It’s a good city building novel.
MC falls into a fantasy novel 5 years ago. He makes a name for himself as a war strategist against demon/monster invasion. But strange thing is, the main character of the novel never appeared. 2 years ago after the war ended, he took an admin position in the top knight order while looking for the main character. But he finally had enough of his muscle brained superiors and quits. He ends up chilling in an admin role in the boonies, doing the same stuff just in a better work environment, raising up the local knight order, making trade deals, managing roads/ore mines/dungeons, etc.

Well, that is a decent title at least more original than some that I’ve seen lately. Though I’m not sure the plot is for me from what I’ve seen in the comments here.

I’m only on chapter three but it’s like what milky said, this a managing novel, like civil servant in rofan. And plot wise it’s really like it to, first off the novel started with our mc already in the novel world and he’s been there for 5 years, which is basically civil servant. But the thing is that instead of staying in the job like Karl, he goes to the captain and just slaps her(that’s what I call gender equality) and leaves and then three years later he start doing administration again.
Btw he is the chief administrator of the knight force or something

Yeah I don’t like managing type novels, it gets boring real fast. It’s like watching paint dry. Cool end but super boring process, even with the obsession tag I’m not gonna trudge through the boring managing first.
