This was a fun read.

The MC is similar with the Mc in “inside an adult game as a former hero”, but less unhinged. Also the Mc has genuinely no idea about the original storyline since he didnt read it. He gets his information from the heroines who has knowledge of the original works. I think this one is good since the Mc is already really strong because he was a completed hero back in his previous world, and thats why I think the flaw of not knowing anything is a good one to “sorta balanced” him out.

The female leads are fun to read since they have interesting and varying personalities. My favorite one so far is Laura who can command a scene she is in.

But what draws me in is the setting and plot. Now I have to admit the world building aspect is slow and at times frustratingly misplaced. Like for example the setting of the original novel was only “explored” at least 20 chapters in and before that I was thoroughly confused on the mechanics of original novel. But other than that the “rules” are definitely cohesive, and I’m looking forward to how much the story will develop.

Also in previous comments there were mentions about whether or not the MC went and did an “r18”. But its just the beginning of the story so there is none yet prolly for a long time, and I also think it is wayyyyy to early to bother with such things since they have yet to connect on an emotional level, for one the MC has yet to air out his past grievances in his previous world.Make no mistake the Mc is not a wuss. He is a completed hero and thats why his personality is more calm and matured. He goes to understand his situation first before acting. His choices were never “ohhh this wuss got scared” but rather “that was the best possible move at the time”
