Only Bad thing about this novel is hiding the identity. It’s amazing that a regret novel is quite fine if you consider other things.
But yeah, he should have used his identity from the start since he don’t even care about the ones who abandoned him. And this would have helped him too as he could have created two identities, one the Grange Mage who is the professor and other the Kyle who is working in shadows.
Such a shame, novel could have been way more exciting if Author plotted based on the character of the Protagonist. We have a protagonist who went from doing hard work to seeking validation from those who abandoned him to be the Grand Mage devoted to magic and improving whole civilization. For such a guy fame or infamy don’t matter and since he is not even an introvert he would have not cared if his real identity got leaked as he never tried to hide it after becoming Grand Mage, till now that is after Author forced his trope. I kinda hate it when characters are forced to do things outside of their character just because of “plot” or without any reason.

  It is not that bad. You can treat it as a fanfiction of the original novel. It is less complex and has only one original heroine instead of two. But progress is faster and maybe it will be finished this time.

25 chaps here, what everyone said is the truth. This story is pretty… meh, it takes all the things from other novels we read here and makes a mess of it all. What I hate most is hiding who he is as a teacher, I SEE NO REASON FOR THAT TO BE DONE. Like, I can understand if there are people out for his head but no, most if not everyone in the world looks at him like the greatest mage of all time, he really has no enemies other than the demons(I think they are fighting demons).
Not only that, I hate how the regret is handled, its the most weakest reason for regret when seen. The Childhood friend? Yea I can somewhat understand but all that was needed to be done was to leave a note stating what happen but nope. The hero party? They kicked him out cause weak blab blab, and they regret just cause he made life easier. Like dude just get a female mage if you just wanted someone to handle the chores(From what I got, most men that joined wanted ‘in’).
Now the part I HATE the most. From what we are getting for the harem is gonna be added with his students maybe. Idk how young they are but I am pretty sure the MC is like in his late 20s. I fuking hate it and its gonna be cringe
3/10, the only regret I got is reading this trash. There is no life in this MC and the women are there just to be badly made regret dolls. Also Idk what the story the other guy saying this is a copy of but if so, damn the guy who made trash and more reason for hate.

Forced misunderstanding, dense MC, hides his powers because *reasons*, too fast pace, pushover, etc etc… very generic and cliche. Nothing new, nor anything interesting… Plain boring.

Its a copy, I mean they almost copypasted it from the last one which was discountinued. Mc is emotionless and hiding his ability, his superior is pushing for marriage with his daughter who is a student in mc’s class and only one who knows his identity . There is the younger sister of the crown princess , there is the overenthusiastic elf , a musclehead and another sword specialist in mc’s class. First practice session is everyone attacking mc alltogether and mc defeating everyone and then next mc goe off to find his friend who is leader in the entertainment district. Thats the exact same plot in the other one , with only diff being here the cf has taken the place of the teacher who liked him. Well atleast hope this wont discountinued.
