On chapter 85 now, this story does story arcs really well. The pacing is great and the translation is good too. The story is weak to strong from childhood. A bit out dated as the readers are used to skipping these arcs through transmigration, rebirth And so on. The beginning is the characters as small children and their slice of life childhood. It sets up their personalities and goals in life, what drives them, a spark of romance and revenge.

The second arc has th leave th initial village and their initial goal of killingonsters is quickly eroded by politics and rebellion. It also shows that the world is complex, characters are scheming, evil, and have goals of their own. Just because mc and friend are the main characters that doesn’t mean everything goes their way. People don’t bend their actions and will around mc too much.

The third arc sets up previously foreshadowed world building, the overall evenly of humanity and the characters choice in moving forward.

Wow honestly this story is really good but it’s a bit late, sort of like writing a story that would have been popular 10 or 15 years ago. When it wpuld have had time to grow a reader base and readers who had the patience to read weak to strong stories with minor training arcs. Good story, but maybe not the right fit for today’s readers who are used to instant gratification.

Wow, this story is great. Chapter 27 had such a great build up, wow the author could have ended his story here and the story could have been successful.
