  2. Noah Lambert says:

So I just completed reading all the current 100 chapters that have been updated. For my review I will say it is one of the best Novels in the site. Unlike other novels that try to complicate the plot with more twists and turns than you would want, and with unreasonable interactions among the characters, This is a very simple novel with a very basic plot. It emphasizes much more on the mental and physical growth of the protagonist than the plot itself while adding new and interesting characters that help us delve more into the background of the world and the various beliefs that the people around carry.
The narration plays the key role to the development and achievements of the Mc, Yunoa, by giving him important details on the situations he is going through all while adding humor to the plot.
It is a lot more enjoyable and light read of a novel. Its like you will never get addicted to this novel and yet will come back to check when this novel will getting updated again.
Character designs are all unique and fun, and the growth of the protagonist up to the last chapter has been the most remarkable among all the novels mcs I have seen. Still there are aspects in the growth that could be explored when we learn of his potential for growth.
Another regret of the novel is we don’t have much scope for Mc to end up with Tina (The previous saintess candidate who didn’t wear undies to prevent the God from showing her the hero). She is a good friend like character now, not much involved in the plot and acts like a supporting npc in games. Previously Mc had a few expectations, but since she became an adventurer guild receptionist their relation hasn’t made much progress. Then there is the Kudere girl, Mileia, with the highest probability of ending up with the mc. This Novel is slowly laying the ground work for an Harem though. But its still far off. As of now only Mileia, Sylphy(his junior), Mariel (Genius and eccentric magician) have shown obsession over the Mc.
My rating for the novel is 9.8/10.
P.S:- If someone needs a small outline for the novel, tell me. I will give you a short summary. But the summary will be like a Pokémon game walkthrough.

  3. kiyo says:

Great read 9.5/10 for me. It feels like a lot of people are more accustomed to reading poison these days on this site. If you want to cleanse your palate, give this a try. Your favorite bronze ranked adventurer died? It can happen. If death of on screen characters was a sign of a bad story, Attack on titans wouldn’t be as popular as it is. The author of this novel doesn’t shy away from mature concepts which is a plus on my view. Characters don’t fall for the mc outta nowhere and there are no yandere/tsundere tropes here as well. It’s just a well written novel that doesn’t take itself too seriously or too lightly.

  4. It could be say that it’s an isekai Korean Story meets The Stanley Parable.

It’s surprisingly well written and as of 100 chapters, it’s one of the more enjoyable novels on this site and would recommend giving it a try.

At first it feels like a comedy, and the situation is often played more in a comedic overtone when dealing with the MC, but it also doesn’t shy away from introducing darker themes.

The main leads have decent personalities and aren’t completely one dimensional.

So far, there is no romance, but that will probably change as the story continues.

Probably the biggest problem with the novel, is that it lacks depth in a lot of areas. So while the novel can be enjoyable to read, it doesn’t draw you in like others. Even when something that should have more impact happens, like say death, it gives you more of that feeling of “Oh, okay.”

So while it’s an enjoyable novel to read, I wouldn’t say it’s an impactful novel. Not by a long shot.

If you go into reading this novel, I would recommend treating it as a light read. Thankfully, it’s writer doesn’t take themselves seriously so it doesn’t try to introduce overly complicated things in an attempt to make an ‘interesting’ twist.

  5. obsess says:

    No Harem
    No obsession
    7/10 for that

  6. Chance Chance says:

After reading to chapter 100, I can say for sure, this novel is now beyond a 9/10. 9.5 out of 10 for suresies now.

Also, cliffhanger at chapter 100, hopefully this gets updated in the future.

    1. But for me, with the death of Oren, it’s just 7/10

  7. Rissira says:

    1. Poison Tester says:

It have potential to get harem genre(99%) but I don’t see romance stuff.

  9. amogustimestwo says:

Can’t believe everyone’s ignoring Oren’s death. Even the MC. Poor Oren…

  10. Jyasam says:

  11. TheDiir says:

  15. Luiz Felipe says:

One of the best novels on this site

  16. aiden pendragon says:

one of the best i have ever read in this web 9/10

  17. Rader says:

One of the best novel on the site. Easy 9/10.

I don’t spoil anything in good novels and this is the one example, so don’t bother read reviews and just go read it.

  18. Cero says:

I like this novel, the Mc has a good evolution and the narrator bothers him but without becoming abusive or losing his humor.

  19. It’s one of the better novels on this sight. The basic premise of the story is that the MC was isekai’d by accident into a fantasy world, and all he’s given to help him is a narrator that only he can hear detailing his actions along with what’s happening around him. In the beginning, it was hilarious because whenever the MC thought he was potentially destined to do something great, the narrator immediately shuts him down and insults him with the reality. And the way the narrator speaks about the MC sometimes, if that were a real person talking to me like that, I’d have to fight them on principle to keep my pride as a man.

