After seeing 30 chapters, 8.0 points at most, no more than 8.5 points, the novel does have some interesting plots, but when the main character changes from knowing the background setting to being able to modify the so-called reasonable backstory to some extent, it becomes a poison for me, which makes me feel that the main character is not in a real world, and the female characters are not like living people. It is hard to imagine that the brave saint became afraid of the dark because of the words of the mc, and the two saint women were modified into sisters by the mc without relevant background exploration

Ok this story is really crazy and hectic. At first, it’s all about surviving, saving the good, condemning the bad, and learning about the bad that actually could be good and making them part of his “harem” (at the normal part he has 4 “harem” members. Also, what I mean by “harem” is that they like him or show at least some amount of interest in him). It was pretty decently written. Then suddenly MC kidnaps his yandere because she’s planning on killing one of his harem members. The interesting part of the following chapters is, whenever he’s “rehabilitating ” someone, he almost absorbs the traits that he is trying to fix on someone else. For example, when fixing the yandere, he becomes one himself. He also has a sword that punishes opponents who are acting arrogant, which then makes him arrogant, as if they cannot beat him. Eventually the MC begins to realize he’s gone crazy. Sometimes he tries to justify it or excuse it. Others he tries to stop himself but continues. The MC also has sadistic tendencies from bullying his maid (because as a child she tries to hypnotize the ori MC, as someone who read the novel, he tries to make her into a masochist guided by his system) and begins trying to make harem members depend on him for everything. I’m at Chapter 108 and honestly, I kind of feel like quitting because of how dark it, though it might just be me. Other novels that I thought were crazy are now at the same level as this one (like Do You Think You Can Run After Reincarnating, Nii-san?(ngl this one still is one of the craziest.), Became a Dark Merchant in the Academy, and a few others I think). This novel still does have very good writing and story and honestly is very well made. It’s just very weird feeling.

  I finished it up to the latest and its pretty good. Maybe I just wasn’t sleeping well so I didn’t interpret it correctly? Or it just toned down near the end? I don’t know, but it’s a pretty good novel. At least 8-8.5/10 but probably 9-9.5/10 or possibly higher.

  I tried reading those crazy novel too, I like the premise and the plot but once I stopped reading it and start self reflection I feel like an insane person for trying to read such novel
  I just can’t get myself to read it anymore since I’m not ready for the roller coater ride of insanity, so I just end up spoiling myself with the plot

This is Godly 10/10. Honestly I give 10 to great novel and very bad novels who are so bad that they somehow becomes good and also to novels doing something average but with great execution. Novel I give 10 ratings are few but I adore them, example will be Strange Grief want to Retire, To be the Power in the Shadows, Omniscient Reader Viewpoint where we have Hugh instead of Kim Dojka, Regressor Instruction Manual, and few others.
Today I am happy to add another one to list. This is a great novel as it’s doing something crazy, we have a Godly MC here. We have Beta MCs who simp over heroines, Alpha MCs who collect them as Pokemons, Sigma MCs who grind first and then getting one or two good heroines, and not a Godly MC. Story itself is not strong but MC is just Godly, I am overusing it because I have no other adjectives for him.
What so unique about him? He is a paragon of corruption, at first he made the Demon King aware of her Masochistic tendencies for a quest but then something unlocked in him and he became a true Devil. He can corrupt anyone, a Goddess was against him and wanted to kill him off. He took half of her self into a closed space, tortured her, trained her like Pavlov Dog and subconsciously made her desire his warmth for sustenance. Yes she could have escaped when she gets together with other part but MC understood that these Gods are just Humans, no even worse than Humans, they are more flawed. At least Humans tries to grow up and be powerful but these Gods are hopeless, sleeping for eternity and even if they are awake they are more interested in using their heroes for personal goal. MC being a true Devil or God can understand these flaws, even if she is God her mind was weaker than most humans and things he implanted overcame other half. And she became his slave.
MC has done same things to other too, it started with a Yandere. A Yandere was trying to kill a person who just dared to have a duel with MC but MC didn’t like it, he kidnapped her and played the role of True Yandere and broke the fake one. And this awakened the Sadist in him. Most of the 10 Grade Novels has at least something which other novel don’t have, here way Author is using Psychology of heroines and MC is mind-blowing. MC is corrupting heroines, and by that he is also corrupting himself, and he is even afraid to see why this is happening as it will also be accepting that somewhere deep down he can do cruel things which he abhorred, just like other people.

Basically he reincarnated as the main character of the story and to return to his world he has to achieve 100 achievements however later in the story without using warning he proceeds to become an crazy psychopath who manipulates everyone who loves him/he loves into becoming dependant and mentally unstable (he locked one of them into a room and made them isolated then gaslighted her into needing him for everything and made her seek him for every choice she makes ,he did this for a month to Libya so he can trust her not to kill randoms he needs for his plans and did this same thing to yuria for an achievement to make her depend on him except he just isolated her in a room and left her for a while until he solved everything when everyone was after her during the constellation imposter arc ) and then he just gets more and more crazy to the point I feel bad knowing for others knowing he makes other purposely misunderstand so they fall into his scenario of love and believe that they are the true ones for him but it’s all according to his plan including the actions they take and thoughts…

I agree – this story had potential and I enjoyed the first 30 or so chapters, but it turned into the MC needing to be a sadistic SOB to break down all the female leads.

Background details here is more like a hidden plot that wasn’t revealed in the original story but it was still there.

Another example of background setting is their past. For example one of the character turn out to be the daughter/son of an sketchy organization that ran away from home and that setting had never really been revealed in the novel. A setting that only show up in the personal note than an author made.

I think it means in a literal sense. Like the mc get reincarnated but there are many things happened/happening in the background which he doesnt know because maybe it was not covered in the game/novel in which he reincarnated.
For ex – maybe before his reincarnation in a background setting he humiliated a heroine or something but it was never revealed in the game/novel
