than academy clown. If u run out of good novel, why dont give it a try.
    -Kuuhaku-

    1. Laki says:

That’s reasonable. I’ve just kinda developed a harsh adversion for these kinds of stories after reading them so often.

      1. Yeah too much fantasy harem novels make us picky.

    2. Zzz says:

Nah nevermind better, this is not anywhere close to being as good as clown
      Still it is readable see

  7. Arcus101 says:

Ah, Mr.Grin, you’re back. At least it’s you than that stupid frog.

  8. Big Blackclock says:

This novel is literally author’s wet dream. Getting powers from dream. Getting girls because of dreams.😐😐

  9. milky violet says:

Ugh, white hair ruined by bad story… ahhhhhh if only it could’ve been more gag and comedic I could’ve kept reading.

  10. Laki says:

Read 50 chapters. It’s incredibly generic. It feels like the author doesn’t know what direction they want to take the story. Not a painful read, but a massive waste of time. 3/10

The most entertaining part on this was finding the poorly translated Yu-Gi-Oh references. The main character is likely based on Visas Starfrost. They both go to different worlds, experience different versions of themselves, and absorbs the strengths of his other selves.

    Vissus Secretary –> Visas Starfrost
Granguignol –> Granguignol the Dusk Dragon
    Loubellion –> The Bestial Lubellion
Cartesia –> Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous
Diabelle –> Diabellestar the Black Witch
Nabe Schraig –> Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen
    Robina –> Floowandereeze & Robina
Beatrice –> Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal
    Jenice –> Jenis, Lightsworn Mender(?)
Albahyr –> Aluber the Jester of Despia(?)

    1. rob z rob z says:

Good job on the Yu-Gi-Oh catch. And the 3/10 rating seems fair to me.

  11. rob z rob z says:

I didn’t take my own advice and tried to read this. It’s trash. Utterly cliche, harem academy trash.

MC is a possessor who takes over a character in a fantasy novel/game world whose name is translated in at least 12 different ways that I have counted so far: Viscus, Vissus, Bissus, Bersius, Beosus, Bierce, etc. However, he is universally referred to as a Secretary, so that is what I will call him.

The secretary MC character he takes over is a viscount destined to die early in the story as a cheap villain. So MC tries to train himself to the max as he is growing up to prevent a bad end, but fails – he is still a weakling at the time he is supposed to join the Adacemy. Thus, when he heads to the academy, he decides to steal all the good stuff that he has knowledge of from the original story and take over for the original protagonist. This involves stepping into the protagonist’s meetings with each of the three main FMCs – a saintess, the daughter of the leader of the republic, and the princess of the empire. (Note: there are more potential harem members than just these three, but these three are the main FMCs).

    SPOILER WARNING:

The story the MC enters is a yuri harem with a crossdressing female protagonist.

So MC tries to intervene in the first main FMC’s story (the saintess), but instead of the cliche bumping into each other, she stops just before they do, and tells him she was looking for him, and they were angels and lovers in their past life (none of which is in the original story). But like Eve, she fed him the forbidden fruit, so God (Deus) cast them both to earth and wiped their memories; she only remembers this story because of a dream she had. And of course she wants to get back together.

Similar stories happen for the other two FMCs, who are both regressors; and in each of their past lives, the secretary was the most important person to them. (MC battled the demon king with the daughter of the leader of the republic, and helped the princess become empress and became prime minister. He dies in each of those lives one way or another because of the FMC.)

So typical harem stupidity ensues, with all three FMCs trying to claim MC. MC starts becoming powerful because he has dreams and gains powers from his other lives (e.g., master swordsman), and much of the story related to exploring his pasts as he is recalling through his dreams. Lots of stuff about demons / devils / demon king. And all the Academy harem cliches are there, right down to the loli headmistress.

So, nothing to recommend this unless you are a desperate harem fan.

  12. Jajaja says:

I give up reading this, i cant even get past chapter 1. Anybody here willing to take a deeper dive ?

    1. rob z rob z says:

I did – see above. I regret it.

  13. Hell knight says:

Wait chapter there is no chapter 43 and 44😱

  14. Who am I? says:

    This title…
Is this author wet dream lol

  15. Big Blackclock says:

Harem, obsessive love,8.8 rating and regret with op protagonist. Oh no.

    1. rob z rob z says:

Yeah, this has all the hallmarks of a trash novel. Waiting for poison testers to come back alive.

  16. Insufferable says:

Oh? Why does this sh*tty grin infuriate me more than the frog