The good thing about this MC is that even though in the beginning he was offended by what the narrator was saying about him, he eventually accepted that the narrator was right about most of the things they said about him, even though the things they say about him are never nice. In a sense, the MC is grateful to the narrator in a twisted sense because within those toxic insults is the truth that allows for the MC to improve. As the story goes on, the MC is no longer even offended by what the narrator says about him most of the time, he only uses the insults as a lesson to improve himself, which I like.

Since this is an isekai story, the appearance of the hero is inevitable. And yes, you guessed it, he’s a piece of trash. The hero is not a summoned person, but a person born into the fantasy world and lived in the slums while working his way up doing heinous crimes until he became a notorious criminal. But make no mistake about it, just because he is the hero doesn’t mean people like him. No one likes him, but they have to deal with him because he’s the only one who can defeat the Demon Lord, and that is also the only thing he can do as well. When he even had an inkling of abandoning his mission to live a life of degeneracy, he was hit with a painful reminder of his mission. Things don’t get better for him when the Demon King sends someone to assassinate him. The assassination fails, but the Hero is so devastated by his situation that he admits he wants to go back to living in the slums, only for the painful reminder to come back with full force.

In terms of romance, there is none as of yet, but if I’ve learned anything about these Korean novels, it’s that a harem is an inevitability. The foundation is there for the harem: a former Saintess who never wears underwear who was saved by the MC from death, a beast girl who is grateful to the MC because he saved her from almost becoming a slave, a legendary Gold-Rank adventurer (possibly be the strongest person in the world) who is grateful to the MC for keeping her grounded, a fellow adventurer who was saved by the MC during the Silver-Rank Test, hell, even the 10-year-old ghost girl might end up being aged up if I’ve learned anything about these novels. And the fact that the Demon King is a girl, she’s a future harem member if I’ve ever seen one.

Overall, after reading 44 chapters, I’d give this a 9/10, based on the standards of the novels on this site.

  20. Cho Ger Cho Ger says:

This is fun and interesting, the narrative was not annoying it roles is like a system in normal manhwa except it only function is narrative lol. Anyway overall it is a fun read.

  21. Chance Chance says:

Personally, I think this novel is one of the best novels on the website. 9/10

  22. amogustimestwo says:

It’s good. The only low point is that the MC stops developing his character at some point which was the point of the narrator, at least imo. Also spoiler but:

One of his friends die and then he barely mourns him and uses him as an excuse instead. I hope maybe later the narrator can fix this. Also I hate how he can care about one person’s feelings who he doesn’t know but then doesn’t care about another person who he doesn’t know.

Overall, it’s a good concept and could’ve ended up as one of the best novels on the site. The only problem is the author. There’s not really a harem although, it could be seen as if there was, but there’s no hint of romantic interest from any of them. The main problem is the MC’s personality. It’d be fine if it’s just a delusional teen turning into a man but, there’s not enough of that so far.

  23. Suherman Joshua says:

Apart from the comments below, I like stories about growing MC types from weak and low self-esteem to strong and confident, which is what this story is about. Yes, MC is the loser in the original world and is thrown into a world where demons and humans fight continuously. Demon kings and heroes will always appear and repeat the hatred cycle. It seems like the MC was sent to end this cycle. Romance is not a strong point, even though the author introduces many female characters and one is strong female adventure with gold rank and she very obsessed with the MC. MC, who initially suddenly throw in to new world, don’t have anything, even no clothes and became a beggar, but later become church cleaner, herbalist and finally became an adventure novice. Yes, he is dreaming to become adventurer and hero like story he read. Of course the narrator always remind him he not the choosen one. The narrator, who always criticizes the MC, ironically becomes an encouragement for the MC to be better himself. MC is morally high even though the narrative calls him trash human. The choosen hero is trash and the demon king paranoid girl.

  24. Bob Marley Bob Marley says:

Mc gets daily dose of trash talk, whenever he feels like he’s worth something and might be able to do anything he gets narrated the reasons why he’s not going to make it, that it ain’t possible or that the narrator would like to see him try only for him to fail.

In short it’s a stroy about getting hit with a reality check everytime mc gets a lil bit “cocky” but Isekai

It’s like modern western man simulator but you have a Devout Modern Feminist in your head(yes this sentence is exaggerated) but isekai.

Not for me but it might appeal to you. After all I already have my own share of getting dunked on irl

    1. Bob Marley Bob Marley says:

On a positive note it’s like reading “Stanley’s parable” except you have no choice

  25. Imagine a narrator within narration. This is like inception

  26. Luiz Felipe says:

    Lil bro has schizophrenia

  27. Cero says:

The beginning is like japanese novel with the Mc thinking about becoming an op hero, but the world and the narrator are in charge of returning him yo reality 🤔.

  28. Jahe Manis says:

The story about an outcast and hikikomori neet, who wants to escape to another world and is ridiculed by the author’s narration, how stupid he was to think that going to another world, his life could change. Yeah it’s fun story, I think
